Comfortable and convenient”
My stay at GreenTree was fine. My choice was mainly based on location and price, since I needed a hotel in the Haidian District near Wudaokou and the major universities in Beijing. The price was very good, and the room was very clean, the bed comfortable. I liked how they provided bottles of fresh water and green tea packets so I could drink tea. I had to check out at 5am, and the process was very quick. I would stay here again.

Pleasant Stay, Easy on the Pocket!”
I stayed in GreenTree Inn Xueyuan Road hotel for about 5 nights. Frankly speaking, I wasn't expecting much considering the price I paid. Yet, as I was a student traveller looking for temporary residence till I found a room in my university dorm, I was willing to accept below average service. But I was pleasantly surprised when I went there. The hotel was nice, my room was big, the location was excellent - very close to the wudaokou area where you will find many restaurants and shopping centers! The hotel doesn't provide any food. However, there is a small shop beside the lobby where you can buy water and some light snacks from (but their prices are unnecessarily high). I felt that the hotel staff were very well behaved. Unfortunately, they speak little or no English, so unless you know some basic words, you might get frustrated trying to communicate with them. However, they do try their best. I would highly recommend this hotel to all budget travelers, especially students.

The room is relatively small, but clean and warm. Can have a good sleep after the whole day outside. The hotel is only 10 minutes walking from Wudaokou subway station, and 20-30 minutes to Tsinghua University. Easy to locate. Taxi from Beijing Intern'l Airport to this hotel costs about 15 usd, about 45 minutes driving Surrounding areas have a lot of good places to eat. There are some nice restaurant inside the U-center (BHG) building near Wudaokou station with reasonable price. This is a good budget hotel for those who want to visit Tsinghua and Beijing Universities.

Hotel located on great location, easy to get to convienient store and shopping, also nearly wudaokou subway station, but I think my room is too small and when open the windows only thing could see is brick from the other building, feel a bit uncomfortable, but if you don't mind this, this hotel is value for money.

Worth the money”
I am a solo traveler on a conference at Beijing. The hotel is located only about 15 minutes to top Beijing universities and merely 10 minutes to a subway station (Wo Dao Kou) that gives you access anywhere in Beijing. I arrived in late October when the temperature has gradually dropped, yet the heater hasn't yet been turned on (nationally, the heater is on in November, but of course not for all hotel, if you stay in 4-5 stars, then there will be heater), thus it feels very cold inside the room (esp. if you come from tropical countries) and there's nothing you can do except take a very hot shower (temp. inside the room is around 15-20 degrees C). Breakfast is 15 yuen chinese buffet (soup, veggy, eggs, noodles, rice, basically local food). If you don't smoke, make sure to ask for a non-smoking room because the room I stayed in smell like cigarette, esp. everytime you come into the room. The room itself is quite spacious with a huge bathroom. Unfortunately not all staff (even in the front office) can speak English. (There is only one or two who can speak very little English, so be prepared). All in all, the hotel is worth the money.

Great stay near Wu Dao Kou”
had meetings in the west side of Beijing so I chose to stay near the students of Wu Dao Kou. couldn't really find a hotel on the main road and this green tree was the closest to everything. Price was really good, so good that I think university students use it as a dorm. The heat was on so high that I had to open the window at night. Nice staff would definitely stay here again if I had to stay in the west side.

Nice hotel”
I quite satisfied during my stay here. The hotel is newly built, so all are still new and clean. The bathroom as a separate glass-cabin for shower. The bedroom is quite big for a single bed and equipped with an LCD television. Since this is a newly built hotel, so there is still some construction and renovation in the main gate, but it is not a big deal i guess. Overall, this hotel is good to stay and the price is reasonable.

this hotel is near the wudaokou subway. first, it's look scary but when you enter its hotel you will feel relief after that. it has tiny room but it is okay for two people. reception can speak chinese a little bit and there is little minimart near reception.

This is a budget hotel and one of the poorer ones I have stayed at. The rooms are small, there are some bugs, but it is close to the subway station, about 10minutes away. There is free wifi but it was slow. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the hotel is just small and old.

Hotel was okay considering its price. It was a good value for money as its condition was acceptable despite its small room. Close to a shopping mall, metro station, and Beijing's 4th ring road are its main advantages.

Nothing special”
The rooms and hotel are nothing to be proud of, it is very small and not very clean. The window looks into an alley, and I was hesitant to leave the windows open, shades open. The hotel is close by to the subway about 10min walk and there are a lot of shops, restaurants in the area, staff is friendly and helpful, the hotel is just old and needs a refresh.

Good Location, but Not Fancy”
It was okay. There was more noise in the hallway this time compared to my first stay, but it quieted down later in the evening. The shower stall had some problem, since the water leaked out onto the bathroom floor when I took a shower. Otherwise, the room was in good condition, and clean, and the bed was comfortable for sleeping in.

central location to 8 university ”
The staff was very friendly and helpful, since I speak Chinese so I do not know if the staff speak good English. The hotel is under construction, it looks like the new wing will be better. The hotel was clean, and the breakfast was quite good too.

cheapest and it was a let down”
Checking in was easy enough. I was not aware of the 100 rmb deposit and had only had 50rmb and 100usd. It took a while to sort out and she took the 50. I reccomend they learn conversation rate because I basically offered 600rmb and they took the 50. Well the room smelled pretty bad and it was boiling hot. I opened the window and it was just a raw sewage smell out the window and we were sub floor (I came to learn the sign said don't open for health reasons in Chinese). Now all things considered there was a computer, WiFi, it was extremely cheap and by the bar area. They DO NOT let you bring a guest in without their ID or passport. We got into an argument about it when my girlfriend came by to help pack. They sent a janitor dressed in a police Halloween costume to stand guard my room. They were just doing their jobs but a little leniancy would go a long way.

I visited my daughter who study there and this hotel near her language school. Facility are moderate, but,2-2 star hotel rate is fair enough. Not flexible for late check out. 12:00 o'clock but allow to deposit baggage
