Clean, quiet and easy to get to”
Enjoyed staying at this hotel, not bad value for Guangzhou and close to the canton fair complex. It is not far from chigang metro station on line 8, only 2 stops from the trade and exhibition center and 3/4 stops to the mall of the world in downtown Guangzhou. The room was large enough, clean and tidy with a great shower (rain shower or you could change to the hose nozzle shower). Did like that the music started playing as you came in, nice touch and relaxing easy to listen to music choice. Only found 1 English Channel and unfortunately no window however this didn’t bother me as the room was adequate. Food street a couple of blocks away 15min walk and kecun station plus other choices near the hotel with a cha time down stairs (which seemed to have a dog group meet most nights of the week🐶). In room WiFi also made it easy. I would recommend this hotel if you need easy access to both the trade and exhibition center and main part of the city. It was a great base.

Very good value”
Came here for the Canton Fair. Lets start with the negatives. The hallway that leads to the room has water damage on the carpet and the walls. The wallpaper in the room is peeling and looks like it has some water damage too. There's a smell from cigarette smoke in the room. As for the positives, the location is excellent. There are a few decent restaurants and a convenience store in the same plaza as the hotel. The plaza is well lit and very safe for solo travelers. Staff is friendly but most don't speak English. Be prepared to use a translating software. Hotel is about a 5 minute walk to the nearest Metro (Subway) and 2 or 3 stops to the Canton Fair Complex. No issues with the wi-fi. Room is clean. The hotel is actually called Life Hotel and not Lifu Hotel. Very happy with the visit and will return in the future.

Great Location ”
It is a small hotel with all essential facilities. Plenty of food outlets and shops around. Very close to the metro station and just 2 stops away from Pazhou Convention Centre. So it is ideal for visitors to the Canton Fair. Highly recommended.

Hotel is named Life Hotel on site not LIFU HOTEL in Agoda list. Hotel is along Main Street and less than 5 minutes walk from Subway Chigang Station Exit C1.

Do not use google maps to find this place. It will give you the wrong address. This place is about a 15-minute walk from Kecun train station in a straight line. The rooms are well designed and clean. Free laundry on the roof and a 10 yuan breakfast coupon await you when you stay here. The rooms in the center of the building do not have windows to allow light in. If you want daylight, request a room with a window. There is no shuttle to the Canton Fair. You will have to walk to the train station. Around the corner of the train station is a street filled with restaurants. Definitely worth a visit while you are in this neighborhood.

Great location but suffocating room”
I don't think you can live in a better location in Guangzhou at this price. We were at walking distance to the Canton Tower and some really amazing places. The hotel street has amazing bakeries and places to eat. There is an ATM to withdraw cash from VISA/Mastercard which is extremely rare in China as far as I know. BUT despite all of this, the room leaves much to be desired. There is no window in the room and in place of the window some artificial plants have been planted. Where our room was, if there was a window, it would have faced the street and would have been perfect. For some reason, the hotel people decided to block it. At some places the wallpaper was coming off too.

Good location but disappointed with the room ”
The location are 5 min walk to metro. The building are shared with a “shopping center” which not more than 20 shop and mostly restaurants. Easy to get cab and 24 hours store below. Only disappointment are during the stay , I had requested to change the room and the front desk lady had agreed and told me to bring down luggage the next day when room are available for exchange, however, it was discover that the lady did not inform the duty girl which she did not know and told that I need to pay extra which I reject and remain. The same night around 10am, the sound of drilling and knocking can be heard clearly and I have to make at least 3 complaint before the sound stop at almost 12am. The room was just beside the shopping which one of the unit are doing renovations at night. One more comment about the front desk girl , none of them smile during my 4 night stay .

First the name: It is LIFE Hotel not LIFU as stated here. I had to walk almost 2 km looking for the place. The map in Agoda is not accurate. Good thing I walked further to see the hotel. The name and the directions in the map are both CONFUSING! But the stay in general is worth it.

Name of Hotel is Life Hotel, NOT LIFU HOTEL”
the location of the hotel supplied in Agoda map is not correct. The English name of the hotel is NOT LIFU HOTEL. It is actually Life hotel. My taxi driver was circling around until he gave up and dropped me off. i was lugging 25kg of luggage around for 2 hours searching for the hotel. How can Agoda make such a mistake in putting the WRONG name????

2 stops metro from Canton Fair”
Walk 15 minutes to Living Mall the best great restaurants, Starbucks, a pricey area. Learned food either good or bad. If you walk to end of long building that hotel is in turn left go about 300 ft cross street great no the best value noodle street place has seats, 12 yuan big bowl otherwise go upscale do not eat at locations unless Living Mall. Got sick highly allergic to Monosodium glutamate. Street food good most low end high price food use it. I will not stay at this hotel again bit go back to LiWan area near Metro and commute 20 minutes the area was fantastic. Will stay in Pension Rock or another. If you are Fru Fru stay at James Joyce.

For fair attending”
I'd stayed there for 7 days for Canton Fair. The hotel is located near Chigang metro station by taking exit C1. It's just 3 stops away from the fair. However, their staffs barely speak English. They rely pretty much on English translator application. I'd stayed on the 4th floor and there was cigarette smell on the hallway. Security was not that good as I saw food delivery guys came up freely countless time. By the way, I think this hotel is a good place for fair attending only because it's closest to the fair in this price point. PS. The hotel's name is LIFE not LIFU!!

Easily Accessible Hotel using public transport”
I arrived at this hotel absolutely saturated due to a heavy downpour of rain. I believe I left my denim dress in the wardrobe drying out. If you find it please let me know. It was only a short distance from the subway. I enjoyed my one night stay.

Good for people who are attending the Canton fair”
The room is small but the bathroom is bigger than usual :) Near the Chigang station (line 8 - exit C1), go straight cross the bus station on the left side. It's suitable for people who are attending the Canton Fair because you'll send whole day in the fair and carry a huge catalogue, the nearest place will help you to save time and energy :) P/S: The local breakfast in opposite (near station) is so good and cheap.

The room was good and clean, the staff were helpful but not a lot of English, they all have some kind of translation app so it was ok. Easily accessible as its only around 150m or so from the Chigang metro station, exit C. Good location if you attending Canton fair. Would stay there again.
