"Overall it was a wonderful stay. It is near Barelang bridge and we had great view of it outside our room. Shuttle bus is provided to Batam center. Room is clean & spacious. Pleasantly entertained by talented staff dancing to upbeat songs during breakfast at cafe. Breakfast was a wide spread of local delights and western food. Kids enjoyed water play & swimming. Kid club is more for preschooler kids, my older kids enjoyed playing there nevertheless 😊. There is not much near this resort only heard the seafood restaurant nearby is good but we did not venture out to try. From the photos exhibit at the resort, there is also a kelong/fishing village near the resort. Our kids were just disappointed that they could not find any seashell at the beach but collected some nice pebble stones instead. 😂"

"Sky Inn Hotel would be best for people to have peace in mind and also people who loves photography as there is a calm environment. The room can be better if they fix up the wear and tear of the wall and clean up the stains which is on the wall. Staff are very friendly! They helped me upon my request without any single hassle! Sky Inn Hotel is not too much to shopping district and abit far from the ferry terminal. If people who likes to shop would be best if they own a vehicle which makes easy for travelling. When breakfast starts at 7am and I went down at 7.30am, breakfast was almost finished but they have a second serving. Would be best if they have more food available other than fried rice. Overall I would still rate this hotel a 60% pleasant stay. "

"This is in Batu Aji, which is far from the shopping areas, but we booked it as it was near to the location of a wedding we were attending. Fame Hotel was newish when we stayed, and it has a nice theme and decor. The breakfast spread when we stayed there was AMAZING (though I heard that it has dropped in selection and standard)! Honestly, it had the best breakfast out of all the Batam hotels I have ever stayed at (and I have stayed at lots as I have been going to Batam for years). The rooms itself were small and upon entry, all the rooms had a very strong musty and sewer-like smell. Some rooms had no windows and we had to open the doors for a while to let the smell dissipate. Hotel staff also came by to give the rooms a spray of air-freshener. There was no wardrobe, which luckily for us we were fine with as we were there for only one night. Room service food was delicious. I will probably stay here one more time just to try out to see if the breakfast standard had indeed dropped. If it has, I will not stay here again after that. The staff were very lovely though. Thank you. "
