"Best experience 3D2N at Perhentian Island with Mimpi Hotel. Hotel, transfer boat and snorkeling activities arrange by Mimpi. Swimming pool facing Long beach with magnification view. Breakfast is good. Friendly staff specially staff girl at swimming counter which really help my kids on arrangement snorkeling activities. Thumbs up. Need to improve room wifi signal but other matter was awesome. Really recommended if you want to stay at Long Beach Perhentian Island. "

"Resort has a very nice beach (compared against others that we've been to at Perhentian islands), staff is amazingly friendly and helpful (upon arrival we had an issue with leaking handshower - it took 10 mins for someone to come over to see the problem and next 10 mins to fix it by replacing it with a new one). When doing the booking ourselves, we noticed people raising 2 issues: quality of food and cleanliness. In the resort we ate only breakfasts and these were great (big variety that will fit everyone's tastes). When it comes to cleanliness on a daily basis our room was nicely cleaned up. Overall we are very satisfied with our stay at this resort and if we come back to Perhentian Islands (which I very much hope for!) then we would definitely stay at Perhentian Island Resort again."

"The reviews did scare me, however we wanted to visit the Perhentian islands and we had no alternative. I must say the the resort was wonderful. Let me start with the room (we booked a superior room in the main building). The beds are more than ok, however the shower and toilet (both in the room and the one are the reception) could use some updating and that's an understatement). The breakfast is for malesian standerds very good. You can get toast, all kinds of pastry, fruits, cereal, and Malsian style breakfast. Moreover, you can order eggs (prepared in all ways: omelette, scrambled etc). The menu of the restaurant has enough choice. We also had lunch in other places, but I must say that the restaurant in Arwana was very good. The chef (Abdulrazak) is very kind and even gave us some Malaysian chicken saté. For diner they also have a very good bbq or fish steam boat. The best plus of the resort is the swimming pool. It is cleaned every morning. It is a shame that they do not invest in a good filtering system (you don;t need to clean the pool in the morning so in the long run saved you money and the pool isn't dirty in the evening). This is the largest swimming pool on the island. Is very useful if you have small children (and indeed for adults :-). The hotel has also it's own small pier. This is very handy if you need to carry luggage. You don't need to drag this over the beach to you resort. Another big plus it the diving school at the facility. For people that have no experience...the pool is very handy for learning the basics of diving. We took lessens and found are very satisfied...other schools go to shallow water witch is very hard due to the waves. Finally, the staff is very nice...although I believe this hold for most people in Malesia. I also took some din"

"very recommended to stay at bubu long beach resort in perhentian island. among the best resort to others. the resort is near with long beach and the room has sea view. so relaxing. it also have view of sunrise. the staffs very friendly and heldpful from reception area until to the restaurant. also have a welcoming drinks. near to the beach for swimming. the room also clean and tidy. just for improvement, - hope the resort would provide muslim-friendly such as qiblah direction in the room and prayer mat. and hope also the alcohol is not provide in mini bar. - beside that, hope the television also may be provided in the room to reduce the bored in the room. - hope the resort would provide shuttle boat to the coral bay if the jetty nearest could'nt take the tenants return to the kuala besut jetty. because the walking distance through the island trekking is so tired and not recommend to the elderly people. for others facilities really helpful. thanks bubu long beach resort!!!"

"New and tastefully designed boutique hotel, great view. The bed was comfy,power pressured shower, even the shampoo smelt great(haha.. i end up having the shampoo as gift from nico). Its a gem we've found in this island where the owners(nico&wife, nina) and staff(nick) were so attentive, generous, loving and friendly. Food was in good portion, tasty, only freshest ingredients were used, moroccon lamb taste marvelous. Will Definitely come back"

"Everything was perfect at the Ombak Resort. The staff is always smiling and available. The 2 snorkeling outings went very well. The breakfast buffet is very well provided, there is something for everyone. The screening of a film every night is nice, and if it bothers us there are other quiet places on the beach. The "bad" scores due to the almost total absence of wifi is not justified. If you need to connect, the reception is there to meet your needs (check-in online for flights, printing boarding passes, booking boat return...). We are on the Perhentian Islands, being cut off from the world is delicious-looking. Thank you Ombak!"

"My family and I had a wonderful stay at Alunan. This is truly a special place. accommodation and facilities were exceptional. We really enjoyed the private deck above our room. The excursions were organised and guided in a professional manner. We managed to swim with turtles and sharks and really enjoyed the excursions. The food at Alunan was amazing. Much better quality and tastier when compared to other resorts on Perhentian Island. The were friendly and extremely courteous . Big thank you to Yana, Mun, Deewan, Abe and especially Nur (we loved his icecream!). Professional, helpuful and always willing to assist with a smile. We managed to tour the Perhentian Islands as Mun was always willing to take us around. Loved all the beaches on the islands. Crystal clear waters, fish in abundance and just natural untouched beauty. This is a special place. We will definitely be back. "

"This is by far the best place to stay on the Perhentian Islands. The villa is really lovely and very spacious with an awesome outdoor bathroom and lots of big windows. The breakfast was great with more than enough options and great coffee. Every evening guests get two free alcoholic cocktails, which given the price of alcohol in the Perhentians is really fantastic (it's a MYR140 value for two people every night). The beach is great and they have sun loungers with traditional umbrellas for guests in front of the resort. The beach on Long Beach is the probably one of the bluest water experiences you're ever going to have in your life. The room could have benefited from a fridge, a TV (just to be used to connect a laptop to for a movie at night), a small sound system and an armchair. For the price of the room, these extras should be included. Further, some minor repairs were needed (some lights in the back of the villa in the indoor section of the bathroom were broken, the air-conditioning dripped the last night we were there). Regardless of these issues, of the eight nights we spent in the Perhentians, the two at Bubu Villas were the best in terms of accommodation and service, we felt relaxed and comfortable. "

"Had a great time with my family here in Aman dan Laut. The moment we arrived we were welcome with great hospitality by Mr Eddie. Although we arrive early from the checkin time, they manage to let us in right after they clean up the room. The room is on the hill side so for those with disabilities are not advisable to stay here. For me with a 2 years old daughter we don't find much problem as the view from the balcony is just beautiful and relaxing,just what I wanted. The food was great. We had plenty of nasi goreng for sure. Make sure your contact information is correct, so that the hotel can call you to confirm your arrival time at the perhentian jetty, because there is a pick up service to the hotel. Certainly will book this hotel again on my next visit. "
