Hotels near Sirivej Hospital

We only intended to stay a few days here but after the first day we booked the next 10 days. I have traveled throughout the entire country of Thailand many years. This is the best hotel experience I have ever had by far. The hotel is new. Rooms are are clean, beautifully styled and spacious. Awesome shower ! We loved waking up to the river right outside the balcony and enjoyed the quiet surroundings. Great breakfast and restaurant. I simply cannot say enough about the employees. Everyone from the housekeepers to the front desk were more than friendly, attentive and professional. The manager went above and beyond to make sure the guests needs were met and were happy. With genuine concern he would walk around from morning to night speaking to every guest asking how they were and if they needed anything. We left feeling like family instead of guests. Look no further than this hotel !

I was trying to book this hotel since last year. Sadly I didn’t make it happen. The hotel is very clean and new, I love the way this hotel try to distinguish from other hotel in Chanthaburi, an art space could represent a new era of the hotel running by the new age of local people. I love the way this hotel present its nature and environment, good luck for us we been there in a rainy day which we really love it.

Only about 1km from the bus terminal, the hotel is well-situated and comfortable. The corridors to the rooms are open and pleasantly shaded by climbing plants. There are sparrows flitting about every morning and they can be a little noisy when in large numbers, but they are fun to watch and relatively non-intrusive. As the corridors are open, it's best to close the room doors quickly to prevent mosquitoes from coming in. Though there weren't many, we encountered one or two every now and then. Not unusual for a hotel so close to a river, of course. The room itself is spacious and comfortable, with a heavy table for writing and a comfortable chair to lean back in. There is a restaurant just beside the hotel that serves authentic local dishes and a noodle shop just a short 2-minute walk down the road that has excellent noodles. 7-Eleven is a bit more of a walk, past the post office, but it is along a road covered in street food stalls. Overall, highly recommended!

If you need to "get out of the city"; this is a very appropriate place. Quiet and very relaxing. But you really need to come with your own car as there is no nearby places to eat that are walking distance (nearest is a very nice old Thai style restaurant that is about 800 m walk). But the staff were really very kind and helpful (super excellent) as they were the the ones who drove us nightly near the Cathedral, which during the time of our stay, was having a food fair in celebration of Christmas. We suggested to the hotel that they should at least have an in-house tuktuk; like the hotels in Chiang Mai and other tourist-popular provinces. Chantaburi does not have much foreign tourists, ONE reason why we LIKE it!

We elected to stay there for the night on our way to Koh Chang. Centrally located, easy to access and park this seemed like the right call. While this place has seen better days and could use a revamp of fresh TLC, you can't complain as the rates are decents. Best to book on Agoda or Booking as they have the best rates. Also do note the hotel won't match Agoda's or Booking rates which is pretty dumb is you ask me. Hotel rates were on average 10 $ more. The room itself is your standard older 4 ish stars. It has some decent beds, the bathroom is your typical American kind. Shower is very powerful, i loved it. Amenities are basic but sufficient. I would have wished for a stocked up minibar rather than an empty mini fridge. Tv is ok, but all the English channels are in Thai. All they need to do is select the correct audio, but that might be too much to ask. Hotel is clean. View is great. I am posting a few pictures toguether with this report. Came in to Chanthaburi for a very quick one night (24hrs) to meet some local friends. The only hotel I know that suits me is Tamajun Hotel. Same glorious view of the Chanthaburi river with the entire stretch of the Chanthaburi waterfront community at my doorstep. Wake up in the morning to have fresh hot breakfast from the many stalls selling local handmade, homemade delights. Sweets, treats or the whole meal. At night, whet your appetite as you walk past Steak In Time with fresh and hot BBQ chicken, pork or beef. If you prefer Thai food, many options are available from traditional to fusion. Coffee is best had at CAP. The baristas there will glady help you make your choice with the many blends and flavours available. At Tamajun, wine and dine the night away with a band that entertains with live music, music any way you want as they take requests if you rather hear a song you like. The main market is within walking distance and if you are coming to/fro the Chanthaburi bus station (from Bangkok, or Suvarnabhumi), your walk is approx 15-20mins. Stay for a night, or longer at Tamajun. Be greeted and served by very willing and friendly staff who do their very best to make your stay most memorable.

very value for money at this price range (about 500-600 baht). similar quality hotels in the area would probably be 40-80% more. New and clean, with fresh and thick towels, clean sheets, big pillows, good wifi, strong water pressure in shower. All you need really for a night's stay. no breakfast provided but they provide free hot water, coffee, chocolate, instant cup noodles and porridge in the lobby. Bed is a little hard, but nothing too negative. Must have own transport, slightly out of the city centre, but lesser to drive when going out of the city to explore. They only allow (paid) extension of 1 & 2 hours for check out, no half day. Any more and will be considered a full day's payment. Which is a pity to me as all we wanted was a shower as we left chanthaburi in the evening. Just a note. Will surely stay here again if in the area.

This place is for those looking for a place with air-conditioning to sleep next to river. It is very easy to get to I walked with backpack from bus terminal. The second floor port to river is worth the visit. The staff is friendly, I had two nights and ended staying two more. The rooms are basic with tv , mirror , restroom clean. The negative side of it is walking up the stairs. No elevator so make sure you Change room lower floors, but my room 5th floor was good for me. The free coffee is a plus in lobby , there are good eateries and friendly small shop across the hotel with Chang and other treats. I would stay here again for no luxury cheap chanthaburi stay.

Just like I read in the reviews it's a very pleasant hotel with a friendly staff and manager. The manager speaks some English and is very helpful. Check-in was efficient and check out was just a key drop. The room is large and very clean with good aircon and so quiet, day and night! It's located about 2 km from the bus station and the start of the old street and less than a 15 min walk to a Tesco Lotus with a supermarket, many stores and a food court. There doesn't seem to be a restaurant so no breakfast is served but you can enjoy free coffee. There are some small local restaurants nearby. There is no English name on the hotel, the first time I walked right past it!

The hotel is really good building , big hotel. Is missing some things important things like breakfast . ( no breakfast ) no coffee ) nothing you can buy in hotel for to eat Buy i have find the room clean and good in the ground floor. If the owners will give attention for this hotel they can make him really much more important. I like to say the true, the hotel big also rooms large , everythings ok. Just need more workers and more programs potions( but the hotel is ok

This is an older hotel, but it is kept quite clean. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful, as are the restaurant staff. Good location, easy parking, good breakfast buffet included with my room. My room had twin beds; due to my height I prefer a double or queen size bed, but there weren't any available on the holiday weekend I stayed there. I would go back to this hotel.

Had a good stay but it is important to realize this is a very Thai style hotel. That means the beds are hard as rocks but normal for Thais. It means the air conditioner is drastically under powered but normal for Thais. The room design is large but poorly laid out. As a one bedroom unit, only the small bedroom is air conditioned. The rest of the room is not. The signs ask that you do not open windows, do not move furniture, do not leave the lights on etc. Perhaps the owners have had problem guests in the past abusing things a bit. Pretty structured. :) This is a basic hotel as I said but there is a small restaurant in the lower level open till 8PM and run by two local sisters. The cooking is basic and slow but it is better than getting in the car to go to a restaurant. There are no conveniences around the hotel but you do get a quiet peaceful environment in return. Tough to have both. The hosts are very warm and hospitable. They speak good English and know where to go and what to see when in Chantaburi. A big asset. Also, it is a 100% non-smoking hotel which was great for me.
