Great location, amazing food with nice host”
Good location, 10 min walking from the khao sok entrance, amazing food definitely reccomend eating here, wifi only worked in some areas, room was clean but there was a lot of bugs but that is expected when you stay at a bungalow near a national park. Host was so nice, extremely helpful in tour and transportation booking and was able to meet all of our needs. Motorbike rentals are available for 300 baht/day

idyllic stay in the jungle”
We stayed in the 4 bed room which was really clean, no bugs at all. Free pickup from the main road. Best food for good price. Not forced to book tours from them, but we did anyway because the owner is really a nice person and she offered us a better price. Family run resort

Basic bungalow, great location for national park”
Island Resort is located a 5 minute stroll from the town centre and the national park. A great and quiet location. We stayed in a basic bungalow wit ensued, fan room. The bed was big and clean and had a mosquito net (which was needed). Our fan didn't have a speed setting or an off button so we could only turn it off when we switched off the main power to the room. We also had a fairly big bee hive attached to the side of our bungalow under our window which meant we couldn't open that window. It didn't bother us too much to be honest- it was all part of the experience of the location, particularly the visit we received from some cheeky gibbons on our balcony. The owner was very friendly and offered tours for the national park. We didn't eat there as it always seemed to take too long for us to put in an order etc so can't comment on food. Over all good stay to see the NP.

Overall good place but it is away from the main road”
For the money it is worth it, but it located away from the main road. So for transport you will have to depend on the Resort owner. The resort gives complimentary rides only if you book through them. They don't charge you for the night if you book a night tour through them (they will let you keep the room where you can leave your luggage).

Very nice staff Very helpful and no pressure to purchase trekking packages (like most of the hotels and guesthouses in town). Room was very clean and affordable. Food was reasonably priced and very good. Perfect overall!

Good value for money and friendly owner !”
We stayed there 2 nights. Arriving from Koh Phi Phi, the owners sympathy was just a relief. She helped us with all our changes of plans, does amazing food for very good prices. We woke up with the monkeys on our balcony. Was just the calm and relaxing stayed that we wanted. The room is basic but clean, we even had hot water. You can also rent motorbikes from her.

Good value for money. Very good location, close to the National Park entrance and all amenities but quiet. The lady owner is very nice. She was willing to make as breakfast at 5 am as we were leaving the resort early that morning. Definitely recommended.

Jungle location,and wonderful fod”
A very basic room, but absolutely lovely location. We were in the outermost hut, completely in the middle of nature, with monkeys coming up onto our porch in the early morning and the river running just below. The restaurant has great food at very affordable prices; the fruit shakes are a highlight. The massage is also good, and takes place in a bamboo hut where you can hear all the sounds of the rainforest. The place is a family-run business, so you see the same staff all the time, and they are lovely and friendly.

Simple, neat, and clean. The food was the best and the price is what the locals would pay. The place to relax! Kun Rattana was the kindest host. We will be back!

Enjoyable stay”
The bungalow was worth the money. The water was hot. The room is very exposed and the mosquito net had holes in it and smelled musty so we didn't use it. The sink pipe leaked and the bathroom/whole area was quite dirty in general, duct tape over holes in things. But for 400 baht it was worth every penny, we slept well and experienced few bugs with the fan on us. Other places with only a fan on ko phayam have signs of bed bugs and are the same or equally gross for twice the money. If you are going to stay in this style of lodging, don't pay more than 500.

Room was very big for all family, nice breakfast, close to all shops and restaurant and close to gate to park. Staff very nice and friendly. Place so peaceful and quite, so relaxing too.

Good location. Amazing staff”
Really good location just a 10 min walk to the park entrance and the town. Staff was extremely friendly and easy to communicate with. They helped us book tours and transportation which seemed cheaper than everywhere else. Food was cheaper than the restaurants in town but really good so we ate there every night. We stayed in the standard room with fan which was a very basic jungle hut with mosquito net. There wasn't a table or desk in the hut so everything had to be kept on the floor. The family huts looked newer and nicer though. All in all pretty good spot for 2-3 nights

Perfect ”
Very friendly Staff , the lady owner helped even with the transport . The food is cheaper then other places + they have big portions - I loved Tom Yum . The location is perfect, close to the National Park . The Bungalow is big, in the middle of jungle. In the morning, I've seen few monkeys on balcony I really enjoyed my holiday. I highly recommend to everyone

This accommodation was a good value for the money. It was clean and had a good fan. It also had a really good shower with warm water. It was a proper jungle cottage and we felt really close to the nature. Would recommend this to everyone.

Good but basic”
The guesthouse is good has some decent food around the restaurant. The bungalow is nothing special but does the job considering that most people will do a Lake/Hiking tour in the National Park which can easily be arranged by the reception.
