It’s an old hotel but the location is really good, just above the metro station. We booked a one day tour fr the local agency and the meeting place it’s this hotel lobby. Very convenient. Although the hotel room is old but the room is clean. It has a good chinese resturant at 3rd floor. Thumbs up for this hotel. Value for money.

Very accessible.”

The place is very accessible just besides Haizhu square exit E. Lots of shops around. Very convenient to attend the Canton fair since they provided free shuttle bus in going and coming back . The Staff can speak and understand English too. The only con is the room smells cigarrete smoke sometimes.

Great location”

The location was right beside the exit of metro station. However, this exit provides no stair so if you bring heavy luggage, might be a little challenge. But the hotel itself was clean and neat. The staffs also speak English. Overall nice stay.

I have always stay in Guangzhou Hotel for almost 11 years. It was a great place - great location BUT... there is a major renovation in the facade of the hotel. Very dusty and for every construction there are a lot of insects flying around. And I am super afraid of disease brought about by insects. Other than that, the HOTEL is generally my favorite hotel in Guangzhou..

Unbeatable location ”

Excellent location. English speaking staff. Older building with washroom in need of Renovation. Walk out the front door and the myt is right there. Bus to Hong Kong is also just out the door . Depends on your needs, location worked well with me. Nice view of river and of the canton tower (glimpse).
