Turned away to practically sleep on the street”
When we arrived,the consierge told us our booking didnt come through .it clearly did because he did find us in his system. Because it said we had to pay at the hotel they must've decided to just shoo us away as we are backpackers?(2 female backpackers). I have no other explanation. When we asked for a room the man said no and laughed at us when we said we can pay for it in cash.furthermore he just walked away mid way through the conversation and dissapeared without helping us solve our question of where to stay and why our booking didnt go through. It was highly stressful, we didnt have anywhere to stay!! We did find something in the end. Agoda should take them off the list as this is completely unacceptable. Avoid.

The hotel is near Dongdan station which is key to navigate quickly to the city and avoid the terrible traffic jam in Beijing. The staff is friendly and helpful but does not speak English; you'll be text/translating to each other for basic information but it is better than nothing considering that the English adoption in English is really low. The hotel is also 10min from Wangfujing road and 30min Tiananmen for those who can walk.

Condemned, flooded=MOLD, bait & switch”
Bait/switch.I'menragedat the staff who work for Hi Inn and JI Inn. Same hotel, but Hi Inn is basement,flooded,carpets not changed/cleaned.Months' worth of cobwebs, instead of cleaning it, he asked if I wanted to change rooms, found a dirty rag to clean it. The JI Hotel is the 1st floor and above, but it's in remodel so the common areas are blocked. The elevator was blocked most days. We walked through paint fumes and dust every day. The smell in the entire hotel was of flood, plumbing not working. It was so strong my friend and I wore our masks all the time, even in the shower. The bathrooms were the worst to breathe. There are 4 toilets and one is full of black sludge and the other is full of green sludge. When I checked out, those toilet stalls were locked from the inside so customers couldn't see. There were more than 50 flies in the shower- like fruit flies, but I've never seen those kind before. I used the shower head to spray them away from me but the filthy walls splashed back onto my body. I informed the staff when I saw a mouse run into my neighbors hotel room and they just continued eating their lunch (I had a translator throughout the experience) I have never felt so concerned for my health in any place in my life and I feel terrible that I subjected my friend/translator to this danger. She is Chinese, and has seen poor hotels, but none were dangerous. Agoda, this is not a hotel. The JI maybe, but HI Inn, no. It is also running an illegal operation, I believe. When people complain of the air, the health risks, the staff say, "we have rooms here at JI Hotel". After hours, I couldnt find another hotel that accepted foreigners. BUT I REFUSED TO PAY THIS BAIT AND SWITCH. It is unethical, disgusting and shocking. I've been traveling through China on a small budget for 9 months, so my standards are shockingly low. I have documentation.

Très cher pour ce que c’est ”
Situé juste à côté du métro ce qui est un très bon point mais c’est le seul. Nous avons dormi au sous sol, bruit de perceuse à 23h, beaucoup de passage, des trous dans les murs, le lavabo qui tient sur des piles de carrelage, salle de bain partagée, personnel ne parlant pas anglais du tout et petit déjeuner indiqué 25 rmb mais ils nous annoncent 40. Je déconseille fortement pour le prix.

トイレ、シャワー共同のちかの部屋にチェックインしました。早速シャワーに行くとそこにはなんと糞がされていました。フロントへ行き片付ける様に言って1時間後…まだ糞が。フロントに行き強めに片付ける様に言うとスタッフはスネたのか廊下に唾を吐いていました。すぐにチェックアウトし、まともなホテルにチェックインしました。

このホテルに限らないのですが、英語が通じないです。 駅近で、ショッピングモールの近いので立地は最高です。王府井までも徒歩圏内です。 地下の部屋は窓がありません。シャワー室は共同でしたが、事前に分かったいたので問題なし。共有スペースもきちんと掃除されていましたし、部屋もキレイでした。

今回は窓なしの地下の部屋に泊まりました。時間が分からないと、多少の湿気に困りましたが、ほかは特に問題無し。共同シャワーは思ってたいた以上の水圧の良さと温度の高さに大満足。混み合う事もなく、悪くなかったです。 とにかく、スタッフの対応の良さに脱帽。生活が豊かになると、人の心も豊かになるのだなぁ〜と感じました。 以前の中国を知っている人なら、満足できるホテルだと思います。

想像よりきれいで駅からも近い”
地下鉄東単駅のすぐ近くで移動にはとても便利です。王府井、天安門も徒歩でいけます。 地下だったので窓は無かったですが、コンセント、ハンガー、コップ、湯沸かし器、ベッドなど基本の設備はきちんとしています。トイレとシャワーは共同ですが、お湯も出ますし清潔さも普通以上。石鹸もありましたが、泡立ち悪し。 スタッフは英語ができる人とできない人がいるようです。ほぼ旅行の寝泊りのみに使用するのでしたら、問題ないと思います。
