Beautiful rooms but beware of booking problems”
I booked this resort for 5 nights. It is small resort, 5 bungalows only. Only one from them is cheaper and suitable for solo traveler if you don't want to book bigger bungalow all for yourself. Owner mr Bao is very helpful, he will take you to the park on his car and pick up. Hotel is about 3 km from national Khao Sok park. Not on the busy strip with all hotels. So it is quit a walk. But owner will drive you no charge. They also have cafe at hotel and cook delicious food. They do not clean rooms daily. I asked to wipe my balcony after the rain. Stuff did not understand me and only took out garbage. I told owner but nothing happened again.on the3 day I just wiped balcony myself. Also there is small ants in room, very tiny, no harm. However I saw 2 cockroaches. That was not pleasant. Also I wanted to book 2 more nights. Owner checked internet and told me it is available. But next day he told me someone booked that room and he will put me somewhere else. Despite the fact I told him that I want specifically same room. Something else was a old house somewhere at the back property. No balcony, no wifi or any internet. And it's very muddy around after rain so you walk in the slush and mud. And it is raining pretty much every day there. I do not think owner blocked the dates on the booking site after I asked him about 2 more days. So be beware of that if you want to stay longer. Otherwise rooms are nice , comfortable , good balcony. But no place to hang your clothes or even hangers.

Last year my boyfriend and i where here on holiday. The owner has two accomodations in Khao sok. This one, that has no luxery at all, But you should know that before you book. And one of the most luxeres hotels in this area. The funny thing that i did not know was that my parents went at the same time as me to Khao Sok but stayed in the more luxeres hotel from the same owner. Therefore we booked several trips together. I would recommend this lodge to every backpacker who is young and don't have a lot of money to spend. But you should not be affraid for insects,bats or leeches

really nice host and for the price the rooms are ok. Ours was a bit smelly and the mattress a bit hard. We had a lot of rain when we stayed there, maybe this dampenend also our mood during the time in Khao Sok. But we would recoomend the valley lodge if you look for a budget place with a really nice host!
