Find hotels near Huangpu District in Guangzhou, China

We stayed in suite room and everything was good. It was for only 2 nights at the end of our trip and if this was the only place we stayed, maybe too tired and exhasted ato access to the city center all the time(before we moved here, stayed at Sheratone). Anyway, we absolutely would return next time and recommend everyone who mind travelling quite longer time with better facilitiea on reasonable price.

We stayed at this hotel when we visited to Canton fair. It was quite convenient because the hotel provided shuttle bus to fair and back. The hotel is situated in quiet green area and in our view it is the best place for rest (recreation) after noisy crowded city. Also swimming pool and inner garden are excellent. Nice breakfast and very tasty cocktails in lobby bar. There was only one thing which upset us : we had booked our room by agoda.com and we had payed requested price but when we arrived at the hotel, manager said we should pay more. Didn't understand why it happend.

Hotel is located in the Science Park of Guangzhou. Area is clean and well taken care of. Check in was a breeze and the lady at the Front Desk is most helpful. I should have taken down her name but I forgot. She not only provide information on how to get to the nearest mall, she is also able to list the eateries there. She also help to arrange for a vehicle to the hotel and assisted in negotiation down the price for me. When I forgot to take the hotel receipt, she email it to me immediately when I call up. I will return to the hotel just because of this excellent service as you know that help is around the corner if needed. Breakfast is average and the room is decent size and relatively clean. Will definitely stay here if I am in Guangzhou.

I would stay at this hotel if it's just for business purposes. if it's for leisure, it's not recommended to stay at this hotel. - Hotel is just opposite Wanda plaza - a shopping mall where you can find supermarket, restaurants, and shopping for clothes or accessories. (international brands include H&M, Uniqlo, starbucks, Macdonalds, Pizzahut) - Hotel is near a MRT station. Other than that, no other facilities are near. - Hotel is about an hour drive to GZ Baiyun Airport and 40mins to city area. - Hotel rooms are big, comfy but amenities are not as functionable. (Balcony door couldn't be locked, mosquitoes/flies may enter hotel room, toilet flush is not as strong so your toilet bowl gets stuck sometimes, shower water may suddenly drip in the middle of the night, and also i experienced power trip for 3 times on my last night of stay) - Room key always don't work and you have to go down to the lobby again to reactivate. - Staffs can tell you to book your own taxi when you ask them to help you call a cab. - Breakfast is inadequate. Food variety is extremely little and not worth it to wake up for breakfast. Other than that, WIFI is still comparatively workable, and room is quiet is you choose the one that face the opposite side of Wanda plaza.

We booked a one king bed room and we got a nice and big two singles bed room with a window to the front of the building facade. Unfortunately we changed our room for one little King's bed room with a window to the back of the building that was very very but very noisey because of a lot ac machine systems. The staff was nice and helpful. The hotel is very close to the metro station but the metro station is far from the city. If you have time it's a good place.

Great hotel. I love it and recommend it to my friends. Very clean room and well designed. It has urban area from GuangZhou down town but close to Subway. The subway can access to down town area which you want to see. In addition go back to Airport. It takes a round 40minutes by subway train. Price is only RMB $8. Very cheap. To access to subway station form hotel, you can walk or take taxi. Walking hour is 10minutes only and can enjoy side-sight. Close to big market and you can look at China traditional market. In addition you can enjoy traditional China food as well. Hotel price is very reasonable. Next time trip, I always choose this hotel. Anyhow, I have enjoyed this time trip at Cedar hotel.

If you are looking for a clean bed and basic facilities, this more than meets the requirement for a night halt. The room was large and clean, and bed was very comfortable, the Bathroom was clean (so were the towels) and the Hot Water in bathroom, Kettle TV (nearly all Chinese channels, except one or two rare ones in English), AC etc. worked well. No complaints there. The Hotel does not offer breakfast (though on Agoda it is listed with breakfast), but there are at least 4-6 restaurants (nearly all local Chinese restaurant) all around this hotel, including some right next doors, so the hotel need not offer breakfast / food. You can just step out and have it. There are also plenty of general stores / shops around to buy anything you need. The staff spoke sufficient English to manage things, and were generally very helpful.

i was greatly satisfied with the hotel especially the service of the hotel staff who were very friendly and went out of their way to assist us in every way. they tried their best to translate into english some places for our destinations. also gave directions of the said places and some advice. we enjoyed the hotel and have comfortable stay. seemed the other guests regularly stayed in this hotel whenever they were in guanzhou.

We stayed here because our business meetings were nearby. The hotel is modern and comfortable with great space in the room and bathroom. It was a joy to stay here with friendly staff! We couldn't speak the local Chinese language and they could not speak much English, but they tried and with Google Translate we had no issues at all. Bed was comfortable and plenty of hot water. The room was very clean. The hotel is about 500m from the metro (10 minute walk) and really easy to find as it is on the corner of a big intersection, but there was no noise from the road thanks to double glazing and insulation. Near the metro is a large Walmart and you can get KFC or a wide range of local cuisine within the area. It was a pleasure to stay there and I will without hesitation recommend it and be staying there again.
