The check-in process was very positive. During my stay they were reconditioning several rooms to have better/new air conditioning units. The WIFI works very well on the 9th floor.

Overall experience is good in terms of location. Room wise Abit old and tired. Wifi don't really work all the time. Still good and value for money. No point buying their breakfast though.

We arrived at 7am and they let us check in early. 5 min walk to Beijing road and to metro station. Surrounding by a lot of eatery and restaurant. They have dim sum restaurant inside the hotel itself and always crowded. Sometimes There are some cooking oil smells in our room. We believe the smells coming through the kitchen because Our room Is located near to the breakfast hall and right above the dim sum restaurant. So avoid staying at level 4. Cleanliness of the room is very good. Overall value for money.

Located at Beijing Lu shopping area. Yu can get dim sum/food at 2nd, 3rd floor of the hotel. Walking distance to Nongjiangsuo station. Can shop and eat at the local shop surrounding. Nice place and good price.

Conflicting review”
The hotel is located in a great location close to what could described as downtown Guangzhou ie. 10 minutes walk to Beijing Road aka shopping strip. It's a 5 minutes walk to the closest subway stop with bus stops just outside. The low budget price tag comes with costs though. For example, the bed, toilet, basin area and decor are quite new but the carpet and shower area need refurbishing. The hotel also reused towels that have holes in them. Housekeeping starts at 8am and unfortunately, as my room faced the road, the traffic was quite noisy at night even with the window closed.

While this is just a 2 star hotel, there are other similar rated hotels with better service. Cleanliness and layout issues about the hotel room but the main issue was when we were assigned to windows without rooms when we specifically booked for rooms with windows. Staff initially insisted that rooms are assigned randomly and some rooms do not have windows. We were moved to rooms with windows the next day after a long argument with staff. Even the room cards were not enough, had a hard time sharing 1 card specially when u need the card to access the elevator and the room.

The actual room I got was totally different than the one on the web. It was old, dirty and the wall was so thin, the staffs were ok. Overall, it was not a good experience, not recommended.

I had to change my room 4 times, to get a renovate room. It was dirty and very nasty. The pictures was not comparable. Wifi does not work at all, had to work in the lobby to get strong wifi. Breakfast was horrible, I paid for 14 days and had 2 times breakfast. It was cold, everyday the same and not tasty at all!

Booked for room with window, was assigned to small room without windows - on the office floor. Staff not accommodating. Toilets not laid out well, low ceiling, wifi not reliable, rooms not cleaned well and even skipped one day of cleaning.

Old room with mold and poor plumbing ”
We had booked two kingrooms but only got one king and one much smaller twin room. On one of the rooms there was a hole in the ceiling before the bathroom with mould growing on it (1016) In the other smaller room 1208 (that was not the king bed we paid for) there was plumbing issues and the drain would not flow. After taking a shower there was a small wading pool on the shower base.

You can find a larger hotel for cheaper in the area. Two days after checking in we found a photocopy of our passports on the reception computer next to the front desk. This worried us a lot.
