Great Hotel with Great Staff!!”
We will definitely go back to this hotel when we visit Beijing. The hotel is in the heart of Beijing. Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Beihai Park, Jingshang Park, Wangfujing Street and some other night spots are near to the hotel. The staff were very accommodating and friendly.

Value for money, comfortable stay”
King Parkview Hotel is located near the exit of the Forbidden City. Very nice location, I would say. Near the restaurants and other establishments except for the train station which is less than a mile away. The room is clean and in good condition. It has the things/appliances I need for a comfortable stay. Food is OK. Value for money. Watch outs: - The hotel entrance is not that easy to find. - There is no Wi-Fi signal in the guest room so you have to go to the 2nd floor and the lobby where it's available.

This was an awesome hotel with a great view!”
This hotel is a few hundred feet from Jingshan Park and the north entrance to the Forbidden City, on a side street with barely enough room for one car to travel. The rooftop is open to go onto it, and the view of these sites is incredible! The breakfast was very good and filling, and it is definitely a hidden gem in Beijing. We definitely want to go back to this hotel when we visit Beijing!

Very good indeed”
Great hotel near many things worth seeing. Forbidden city, Jingshan park, Beihai park, Tiananmen square etc. The best hotel you can get with reasonable price in Beijing. Room was nice, with clean bathroom. Nothing bad to say about this. And we were travelling with two little kids, so I think that we are pretty demanding to what comes to our accommodation.

Reasonable hotel with great location”
I stayed in the Beijing King Parkview Hotel for a few nights and overall was fairly impressed. The room itself was comfortable with a soft bed (for Chinese standards). The location is good, near the Summer Palace and close to bus stops. Also, the dining options available in the hotel were pretty good. One negative thing I experienced was that the hotel was very noisy, especially in the morning. Cleaning and other activities were too loud and obviously disruptive. Overall, reasonably priced hotel.

We're happy with hotel's location and the service.”
King Parkview hotel locates in a central area. From the top of the hotel (Floor no.5), we can enjoy a beautiful view from the Forbidden city and Jingshan Park. The hotel itself is very nice and clean with good service. However, there was a very week wifi in the hotel's lobby, this means we couldnot access wifi in our room. By anyway, we love and highly recommend other visitors to stay here.

Nice Hotel near North Gate of Forbidden City”
Though a little hard to find, hotel is actually conventiently located just 3 bus stops away from subway station Dong Si and is just a few bus stops from Tian An Men Square. Hotel is only a short walk from Xuan Wu Men or North Gate (exit gate) of the Forbidden City. Do note that visitation to the Forbidden City is currently uni-directional i.e. you could only enter from the the main entrance at South Gate at Tian An Men Square and exit from the North Gate. The hotel is located in the middle of a small road. Getting out of the hotel turning right is a small decent road which is the direction of access to the North Gate of Forbidden City. Getting out turning right however, is an alley "Hu Tong" which is lined with small shops which one would not imagine could lead to a decent multi-story hotel housed within a compound although at the beginning of the road is several signage in Chinese showing there are several hotel/motel down the road. So don't be surprise if you first hit this alley when you try to find the hotel. Trully worth noting is, housed within the compound facing the entrance gate of the hotel is the building which was once the resort home of Princess He Jia, the fourth daughter of Emperor Qian Long. In 1898, this building was converted to an educational instituion which is the predecessor of the current Peking University. It was once the tallest educational building in China. Hotel is also just next to Jing Shan Park. Wang Fu Jing and the Prince Gong Mansion (Gong Wang Fu) aren't too far to access too, although transport maybe necessary.

Fabulously located hotel”
Hotel is excellent value for money. If you want five starr this certainly isn't it, but it's clean, safe and the staff whilst having limited English(common in china), were very helpful and could assist with the vast majority of your requests. There is free wifi in the reception area and the hotel is located about a 4 min walk from the entrance to jingshan park (well worth a visit, has the best views of the forbidden city) but unfortunately is now not near the forbidden city entrance ( I only mention as this is a selling point in many previous reviews). The previous north entrance of the forbidden city is now only an exit. Not a massive issue, but worth mentioning. I didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food but they organised our fast train tickets to shanghai for us with no problem and did wake up calls and delivered messages that had been left for us with no problem. Also close to the night food markets and wanfujing street ( about a 15 min walk or shirt can ride). About the same distance to the closest subway station. The beds are hard but nothing unlike most hotels in china

Exactly what we were looking for and expected”
We enjoyed our stay at the King Parkview Hotel. We actually changed to this hotel from another that we had selected prior that was about 1 hour away from downtown. The location of King Parkview was excellent. They had a tourist card that you could give to a taxi to get you around which was nice. Nothing amazing, but just what we needed to sleep at night. The bed was really hard, but this seems to be normal in China.

Exceptional”
Took a bit of a tussle even with the baidu map to reach this place, but once you find it, you'll figure directions easily - great location close by Jingshan Park (literally 200m away), the forbidden palace and other closeby attractions. Location is not short of eateries and supermarkets, and is accessible with buses and a 15 minute walk to 2 different subway stations. Although customer service wasn't eloquent in English, they tried their best and was very helpful at check-in and when we had questions about directions and getting to the railway station. Room was pleasant and wifi works well too - nice place for a quick rest for a day of exploring. I'd definitely recommend staying here and would book another stay if I visit beijing again.

Perfect match to my needs!”
Room was reasonable by all means, clean and tidy - and silent on the 5th floor. View showed both tourist troops following their flag-carrier and local people at their daily work. Jiangsu Park just round the corner as well as Forbidden city. A lot is manageable by foot, my favorite vehicle. All though the staff is not very skilled in English, despite couple of them, they were willing to help you and did their best. Breakfast at price of 28 Y was definitely worth it.

Great view from the rooftop, specially at night”
First of all, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely consider staying there again should I visit again. For the price I paid, the room was appropriately sized, although I've had bigger elsewhere. The shower was a bit cramped and water leaked out and wet the rest of the bathroom (but not too badly). The temperature of the room is adjustable, but you can also open the window if you want to enjoy the fresh air, which I did quite often. The hotel is located near some parks so there are lots of trees and the air is quite clean. There is a very busy street nearby with several convenience stores and eateries in case you are the adventurous type who likes to sample the local fare. There is also some historical significance in this hotel which draws several tours daily to the surrounding buildings and the street, adding to the street ambiance of the place. The breakfast buffet was disappointing, but we had so many options around that we only tried it once. That was also the only time we ate at the hotel. The eateries nearby are owned and operated by Chinese who don't speak English. Some have menus with pictures but others don't, so check first, if that will be an issue. The front desk personnel have a good grasp of English and are very helpful. There are also tours available should you choose to go on one. We took a tour to the Great Wall section in Mutianyu and the Ming tombs and were quite pleased with the way it was conducted, although I would have preferred it if they didn't include the side trips to the Jade factory, Pearl store and Tea store, which were just glorified tourist traps. Those portions just made the tour longer than they should have been and were not advertised as part of the tour. There are a lot of smokers in Beijing, and even some areas of the hotel have that musty smell, but overall, the hotel did a great job of keeping smokers away from smoke free zones. I am very pleased with my stay here.

Good location but the room is dirty”
The hotel is in a great location, about 5 mins walk to the back door of the Forbidden City and less than 5 mins to Jingshan Park. There are a lot of buses near the hotel which can take you to Wangfujing Street and Line 5 subway station. It's also not far from Houhai pub street. The only shortcoming of this hotel is that the room is quite dirty, quite a lot of stains on the carpet and the shower is not strong enough and the tap is quite dirty.

good service”
I liked the hotel. Eventhough they promised my room to the current occupant for a few extra hours, they put me in another room until they left. It is high season and the hotel was crowded with guests, but the hotel still seemed relaxed and spacious. The staff made efforts to make my stay comfortable. I felt like a guest rather than a source of money for the hotel. The location was convenient to the Forbidden City and within 2km from the shopping district and the local neighborhoods.

Decent hotel for its price”
King Parkview Hotel is very close to Forbidden City. There are quite a lot of restaurants and street foods nearby. It took about 20 minsutes to walking to the closest train station. The room is clean and in good condition. Value for money. One bad thing is they dont have wifi in rooms!!!!

A great choice”
Overall, a fantastic location and quality hotel. Within walking distance of two subway lines (including one that went directly to the Summer Palace), buses close by, and near to the Forbidden City and parks. Loads of street food and budget restaurants. Only downsides were: WiFi only available in the lobby, and the standard Chinese hard beds. Highly recommended.

King Park View Hotel”
We spend 5 nights in this hotel dring Chuseok holiday and National Day. Fortunatel hotel was out of restricted area, so we didn't have any problems with walking around. The location is very strategic, it's very close to Forbidden City, to the HyuHai area and others, which are reachable by short taxi ride. W@hile hotel doesn't provide breakfast there is small nice cafe at the end of the street where you always can fine tasty coffee and omlet/sandviches - ewhatever you feel like eating - with the staff who speaks some english ad can help you to find something in the city. The rooms are pretty clean, but don't beleave that there are any non-smoking rooms. I guess there are no hotels in China where it's forbidden to smoke. The rooms were cleaned and towels were changed every day, but don't forget to put the sign 'don;t disturb' if you are in the room in the morning. Overall the impression of hotel is quite nice and considering the price it's worth staying there

Customer service can improve but great location & good value for money”
Cleaning staff was great and kept the rooms clean when requested. Front desk staff however not the most helpful. Do not feel they wish to be there and want to assist the guests. Although the hotel is centrally located, going from on place to another around Beijing can still be a long walk. The hotel should prepare some guides of how to catch the local bus and metro to the most popular touristy spots such as Wanfujing St, Forbidden City etc.

Decent hotel at a good location”
Good location - close to Forbidden city, Tiananmen Square and Wangfujing street. Easy access to food. Staffs are friendly, helpful and speaks English; they were very patient with providing directions and travelling advice. Price offered by Agoda is value for money. Room is slightly small, although comfortable and clean. However, had an unpleasant experience with the tour service. The actual tour does not match the description on the brochure and by the staff. Furthermore, laundry service is not provided (contrary to Agoda's description).
