Good hotel ,excellent staff”
We stayed two nights at Kerry Hotel (Shangri La) to be able to see the ambiance of Beijing Business District. We spent three nights at city center near Forbidden City. It was connected to Kerry Center and China world Tower . Our room was spacious and well maintained , mini bar was free of charge. Breakfast was superb. Staff was extremely kind and helpful. We were a bit hurried when we checked out , as we couldn't have made the online check in for the local airline. Director of Rooms Chew Sheau Jing ran after us and asked if she could do something for us. Then she called the hotel personnel at the airport to pick us up .when we arrived the airport , he was waiting for us. He told us that our flight was delayed . ( no time mentioned) He took us to the company's ticket office ,changed the tickets ( without any fee) Then he took us to a private gate ( no queue) . We could have no chance to fly on time if he was not there . Thanks

Easily the best hotel IN PEK”
Good staff are par for the course at good hotels - so nothing to add there. Most importantly is the overall vibe and feeling of the of the hotel: Its cool and luxurious without falling into the trap of trying to hard that so many other hotels have. Its understated, "Stealth Wealth" kind of a hotel. For CBD hotels, this is the best. Park Hyatt is nice - but you pay top dollar; The Kerry Hotel is now my default location when in Beijing, period.

Shangri-La Kerry Centre”
This is already the third time that i have stayed in the Kerry Centre hotel. The standard is absolutely excellent. Rooms are what you expect from a Shangri-La property. In room dining is good as well. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Currently (June 2011) the hotel is renovating the lobby and the horizon club. Fortunately there is very little noise and alternative facilities are available. When visiting Beijing next time i will sure seriously consider to come back once more.

This hotel is an excellent value for a 5 star hotel in CBD in Beijing. It is close to the Kerry Center and the CCTV building which may be the most unique business building in the world. I really like staying at this hotel when in Beijing. Good value, great breakfast and the right location make it all very convenient.

Pleasant atmosphere with impeccable service”
One of the best business hotels in the Beijing Chaoyang CBD with reasonable price. The rooms are newly renovated with a touch of modern elegance yet cozy comfortable. I especially enjoy the pleasant attitude from all levels of staff, which puts a smile on my face every time I walk out of the hotel. PS. a small setback is the hotel south facade is under construction. the noise is a bit bothersome during daytime.

Stayed in a room with executive access. Room was good if not a little dated in terms of decor. Exec club wasn't as generous as other Beijing hotels (Sofitel, Hilton, Westin)...it had fruit and basic snacks and local beer and heiniken, tea and coffee available all day but wines spirits were only available for a limited time in the evening which I found surprising. Other exec lounges have this all day along with promo's like afternoon tea etc. They had hot snacks available in the evening but these were repetitive and they had no 'specials'...it was the same stuff every night. The facilities were great for families; good toddler swimming pool and good sized adult pool (although lifeguards were useless at maintaining this area and I observed adult swimmers getting frustrated, and rightly so, by some families letting their children mess around in the lanes designated for lane swimming). Breakfast was extremely busy and not particularly well managed. There was a good spread but chaotic!

If you need to do business and meet people in the CBD in Beijing this is it. Unbeatable location, excellent value for money with the irrepressibly courteous and efficient Shangri-La treatment - and the girls at the Bento & Berries deli are absolutely lovely; perfect place for a quick bite between meetings. And if you wanna rock through the early morning Centro is open all night.

overall is very nice, we stayed most of the time in the hotel because of the conference at China World Summit. Their Kerry Sport Centre is fantastic!!! spent a lot of time there excersing and swimming.

Excellent Service”
The hotel is conveniently located next to Kerry Mall which has a few wonderful restaurants. Across the road, one can also walk to China Tower Mall easily for more shopping. However, I must comment that the staff here provides excellent service and is always willing to assist in my queries. They even helped to provide advice on restaurants and transportation. Wonderful staff!

We were here as a couples trip for sightseeing near Beijing. The hotel was beautiful, very clean amd some of the nicest staff we have had anywhere in the world. Good food for any of your meals during the day and a nice bar/ club at night with live music to finish off your day. A must stay!

Great hotel, lives up to international standards”
Stayed at the Kerry for 4nts to attend a biz conference. Comfortable rooms and great staff. Couldn't really fault it. Very close to Tiananmen Sq and the Forbidden City (on the same line on the metro I think, although I never attempted the trip). Would stay again. Good selection for buffet lunch and breakfast; room service delivered within 30mins of putting in order (ordered twice) and was told by a colleague that the swimming pool was very nice!

Good experience except for Centro bar hostess”
Room was great. Bed super large and comfortable. Bathroom condition and free bottles of water was really convenient. The check in experience had great staff service. Breakfast at the hotel cafe was very good. Gym was a little bit of a hike and had ran out of water, but equipments were good. We went to the hotel bar Centro the night of my stay, and the hostess initially did not want us to go even to just grab a drink by the bar. I told her I was going to just get a glass of wine and stand it's fine, but she told me there was no space. I walked in and there was plenty of space.

Overpriced business hotel with rude staff ”
Overpriced hotel mostly for business travelers who claim the business expenses. Staff were slow, rude and only treats expats with a smile, terrible English speaking and not helpful at all when one tries to fetch a cab. Room was in very good condition with in-room facilities top notch, as expected from Kerry Group, still, over priced. Good breakfast options, lounge facilties were sufficient.

Exceptional”
Fabulous Stay in the Club Room. The room is very well designed, mini bar included in club room. Shower and bath are in separate room within the bathroom so when you get dressed and do your makeup it's not all steamy in the basin/ toilet area. Lovely hot shower with roof rain nozzle option. Breakfast, dinner and snacks provided in club lounge throughout the day. Gym is clean, lots of quality equipment to use. The pool is lovely and clean and good for doing laps. Nice and close to great restaurants on the 5th floor of China World Mall. All good things.
