Absolut recommendation! ”
Eines der besten Resorts in dem wir bisher waren. Der Hotelmanager und seine Frau sind super nett, sehr familiär und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist Top, keine 5 Minuten zum Eingang vom Nationalpark wenn man die Abkürzung nimmt, das Essen ist ausgezeichnet und unser Zimmer war perfekt. Falls wir wieder kommen gehen wir definitv wieder hier in, absolute Empfehlung. One of the best resorts we have been. The hotel manager and his wife are super nice, very familiar and very helpful. The location is great, less than 5 minutes to the entrance of the national park if you take the shortcut, the food is excellent and our room was perfect. If we come back we will definitely go here again, absolute recommendation.

Very nice & helpful couple that run the place”
Close to town through a shortcut. The couple that run it were very helpful and friendly, they offer tours for the national park and can help with any other travel needs, we wanted to get to Koh Phayam and he made some calls and arranged it. Also you can pay on card, with the standard 3% charge for the resort. wifi is only available in the reception/restaurant area. The banana pancake I had for breakfast was bigger than my head and delicious. Being right next to the National park we could hear the gibbons in the evening.

Great Value just off the Main Street ”
Very clean and good value cabin/bungalow room with fan. Friendly staff. Only had breakfast in the restaurant, which was the usual yoghurt cereal fruits. At time of visit "Green" Tea was a Chinese herbal tea. There is a useful short cut to the Main Street through the woods but its s bit difficult to use at night. Need a torch to go the long way by road too as the lights drop out about 150m from the resort.

These are bungalows on a palm tree plantation and there is nothing wrong with this resort. Staff are helpful and excellent. Restaurant has tasty, reasonably priced food.No wifi in the rooms if you require that, but there is wifi at the restaurant.

About 10-15mins walk to the village where most of the shops and restaurants are. Do bring a torchlight as the streets can be quite dim at night. The staffs are really wonderful and friendly.

Cosy Hut”
Very cosy and comfortable hut. Seems a bit far away from the main street, but there‘s a path which leads you there very fast. You should just not be afraid of bugs or spiders. As it is a wooden hut they have no problems to enter. But you have a net over the bed so you can sleep without worries. :-)

Nice family run resort and the restaurant is delicious. The bungalows arent the most aesthetically pleasing inside but we're clean and loved that there were no windows just mosquito nets because you really hear the jungle and feel close to it at night. The location of this resort is at the edge of the town so it is quieter. We woke up to monkeys on our roof :) there is a bit of a walk home at night that can be a bit scary so bring a torch!

The bungalow was so nice, beautiful and comfortable. I stayed in a fan bedroom and It was ok to sleep. Mama the owner is nice and helpful. I bought my transportation to leave the city and a day tour to the Cheow Lan Lake with her after searching in all shops in the town and she had the best deals. Only to eat there I found a bit expensive.

The staff is very amicable and extremely accommodating. They speak quite good English. The rooms need major updating, as there is no air-conditioning, cracks on the walls and doors. It is also far away from the city center and you must take a shuttle to get there, as there is no other way. However, delicious meals at the restaurant!

Could be great camping for few days stay, we arrived at night and left early morning - seems like to far from everything... "Shuttle" we for in the morning to the bu was on a garbage/utility truck... Beware/avoid... Horses in the wood annoying in the morning, but...could be a kicker for others :)

We were given the last chalet at the end of the resort. There are no street light leading to our chalet, it was very dark if you are coming back to your chalet after dinner. The resort is surrounded by oil palm estate.

Friendly, family run hotel”
palmview is an excellent place to stay during your visit to khao sok national park. the bungalows are clean, mosquito net, big beds, hot water, balcony area and surrounded by beautiful gardens. the rooms allow plenty of air to enter the room. the food is excellent, all cooked fresh and plenty of variety. the owners son kong is very helpful throughout our stay, an absolute credit to the resort. the resort is located within quick access to the park entrance, taking about 5 minutes to walk there. it is a little further from the shops but can be reached within 10 minutes. a great place to stay in the heart of the national park.

Excellent Staff”
From Suratthani, there are mini-buses which will take you to Khao Sok, every one hour. From Khao Sok minbus to hotel, transportation is provided by the hotel. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the hotel owner and were directly taken to the room. Cottages are clean and bed was covered with good mosquito net ensuring sound sleep during the night. This hotel is run by the family and they provide various tour options at competitive rates. We opted for one day jungle hike tour, guided by Mr. Kittipon (Manager). He has good knowledge of national park and this one day tour exceeds expectation. Each cottage is provided with hammock and two sitting chairs to relax, with a fire place. Wi-Fi is available at hotel lobby, slow but manageable.

Feels just like home!”
Our stay at Khaosok Palmview was wonderful! As soon as we arrived (after a long journey by bus and night boat) we felt right at home. Had a great welcome at the bus stop, quick check in and we met Mama and Papa, the owners. They made sure our stay was excellent and we had everything we needed - even a late night snack one night after some jungle trecking! The room was cozy with everything we needed. They helped us pick some good tours and gave us good feedback on which one would suit us better. The food at the restaurant was delicious. Local and western cuisine. The location is perfect, just next to the National park. Quiet and peaceful at night and a quick walk to town if you want.

Best hospitality and service you can ask for”
The Palmview resort is ran by Mama Nui and her family. Mama (as she calls herself) was very helpful during our stay. We only booked 1 night there and 2 nights at Our Jungle House (a short walk away), and they even drove us to/from Jungle House to check in and the next morning to get picked up for our tour. Mama's son Gong spoke very good english, and took us on a short walk through their palm tree grove and showed us fruits that we could eat off several trees. The bungalows are small and cozy and the bathroom was just fine. There was a fan in the room, although it cooled off a bit overnight. We booked 2 tours through them, and they not only gave us a discount on one tour, but they gave us free breakfast on the second day we were there. The food is all made by Mama herself and is excellent. The reception and dining area is the living room of their home and it felt like we were part of their extended family the way they cared for us and the other guests. It was a little sad when we had to leave the resort. The best service we experienced on our 16 day trip across thailand, and some of the best service I've ever had regardless of location.

Friendly, relaxed and homey”
Our stay in Khao Sok Palmview Resort was a great stay. On arrival we were warmly welcomed and at departure waved friendly by the people of the resort. "don't forget your Thai family!" It almost felt like you were leaving home. So our stay was very pleasant and relaxed. If there was something to be done you only had to ask and it was arranged for you. We would go right back!
