Great location nearby the beach, there are also factory outlets and restaurants nearby at night. Good breakfast. The staff is nice, just be patient with all the QR codes to show, especially they make you fill the same codes twice at the entrance and at the desk which is very annoying but past that, it's a great place. There is a shuttle bus that can bring you in 5min to the private beach nearby the Intercontinental. The beach is clean, the water is pristine and there is no silly restrictions to swim so you can really have fun without having an idiot who asks you to wear a hat in the sea :D

Lovely stay in an excellent hotel”
We had a lovely stay at the Kingkey Palance Hotel and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a relaxing time away from the hussle and bussle of the city. The room was fantastic, so spacious and comfortable, and the quality of service was very good. It is right opposite the beach and has a nice outdoor pool that was great to cool off in after a hot day in the sun.

enjoyable stay near the beach”
We enjoyed our seaview room facing the beach very much. It is a lot more expensive than the regular rooms but it is much bigger with a nice seaview facing the waterfront promenade. The food in the Chinese restaurant of the hotel is very good and very reasonably priced. The swimming pool is also quite nice - for a hotel which is right off the main road, you do not feel that there is any traffic near you. Overall, a good hotel for a short break. It is also very close to the popular OCT theme park in Shenzhen.

A rough start, but a good finish”
I reserved the cheapest special deal Agoda had, and it turns out that on each floor of the A tower there is one room that is half the size of the others. The other half of the space is taken up by a supply closet. However, the room is still comfortable. The first problem was that they put us in a smoking room when we asked for non-smoking. So they moved us to a non-smoking floor. The room is on the corner of the tower, right next to a busy intersection, and the noise level was really unacceptable. I asked to be moved again, but was told these rooms were the only ones available because of the special rate we paid. But then we discovered that the bedspread had dark orange stains on it. I took pictures and went to speak to the manager. He was very helpful and apologized. He upgraded us to a much bigger room away from the intersection. The staff was courteous, and I know they could not do that kind of upgrade on their own, so that's why I spoke to the manager. The only other slightly odd thing was that we wanted to use a coupon for the dinner buffet, but in order to use a coupon you have to make a reservation a day in advance. This seems kind of odd for guests staying in the hotel. Instead we ate at the hotel's Japanese restaurant, and it was excellent. The breakfast buffet (included in the room rate) was very good. The area is good (except for the street noise), and just a short walk to the public beach.

there were couple things went wrong, water coming out from the shower because of the design, the bath water just keep going away and the boiler didn't work! however, other than that, everything else was good. the staffs are very nice. the hotel is in the heart of everything, very easy to go anywhere. the bed was very soft and comfortable. and the breakfast was great! our room has a little view of the ocean.

Value for money, access to beach and friendly staf”
The room was small, but designed in a smart way that you wouldn't feel crowded; The breakfast was a good selective of western and eastern food. Dining area was classy. Next to it is an outlet where you could buy stuff with reasonable price. During my check-out, the receptionist who seemed new spent sometime in canceling the deposit from my credit, and his slowness immediately caught the attention of his superior who went forward and made sure everything's alright. I appreciate the proactiveness.

Good Rooms, but overcrowded”
Good spacious rooms with well designed furniture. and soft beds. the pool was nice however there was no hot tub to relax. Overall a pretty decent hotel in the area however the hotel (and surrounding area) is intensely crowded. getting to the hotel can take forever with traffic due to the area being a big area for tourists. After you check out of your room they dont allow you to continuing using the pool and gym room etc. which i thought was a bit weird and cheeky.
