This hotel was perfect for our needs. Value for money, staff were helpful. Clean and comfortable. The only downside was very little English is spoken. You need to have your own English map and guide book.

Firstly, don't let the name deceive. From my maps I thought the hotel was in fact close to Beijing South Station. It's not though. Walking distance to xianamen square, pearl markets, and other kand arks and attractions. Metro station just outside the hotel. Excellent food options abundant near by. Front counter staff speed run off their feet or inexperienced. Difficult to get a taxi. Woul stay there again.
Overall good stay and the location is great. The hotel should enforce strict no smoking rule (at least for few floors designated as no smoking) as there's overwhelming smoke smell through the bathroom vent. Staff did kindly arrange for another room but guessing that the vent are interconnected, it helps only a little.
