Hotels near Fantasy Massage

The recommend throughout clean and tidy. The staff is extremly friendly and very helpful with advice on the island, organising motorbike, trips and tickets for ferry etc. There are free snorkling masks and they gave us suncream which was a leftover from previous guests. I loved the clean swimming pool for swimming a couple of rounds or just to cool down after a hot day. The hotel is located not far from the beach. To walk into town, I recommend not to do it during the day as it's too hot but it's fine for the evening as it's a longer walk. Otherwise ask the hotel to drive you (THB 50 per person). Our bedroom was comfortable and had an aircon, TV (which worked,not like in other places before), fridge and a hairdryer. The bed was firm but still ok for us (Asian style but better than other places). You can buy food and drinks from the restaurant. We had breakfast and it was good. Certainly there might be cheaper places around. There is a laundry shop just outside the hotel which is cheap (THB 39 per kilo) and our washing was clean and ironed in one day. There are 2 × 7/11 shops, one when you turn left and the other one when you turn right (closer). We rented a motorbike and most roads are in very good conditions, only a couple are good dirt roads which are in more remote locations. We didn't find snorkling very appealing but they have a couple of beautiful sandy beaches. Also there is the Siam Healing Centre only a couple of meters from the hotel (turn right) which offers yoga and other classes. Also Thai massage and healing sessions. Overall we would definitely stay here again.

This was the best hotel I stayed at in Thong Sala. 10 min from the pier on foot, easy to find thanks to the directions they sent with my confirmation. Good location, central but not quite in the rowdy backpacker district. And the place is gorgeous for what you pay (690 on a good day). The building has terraces and balconies like a Spanish hacienda. The foyer has all the glass and marble and potted plants you'd expect of a much fancier place. (The foyer also had the requisite prostitute, but she looked like a fairly quiet and kindly one.) The desk staff was a couple of motherly ladies who immediately took on an aunty roles for me, calling me a nickname and checking in on me whenever I came in at night. The room is good, too - very clean, nice bland decorations, big TV, fridge, free water bottles. My room had windows on two sides and a small balcony. The aircon and wifi worked great. Only problem I could find were slightly dated bathroom fixtures.

Staff, Customer Service, Ethics & Professionalism: The service was excellent in the hotel. Anything you needed help with, they could assist you. 100% with smile & honesty. The staff were extremely friendly, lovely and very helpful. The best part is after a night of New Year Eve celebration and we had been inside of the room most of the day resting. The owner (A beautiful lady by the name of Miss First) approached us at night by mentioning our names and asking us if we are okay. Such a kind gesture and an instant mood lifter! We've been assist to checked in early and its depending to the rooms availability. Fantastic First & Frang Hotel Staff Deserve a Medal: 1. Miss First (Probably the boss). 2. Miss Aey. 3. P.. (The only guy stay next to the kitchen). 4. All the front desk staff (Male & Female, day & night). 5. All the housekeeping team (4 to 5 ladies, short & long hair). 6. The guy who is managing the minimart. You guys made this hotel become 1 of the most lovely place in Phangan

Baan Busaba is a nice clean hotel, the receptionist verified our agoda booking while the staff helped us with our luggage so we didn't have to lug it up the stairs. There are not many stairs but the first flight into the hotel may be a doozy depending how much you've packed. I appreciated the help. The rooms were a nice size and the AC was always great for a refreshing break from the sun. There is a good sized pool out behind the hotel, but it's located next to a natural water source that can sometimes have a bit of a funny smell, but for the price we were paying, the pool was a great reprieve from the heat and was a bonus on top of the comfy room. We slept just fine, and there were less mosquitos in this hotel then our previous ones in the Haad yao area which was nice. The wifi signal was pretty weak in our rooms, but if you stepped outside your room there was some nice wooden seating that overlooked the pool, so I would usually just chill out there if I had some internet stuff to do. The location was great for us, close to Thongsala which had a little food court and a few restaurants, all at great prices, to visit. If you need to rent a scooter you can do that in the Thongsala area as well. A fun night market with concert shows was going on while we were there, which felt like a much more authentic thai experience! The biggest downside of the hotel was that there was no shower curtain around the edge of the tub, so the water would always get everywhere and our bathroom floor was always soaked. If you have a cheap pair of flip flips they're good to have on hand when using the bathroom, just so you don't slip or have to get your feet wet all the time. Other than that we had a great sleep and really enjoyed the cleanliness and location. If you need to take the ferry out the next day or are arriving late at night and want a close place to stay, Baan Busaba should fit the bill.

Our stay at Angkana was really amazing. The bungalows are perfectly designed, right by the beach, and the atmosphere is very relaxing and peaceful even when the place is full. You really feel alone on a private island! The location is great, in the middle of everything and Florence can book a scooter for you at a very cheap price in order to get around the island. Florence and Mathias are very friendly people who will do everything they can to help you out (advice on the best restaurants of the island, best parties, best beaches, lending snorkeling equipment, etc...) and make your stay at Angkana unforgettable. We spent two days at Tropicana Resort, and we really enjoyed our stay. We got an ocean view bungalow which had a huge fan over our bed, and also an air-conditioner, but actulally most of the time the fan was more than enough. The sea was literally 10 meters away from our doorstep, we could hear the waves from our room at night. There is also a hammock on the terrace in which I really enjoyed reading right next to the ocean. You can rent a scooter too from the owner, he offered us a deal for two days, and the scooter was in great condition. He also was very helpful recommending great places to eat, and helped us with any questions we had. If you are looking for a relaxing time to spend on Koh Phangan or a great location close to the Pier and the night market from where you can easily explore the rest of the island, then I highly recommend you to try Tropicana Resort, and go for the ocean/beach view bungalows.
