Holiday Inn quality for less in Beijing”
The Holiday Inn Express quality and hospitality are served with a smile at this Wangjing property. Check in formalities are handled in a fast, effecient and friendly manner. The Reservation Dept. were courteous and accomodating when I had to extend my stay. Rooms are clean and well maintained. The complimentary breakfast buffet is well managed by the restaurant staff. The general attitude of the entire hotel staff is excellent, reflecting good job and "attitude" training by the management. This Express property certainly delivers on the Holiday Inn guarantee of quality.

Nice hotel and service. Great location”
I enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn Express Wangjing. The room and facilities are clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to your needs. The included breakfast is a nice addition to the package. Location is also good. Very near a mall, mini marts, and other fast food as well as other restaurants. However, my floor was a non-smoking floor but I could smell smoke sometimes. The room cleaning is also not consistent, but generally okay. Overall, for the price, it is a solid hotel to stay in.

Stayed at the HI Express, Beijing Wangjing because I had work meetings relatively close to the hotel. It's a nice no-frills place with spacious and comfortable rooms and beds, complimentary high speed internet and free breakfast. The bathroom was a bit dated (but clean). The shower was good. The breakfast could use a bit more continental touch but still not bad. Has a laundry corner on the 6th floor for self laundry, pressing, etc.

A night of luxury after a month of travel. ”
The hotel was very kind in letting me store baggage until I returned from a trip outside of Beijing which lasted nearly a week. All the amenities of Holiday Inn in the US including a soft bed and plumbing that works! It's near the airport, but not close to sightseeing areas that would interest tourists. A good hotel for business trips.

No surprises but sufficient for biz travelers ”
There are no major surprises for staying at the Holiday Inn Express, but it's sufficient for a short-stay if one is traveling for business. The room could use a slightly better upgrade with its bathroom facilities and complimentary toiletries. The breakfast buffet could also add a bit more variety. Location is ideal for those who are traveling for business in the Wangjing area.

Clean and comfortable”
I've stayed in a few Holiday Inn Express' in China, and all have been good. I always know what to expect with Holiday Inn. Breakfast was decent, it's set up for Korean taste in mind. Rooms were comfortable, beds and pillow were great, and showers were hot and a lot of pressure.

A respite from the the busy city”
Initially got dropped off to a different Holiday Inn Express in the same area. So be careful when communicating to the Taxi driver. The hotel itself is simple and functional. Location is good with plenty of restaurants and amenities opposite. There is also a 7-11 that is handy for the emergencies. Would go back again.

Efficient no-nonsense hotel”
Breakfast is great and staffs were efficient and helpful. This hotel is also next to shops. Beware that the 'normal' Holiday Inn (non Express) is close to this hotel, so don't confuse them. Some taxi drivers infront of the hotel were also not honest and they refused to use meter (especially in the morning, when they know that we are in a rush to the airport). They will quote double the normal price.

this isn't the best location if you're looking to stay near downtown but if you're on a business trip or want to be situated near the art district 798 this is a great location. the staff was very friendly and extremely helpful in helping me find my way around.

Petit Business Hotel with Below Par CS Service”
This is a petit business hotel which the only selling point is its close proximity to the center of Wang Jing Area of Beijing. Everything is neat and clean as what you would expect from a normal Holiday Inn Express. Service is relatively below standard. Please also note that the Sofa Bed is not too comfortable. One word of caution, that there is another Holiday Inn Holiday (not Holiday Inn Express) within 5 minutes walking distance, it is very easy to get delivered to the wrong hotel if you only use the Holiday Inn brand name as reference to the taxi driver rather than the full Chinese hotel name.

value for money”
easy to find as its nearby the landmark of Wangjing - Soho Wangjing. Although you can't walk to subway (as it is quite a distance from the subway) but taxi are easy to get here. Taxi rate are standard charge of minimum fare (first 3km)

The suprise package”
The location of this hotel adjacent to many different restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries and supermarkets made our 9 day stay all the more convenient and fulfilling. Despite its relative distance from the city centre (about 20 RMB taxi ride), the hotel was a surprise package compared with other 4 star hotels in Beijing. The free breakfast was overall good –however limited in choices. The staff were all very welcoming with passable english. Hotel is located in the heart of 'little Korea' with plenty of good Korean BBQ diners around. Recommend that you obtain the hotels telephone number (not on the Agoda receipt) so that taxi drivers can ring the hotel staff should they not know where hotel is. Overall a pleasant and affordable stay. Highly recommend if you don’t mind using taxi’s to get around Beijing.

Convenient Boutique Hotel in Wang Jing Area”
This business hotel which is convenient located in the Wang Jing Area, is within walking distance to most of the western corporate offices located in the area. The rooms are compact but tidy, and are in similar standard with what you would expect from a normal Holiday Inn Express hotel. The renovation of the room has been worn down slightly through these years.

hard to find, unhelpful staff”
There are two Holiday Inns in the same development, one express and one not, in buildings with different numbers. There are no Chinese signs for either. They are not visible from each other. The Express Holiday Inn has a missing H in its English sign. I was dropped off at the wrong one by taxi. The staff made it clear that tax drivers often make this mistake. There were several unoccupied attendants outside. There is no safe way to walk from one to the other--you walk on the narrow road without sidewalk. No attempt was made to help me move with suitcases to the Express Holiday Inn. I do speak good Chinese (and did not have very heavy luggage) I hate to think of the problems for late-night arrivals at the wrong place who do not.

Clean & cosy hotel”
there is another holiday inn express just around the corner. most taxi drivers get this mixed up. not many "local" or "interstate" travellers adhere to the no smoking sign which is quite annoying esp in the dinning area. the hie staff should be more stringent with enforcing this no smoking rule.

No frills hotel that is value for money”
We chose the location because it is located right next to our office. The room price was affordable and the place was neat, clean and orderly. For the price that we paid, the place is much better than a local hotel chain that could cost almost the same. Wifi was a bit dodgy though and internet connection was a bit slow. Other than that, we were happy with the place and would recommend it to any price conscious business traveler that is more interested in value for money accommodation than frills.

I would return”
We understood that this hotel runs a shuttle bus. Wrong - there are shuttle buses but not run by the hotel and, strangers to the country and the language, we were never able to find the right bus. We took a taxi, for a quite reasonable fare, but the driver, even with GPS, had difficulty finding the hotel. We saw it from a distance and wound up directing the driver to it. As we had been told, the trip from the airport took about 20 minutes. There are numerous restaurants only a few steps from the hotel. We were jet-lagged and wound up in an Italian restaurant - not so incongruous if we remember Marco Polo - across the street. It was quite agreeable and convenient after a long flight. We were told that there was a supermarket more or less around the corner. All we found was a Seven-Eleven. The wake-up call service is automated and reliable. Breakfast was served too late for us because we had an early morning flight. We did view the restaurant - on the fifth floor - and it seemed comfortable and spacious. Everything worked, people were friendly, service was good, rooms were warm (we visited in winter) and we subsequently learned not too take warm rooms for granted. Room, bathroom, beds were all quite satisfactory. Only problem was the result of thin walls plus loud neighbors in the adjacent room. We stayed here only overnight to get some rest between connecting flights. So we learned little about the neighborhood. That said, here is my take - stay here if it is convenient for you, it's good value for money, but be prepared to take a taxi from the airport (make sure the meter is on) and bring ear plugs or sleeping pills if you are a light sleeper.
