Lovely & friendly staff, especially Natalie Awesome breakfast spread Clean Amazing view when u walk from the hotel to the station Many groceries store around Wilderswil station A bit of a downside: No lift 😅 just make sure u are fit to climb the stairs with your luggage Quite a walk to nearest station (10 - 15 mins) Wilderswil station, around 800 meters I miss this hotel already!

Fine for a couple of days to explore the region. I booked the place because it looked like a quintessential swiss spot to show my parents around - the features in the room were a little bit older than expected - the mattresses, the bathroom furnishings, etc. The breakfast in the morning was good and plentiful, but we had dinner at the restaurant once and we had to wait for ages as they served people indoors but kind of ignored us outdoors - I understand that it wasn't necessarily the fault of the wait staff since they were just two, trying to serve almost a full restaurants but we waited over an hour for just two soups. I think they need more wait staff for peak times like this.

Good Restaurant”

The restaurant food is delicious, especially the pork. My son loves their fries and porkchops. It is not close to the mountain, but not far to reach if you dirve, about 20 mins only. The stuff is friendly. The toilet is small but Parking was free.

Transportation is easy, can reach by bus Balcony view is so nice Breakfast is standard and sumptuous Room has everything you need (Just the pillow and bed, a little too soft) Overall I’m satisfied with the 3 nights stay, recommended!

The charm of a Swiss chalet ”

Has an awesome 3 days stay at Baeren Hotel Wilderswil. The room we had was excellent with a balcony. Breakfast was quite good and overall hospitality excellent.

Lovely location, near to the wilderswil railway station. Either take a walk or get 105 number bus from the hotel. 3rd floor rooms with luggage are difficult to access. Breakfast is same as everyday, was hoping for variety daily.
