Trendy, modern CBD hotel just recently opened. I was a little nervous because there were so few reviews so far but I need not have worried. Reception staff were professional and courteous and check in smooth. My room was awesome. Lots of little touches made it special. Fantastic comfy bed, flat screen TV, fruit bowl, amazing view over the CBD. Bathroom was lovely and I appreciated the little rubber ducks for the bath :-) As a gym junkie, one big reason to book here was the facilities. The gym was the best hotel gym I have ever seen. It's a working gym open for membership, so has everything you would expect from a big brand name- spin studio, boxing area, masses of top notch equipment. My only complaint is that I could only book for one night as it was full, thus could not make full use of all the facilities or the pool :-( I know exactly where I will be staying on my next trip to Beijing.

Amazing hotel. Polite service staff. Love the decor, and the 3rd floor co-working space that comes with it. The attention to design to the rooms and the "going-the-extra-mile" things that come with the room are amazing. i.e PLENTY of power sockets for charging of devices, great wifi, clear window view, heated toliet seats, complementary fruits, modern appliances. Excellent for business travellers that are working in the tech industry. Would definitely return again (probably again next week on my next work trip haha), if not would definitely check out Hotel Jen hotels at other places

Hotel for the younger crowd”
Hotel Jen is a an outlet more suited for young people. It is hip and contemporary. THe hotel also has a super nice gym. However, this hotel is not for business travellers who are after 5-star services. Breakfast is average. Not the usual Shangri-la standard. I had the breakfast buffet twice and on both counts, it took 3 reminders for the servers to give me my cuppocino. When the beverage was finally served, it was not hot. The club facility is a big let down. Acceptable for younger crowd but not for guests accustomed to 5-star business hotel. The pub in the lobby was extremely busy and so definitely not for those who appreciates classy touch to the ambiance. The hotel felt a bit cheap overall. I will only be back if I am on a tight budget.

Love this hotel so much! My husband and myself are very satisfied with the overall environment and staff service. Although it is slightly far away from the Forbidden City touristy area, this place looks more modern and quiet, yet closer to the train station - between Guo Mao station and Jin Xi Zhao station. Shopping mall is just right beside and many choices for different types of food! Will definitely come back to this hotel again!
