The hotel offers a spacious property with many rooms, and I was pleased to find an outdoor lap pool and a well-equipped gym that provided opportunities for relaxation and fitness during my stay. The breakfast at the hotel was outstanding, with a wide variety of delicious options. The service staff at the breakfast restaurant was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. As someone who appreciates vintage aesthetics, I was charmed by the old-world elegance of the hotel. While some may perceive the room as slightly old, I found it to be part of the hotel's vintage charm, adding to the overall character of the property. The best hotel I have ever stayed for the price I paid”
The room is super huge and love the vintage feel. Too bad that I only stayed for 1 night and my hubby wanted to walk around the city hence we hardly stayed in the room to appreciate. The bed was comfortable, aircon is centralised so the room was still cold when we came back from outside. Love the breakfast range too and we got to try the local food which we didn't see for the other day in Indonesia. The western section was acceptable. It will be good if the name of the local food (which is in Bahasa Indonesia) with brief descriptions so we know what the food was made of. If got a chance to come back again, will probably stay here again for at least 2 nights.

Historical Hotel”
One of the best hotel in Surabaya. Went here for only a night and everything was beautiful. The architecture, rooms, and also the services. I was blown away how well kept this hotel is, especially the ballroom area. The glass deco is just beautiful! You can see from the original pictures they hang in front of the ballroom. Our room located pretty secluded, but I think every room has their own balcony looking to the garden. Which is nice! Ah, since it was quiet secluded, the room was a little bit damp. The receptionist staff could be more friendly towards local guests tho, they somewhat gave different treatment especially to foreign guests.

The most comfortable sleep we had in 10 days”
We had been travelling around Surabaya for the past 10 days. Switching between hotels and air bnbs. Majapahit was our last stop. Not only was every one in awe with the beauty of the hotel and asking to spend more time here. (Unfortunately we couldnt). Arrived late and had an early flight. We all agreed we had the best sleep in 10 days. The bed was sooo comfy. Wished we could had stayed longer. Hope we could return again 1 day to properly enjoy it.

Hotel room is generally clean, nice garden lawn and balcony to sit and chill! Good place for photos too. As the building is old, the hotel facade/interior (common corridors etc.) does seem to need a bit of renovation/revitalisation..

Historical Hotel Majapahit”
One of the historic hotels in Surabaya. A hotel with the nuances of the Dutch era in Indonesia. At the entrance, you are greeted with old paintings and ornaments. Enter the cool and beautiful hallway. Entering the room, you can see furniture made of wood, soft sofas with the feel of the past. Soft bed, clean bathroom, clean bathtub, complete toiletries too. If the night comes, you can enjoy the nuances of the night on Jalan Tunjungan.

We checked in late and had to leave early. Kids were lamenting of not having sufficient time here as they really love it. We also had our best sleep during the 10 days in Surabaya. Even chanced upon a car free day at check out. Wish to properly experience this hotel again.

Strategic Location, Great Service and Absolutely Beautiful”
This has got to be one of my favourite luxury hotels thus far. Great customer service, and absolutely clean hotel, and it sits only few km away from Tunjungan Plaza, and there are cafes just across the street. Famed for their stunning architecture, the hotel has her own stories to tell.

The hotel design so nice, beautiful and historical. The location also great in which walking distance to the mall. The room service food also delicious and all the staffs working here are so friendly, helpful and very polite. As these was my first time staying in this hotel and also first time in Surabaya, the hotel receptionist upgraded my room from Classic King Room to Heritage Suite King Room.

Exceptional”
This is one beautiful hotel!!! Love the gardens, very courteous and helpful staff; great service, lots of variety food in breakfast buffet, and oh fresh baked bakery. But It seemed to be lacking employees in Spa; couldn’t get service as scheduled due to late masseuse and or not enough staff working. Had to get massage outside of the hotel. But overall, it was great stay. Highly recommended, and I will stay there again whenever I come back to Surabaya.
