"Booked Modena for my last night after coming back from Zhangjiajie and could not be more pleased. Hotel is connected to a big mall which was great since it rained heavily so we were thoroughly entertained despite never leaving the building. Rooms were nice and clean with all the amenities you would need. Bed and pillows were comfortable, a big problem when I had to get up early the next day :) Would like to commend the staff for their service. I had initially booked the room with free breakfast but ended up having to take the earlier train out which meant missing breakfast. The staff very kindly booked a taxi for us and phoned our room to let us know, and even packed a simple breakfast for us! Small gesture but made me very impressed! Highly recommend, a pity I only stayed 1 night. "

"This was one of my best stays on many trips in China. Check in took a little long but staff was very friendly and the room more than made up for it. Had a good view from the room, bed was very comfortable and there was a bathtub in the bathroom. Hands down best gym I have ever seen in a hotel, well equipped and big with a swimming pool. Staff is very well trained. Great location, close to walking street and well connected to public transport to go pretty much anywhere like the university, Mount Lu and the railway station. Didn't try their breakfast since there's so much food to try in Changsha. Had a fantastic stay."
