Great view of the desert, great meal spread and fun activities.”

    Things I like
We had originally booked another of their camps which was a little more into the interior, but since they didn't have many bookings there we got shifted to their main site which is just off the road into Wadi Rum. And boy, were we thankful! This was a much bigger camp, with a lot more activities and many, many spaces for lounging and a really big meal area. We met Hassan himself during the check-in and he was a very quiet person but very efficient and let us know all the details needed. They included dinner in our plan (breakfast was already complementary) and their spread was just A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. We loved all of their dishes and were so full each time! They had a large range of salads and there were always two or more curry-type dishes (however, we didn't see the other western tourists enjoying as much. So if you're not really a foodie nor relish exotic arabian flavors, do reach out to Hassan or his team and they will make the arrangements for you). But the best part was our Martian tent which was all the way in the corner of the camp from which we had a view of the large desert in front of us and an excellent dune slope just behind. The tent was very spacious and well equipped, save for a few things. We even took a stargazing short trip (20 JD per person, worth it despite the local clouds, coz we could see Saturn with its rings and the whorls on Jupiter). Sunset trip was good too. Train trip was really fun. The next night we indulged in a little folk dance (the other tourists were just sad coz they didn't join in, but I think during the weekends it may be more lively coz of more locals). You can have sheesha for a small charge after dinner. Many of the reviews complain about the AC during the day... but we went at the end of October so it was quite pleasant during the day, plus the shadow of the rock behind our tent meant that it didn't heat up in the morning... so we needed the AC for only about a couple of hours during the afternoon.
    Things I don’t like
The bathrooms and bath amenities are a little less maintained - the shower area has only a direct shower (no tap+shower head combination) and yet they didn't provide showercaps. The towels do not seem to be thoroughly washed. In the bedroom, the AC had a slight mechanical problem with its swing. We made a temporary fix by connecting a thread and that seemed to work well. But we didn't really complain as everything else was ok. Though the tents aren't quality-wise as luxurious as one may believe from the photos, they do a really good job considering the lack of other infrastructure in this area. And we felt it was really ok for the price and the experiences we had.

One of the best accommodation I've ever stayed”

    Things I like
The tent and the experience exceeded my expectations. The tent is spacious, and the bed is very comfy. There is a small refrigerator inside. The bathroom was small but clean. They serve fantastic dinners using traditional methods. They only have a few staff members who do everything from cooking to cleaning to serving tea and arranging transport. Overall, the view from the tents was very breathtaking. I also love the jeep tours and camel tours. They arrange everything from you.
    Things I don’t like
No one is fluent in English, so we need to make extra effort when arranging transport, asking for amenities, or checking payments. But online translator apps will help. And have good faith that they understand you.

Didn’t stay where we paid for! Not the luxury vibes you would think!”

    Things I like
The food was lovely, especially the underground cooked food! It was a good location (see below comments though)- easy to find and get to. The staff were lovely and attentive. Particularly in the dining hall. The place had friendly vibes. Parking easy too! The Martian tent was a good size. I like the egg chair outside to sit and chill in. Great views. It was nicely decorated. We did a stargazing excursion. That was wonderful. Unfortunately the moon was full and bright and the sky started to cloud so wasn’t as good as it could have been BUT the man was great. It was an external company but 100% recommend!
    Things I don’t like
I messaged to ask how we get to their accommodation a day or two before arrival. They told us to go to their main camp and they would take us there. Upon arrival at their main camp they told us nobody was in the camp we booked (camp two) and we would be staying on their main camp. I had paid for camp two and am not sure if there was a price difference. They assured us it was the same style tent. We said okay because what else would we do. I feel that when I messaged to ask about getting to the camp they should have been upfront. Or even before I asked, message and say the second camp is closed due to low season. Instead they lied. We got to the room. It was so hot and as a result had a funny smell. This smell lingered the whole time. Not the glamping “luxury” experience I was hoping for. It seemed unaired. We put the aircon on- it didn’t cool the room much, we ended up chilling outside. It was only late at night when the desert was cool that the room was bearable. Our lock broke on the door. The man was friendly and fixed it but it took a while before we were able to get into our room and access it and it was a while before he came. The shower! Oh dear! It needed a new head and water poured out of one corner! The bed was very short- my partner is 5’10 and his feet poked out the end. I am 5’2 and I was at the end! The camel ride excursion. I was on the fence about this. I had done it before in Wadi Rum with a diff company and the treatment of the camels wasn’t bad. This one was awful. One camel (who were told was a baby- seemed an excuse) was grumpy. And no wonder! He had a terrible stomach- runny faeces flicked up the back of my partner. He was trying to throw him off and was all over. When he did this the man yanked the chain and yelled- the poor camels face was badly bleeding. His legs were also tied together. I felt uncomfortable and was left quite upset. I understand any map rights are different and my ignorance in participating.

Would definitely recommend this camp for a quiet and luxurious stay in the desert.”

    Things I like
I had a wonderful stay here. The camp is relatively new, small and a bit off the beaten path in the desert. I was taken to the camp by jeep and felt comfortable and warmly welcomed from the first moment. The room was clean and well equipped, with a private shower and AC/heater, and wonderful quiet at night. There is a larger room where breakfast, lunch and dinner was served and a smaller tent where you can warm up by the fire in the colder evenings and have always a fresh tea. At night the sky was just impressive and breathtaking and in the morning I could watch the sunrise from my room. I loved every minute and would recommend the camp to anyone looking for a quiet and luxurious stay in the desert.

    Great view”

    Things I like
The location is great and has an amazing view. The view from the bubble is also wonderful. The room is fairly clean. Dinner was amazing, and we saw the traditional earth-oven meat cooking. The staff are friendly and helpful.
    Things I don’t like
We stayed during the cold season, so it was cold at night, and the blanket was so small that it only covered half of our body. I expected the three-hour jeep tour to include some history and the main attractions in the desert, but it mainly took us to the desert and stopped at a few points. We got in and out of the jeep and figured everything out by ourselves. Except for the view, the room is basic. No wi-fi in the room, only in the reception. However, it's enough for a 1-night stay.
