Hat Yai North hotels & places to stay

I stayed only one night as I was in transit in Hat Yai but I could stay more. Very new boutique hotel, super clean, big room and very comfortable. Breakfast included in the price and one coupon big bottle of beer is offered to the guest at the restaurant ! Perfect place…..the only point but was not big deal is 30min walk from train station ( but 5-10min with mototaxi or tuk tuk ) I will come back for sure.

Booked a pool access room for 3 nights. Spacious room. Surprisingly lift on the first floor ,not at the lobby. Location in a housing area. Good if come with own transport. No tea or coffee sachets though water kettle provided. Good enough to provide hairdryer and fridge. Suggest to provide hanging clothes string in shower if family access the pool often. Breakfast provided too, though only simple bread and hot drinks . Saw a cooking stove but not sure we are allowed to cook there. Overall stay satisfying despite parking bay a bit challenging for its very narrow space to turn. Nearby to Big C too where we did our last minute shopping before leaving Hat Yai.

easy to find, behind supermarket BigC so it's very convenient...drove in hatyai, had ample of parking spaces both indoor or outdoor with guards....room was clean, sheets n blanket changed daily!! when we just checked in thr wasn't any pillow case or towel or hairdrier but fast response after letting the receptionist know and never had that problem again...staff were friendly and receptionist had minimum English knowledge which is sufficient...value for money and great place...would definitely book this hotel again next visit

After reading the review ( after my booking) I was afraid , but like to give it a chance and honestly, for the price payed, Wendo not regreat it ! I live in a near city and tried lot of hotel in hat yai, and as I was going with 2 teenagers for an interview a the close school I book 2 rooms at that hotel with my wife. The room was large, bed clean and comfortable, air cond working super good and hot water as well. A seating area, USB port close to the bed. Again, for the price payed it was great ! Ok... a bit of dust on the ceiling..... not a beautiful reception desk, but efficient staffs, for a bit more than 300 baht we was satisfied. ( and the secure car park was a plus ). Good

I had a fantastic stay at Tipparika. The hotel is newly open, yet it is full of warm welcome and excellent service from staffs. Room (though, I rather call it bungalow) is clean and neat, it contains of a big balcony in front of a river where I can sip the coffee in the morning. The pool is beautiful and quite exclusive enough that we can enjoy it privately. More thing I love is the peaceful and serenity of the place whereby at first I thought it would be much further away from the city area. I have visited Hat Yai several times before and never know that there is such a place exist here from the busy downtown in about 15 minutes drive. I will sure stay at this place again on the next trip to Hat Yai.

Although we arrived late (9:30 pm), the guard had our keys (and tv remote) ready for us. We stayed on the third floor, but since there is elevator it was no trouble at all. It was a pleasant surprise to walk into "our apartment" - best way to describe it. It has a living room with a kitchenette (a few dishes), two bedrooms and a bathroom. The place was really clean and the cleaning lady does a thorough job. Although the couches in the living space are not so soft, they are clean and it is a great place to hang out. The bedrooms are spacious, have ACs and the beds are comfortable. Not only was the bathroom clean, but it also has a bathtub (quite rare in Thailand). As for amenities, they provide towels, soap and toilet paper. For an affordable price, you can also have your clothes washed and dried. There's open (guarded at night) area to park your car and Muang Thong is a residential area, so it is in a pleasant and quiet neighborhood. If you walk about 500 meters, you can reach one of the main roads. Once you cross the busy road (I would recommend using the bridge a few meters down), you can catch a songtew (pick-up taxi) to Tesco Lotus, Makkro and Central Festival Mall (shopping and restaurant options) - all on the same road. There is another songtew line that can take you to Big C store and downtown area. Unfortunately, there is no restaurant in Muang Thong, but you can walk up to 7/11 for quick bite or buy some water. If you interested in a vacation apartment (where you eat out but have enough living space) for your family, Muang Thong is a great option in Hat Yai.

The hotel was a good bargain. It is very clean and very well kept. You are able to find food and marts and tuk tuk. The only disappointments it is like 5 minutes drive to Hat Yai town. Each time you take the tuk tuk you got to spend like minimum 20 bath for each person. Rather recommend to stay in central unless you do not mind spending the money for tuk tuk instead of good massage and shopping.

I chose Thong Mansion for its location close to Jiranakorn Stadium. Room was comparatively big and clean, but mine did not have a refrigerator. While the hotel is easy to find, those without Thai language skills might have a problem as the sign is Thai only. Also, the reception is not always staffed and staff might have to be called (used my own mobile phone as I could not figure out how to use the phone at the reception). Easy access to Clock Tower from which local minibuses go to Songkhla and other areas. Night markets in the vicinity, but main shopping areas and nightspots quite far away.

Difficult to get to from train station in tuk tuk, even spoken in thai and writing the address in thai my driver got lost. Near a 7-11. If you have a car perfect or only staying 1 night fine. Otherwise I would recommend somewhere different unless you are fluent in Thai. Staff dont speak English, I speak moderate Thai so was ok Great to stay in for a night out. As there's bars and karaoke places nearby.

Kantana apartment is really worth for money. Very clean and just like a mini garden.. your kids can enjoy feed the fish at the pond too. The staff very helpful and friendly. Very spacious which allowed you to park your car in front of your unit. The air-cond was superb come with wall fan together in the room. Really feel like a home! Definitely recommended for low budget and family vacation.

Stayed here for two night during the Malaysian public holiday. All other hotels were fully booked so we had no other options but to stay at this hotel. The location is quite far away from the city centre. Although the address of the hotel says "hatyai central", it is actually far away from hat yai central. Almost all tuktuk driver do not know where this hotel is, so we had a quite a problem looking for the hotel. As the location is quite far, the price for tuktuk fare range from 100 to 150 bhat for a trip to Lee garden, which takes not more than 15 minutes. The hotel surrounding is also far from any convenience stores or restaurants. So you cannot walk to any 7 eleven. However, this place would be great place for people driving in into Hat Yai. The room is very big and you will have your own garage to park your car. Other than that, the room is quite clean and the WiFi is blazing fast.
