"We were pleasantly surprised by the comfort and cleanliness of this hotel. We had no issues with anything during our entire stay. There was a definite language barrier, as the staff (including front desk) did not speak English, but this was to be expected per other reviews and our entire experience in Beijing. It didn’t prove to be an issue, as we expected it and found we had to use a translator app nearly everywhere if we had questions that couldn’t be solved by pointing or gesturing :) The hotel was very clean, and our room was cleaned daily. The air conditioning worked well, the bed was the best we have slept on in Asia and was super comfy, and we appreciated the amenities left daily (slippers, toothbrushes, clean towels). Great location as the metro was only a few minutes walk and could take us anywhere in the city. Highly recommend!"

"Overall good stay and the location is great. The hotel should enforce strict no smoking rule (at least for few floors designated as no smoking) as there's overwhelming smoke smell through the bathroom vent. Staff did kindly arrange for another room but guessing that the vent are interconnected, it helps only a little."
