The location and hotel are just as expected and more. Bora Bora is a true paradise. The hotel resort is well designed, bungalows are spacious and quality oriented. The main issue that we had was the absolute poor quality of the food. For a 5* resort which can easily charge 3-4-5000$/night, it’s unacceptable to offer such a tasteless and basic food. You have an abundance of pastries, varieties of bread and sweet bread, potatoes and other high carb cheap food. The grilled fish had no taste, the burger and pasta I ordered was the same and even the breakfast omelette wasn’t the best. The staff was nice enough and hotel facilities were top notch. I would only return here if they will improve the food quality.
We had a wonderful stay at this property. The location was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the crystal clear waters. We especially loved snorkelling in lagoonarium. The breakfast was delicious with French croissants to Polynesian poison cru. However everything here is pricy.. Overall, our stay was amazing, upgraded to the villa with pool. We highly recommend this property for its stunning location.
Only arrived yesterday but feel chilled alreay! Lovely resort with wonderful views of Mount Otemanu. The water villa is good size and love the views from bed when I get up in the morning. Would be prefect if some nice scent in the room. Nonetheless this is a fantastic place to stay. Recommend definitely.
If you specially have IHG Rewards account with higher limit, this is the time for you to use it. They upgraded us a bigger villa. It was another unforgettable experience for us. Another good thing about this property, they twin bed configuration. If you traveling with your friend, you can enjoy your holiday without being disturbed.

“The best accommodation I stayed at in Bora Bora.”
On the right side of the lagoon in Bora Bora, there are many impressive hotels, including St. Regis, Four Seasons, and Le Méridien (currently being remodeled?). The vibe of the three accommodations might be similar, but the other two are too expensive, so I stayed at the Intercontinental. However, it’s not like this place is cheap either; I paid the highest accommodation fee of my life here. I later found out that staying at Intercontinental Le Moana and this hotel would be nice for convenient shuttle boat transportation if you enjoy staying at multiple accommodations. First of all, this was the best hotel I stayed at during my trip to Tahiti Bora Bora. Comparing it with Le Moana, each has its characteristics, but I felt that this place had slightly more advantages. Firstly, since this accommodation was built more recently than Le Moana, the rooms are wider and more modern. The air conditioning and fan worked well, allowing for good temperature control, and the rooms are well-separated by purpose, so there was no lack of space. The interior has solid walls instead of wood, providing a bit more stability, and there’s a Bluetooth speaker inside, making it easy to connect and listen to music via AirPlay from my iPhone. You can use the bathtub while looking at the sea, but I couldn't use it this time due to lack of time. The shower room is also very useful since it has water outlets above and two shower heads that can be used simultaneously. For transportation when going to and from the airport, the only option seems to be the boat provided by the accommodation. The price is around 100,000 won per person one way, but you can find the exact price through Google search. The price is high, but it offers convenient airport accommodation transfers. It is said that the accommodation offers a package to the main island with Le Moana + shuttle, but although the price isn't cheap, it can be useful when going shopping or for events in Vaitape. By the way, I heard there are a few decent places in Bora Bora, but I bought black pearls at Tahiti Pearl Market near the market in Tahiti, which had a kind staff and a wide variety. When taking tours or the airport shuttle with Le Moana, you need to move to a private dock to board, and the staff always kindly moves your luggage. Since the accommodation is large and extends two paths, it has a decent scale, and therefore the hotel facilities are also somewhat more extensive. Still, there are enough facilities to use without crowding compared to the number of guests. There are events every lunch, and on my checkout day, there was a bag-making experience that I enjoyed very much. I recommend participating if you have the time. You can also rent canoes and paddleboards, and there’s a warm swimming pool, and the lagoonarium has many fish, which is great. The spa looked nice, but it was too expensive for me to use. A male staff member at the pool kindly helped with canoeing and rentals; when I was late for the bag-making class, he quickly helped me make a bag, and I was very grateful! Thanks to that, I could create another wonderful memory. Also, Mount Otemanu looks the most magnificent from this accommodation. Even when circling the island, there was no other direction where it looked as grand, pointed, and beautiful. The sunset sets in the direction of the mountain, and it was incredibly beautiful every time I saw it. Compared to Le Moana, the breeze is lighter here, so it felt better to be on the terrace or walk around inside the accommodation. Breakfast is provided in a beautifully designed space, and they light black incense to keep insects away, but sometimes insects do come during meals. There are many meal options, especially tuna dishes, and since it’s a French territory, there are many types of bread that taste good. The desserts were also decent. The iced coffee was too weak and not very good. At three restaurants designated for specific days, there was a lobsta day BBQ day where only one menu could be ordered, and although I couldn’t afford the lobster, the BBQ looked good, so we ordered one menu for two people, and it was delicious. There are occasional evening performances, which were okay. Overall, most aspects of the accommodation were nice, but there were a few downsides. Maybe because there were many staff, some Caucasian gentlemen were a bit less friendly or unfriendly. Perhaps it's because of the number of people. Still, most greeted nicely with "Yorona~" while passing by and were friendly. Sometimes, they would take me to my destination if there was an empty cart. Another downside was that I was too busy to snorkel in front of the hotel, but it seems that there are not many fish in the water space right below the guest room. The water depth also seems to be about 180 cm deep
