"Good location, near the entrance of the Taroko National Park and the bus stops. Liwu Hotel is old but well-kept. It bears with it a character so warm and familial, it made our stay relaxing and restful. It seems the hotel is family-run---based on the reviews I read. The staff speak little English but they were able to anticipate and help us with our concerns. We ate all our breakfasts and dinners at the hotel, and we always looked forward to the very tasty beef noodles after a day of hiking; all the meals were tasty and well prepared. The free buffet breakfast that came with the booking was ample and filling. If I ever go back to Taroko, I would stay at Liwu Hotel again. "

"Indeed, the hotel is beyong our expectation. everything is fine. great location. breakfast is simple, but good. they provide the firm mattress we like it. we had a great night. the only thing to mention and hoping they would improve is the sticky feel of the floor. dont get me wrong. the room is clean, i believe the sticky feeling left to the floor is due to the detergent residue. they should wipe it one or two more times to get rid of the detergent residue. other than that, the hotel is really great."

" The hosts (Pastor Dai & Hana) had great hospitality and took care of us so well. We stayed there 3 nights. We arrived on a rainy evening that we had no clue where we could find restaurant nearby. Hana & Pastor Dai offered us their homemade leftover dinner We were so thankful. Then Hana helped us to plan the 3 days itinerary to Taroko National Park 太魯閣 by bus 302. It was a wonderful stay. The hosts are Taroko native. We were offered with good breakfast & special mulberry tea, as well as Taroka dress to take pictures. Pastor Dai also gave us a ride to Coastal Cliff 清水斷崖 on our last day. We will stay here again for our future visit to Taroko. Thank you Hana - Pastor. "
