Definitely returning in my next Lijiang trip!”
The Inn is the only positive memory of Lijiang. Whilst the rest of Lijiang is overly commercial and dirty and crowded and rude, Lijiang Lize Graceland Artistic Suite Inn is the only quiet and peaceful corner of Lijiang with the beautifully preserved ancient chinese building, I am glad that I chose to stay here and thanks for leaving me at least one good memory of Lijiang. One complain was the non-working safety box, it just makes these annoying beeps and never opens. Also I thought both trips to/from hotel/airport was included for 4 nights of stay, but only to find out that only the arrival pick-up was included, so I had to pay RMB80 for the hotel to airport trip.

One of the best hotel experience I've had!”
Highly recommended. Certainly one of the best hotel experience I've had. This boutique hotel in the Lijiang Ancient Town (Gu Cheng) has everything u would need, Air-con with functioning heater, Good audio system, DVD, Wi-fi, and computer in the rooms! This hotel was formally an Art House! While keeping the historical design and feel, they renovated the bathroom with luxurious modern fittings! The hotel staffs were excellent, very friendly and helpful. They assisted us in all the things that we need, providing maps, recommending the places the go, things to take note of, and arranging for all our tours and transports! They could even arrange home cook dinner for you at the hotel. The only thing is to book your room/s early as there are only 9 rooms in this hotels and try to get those rooms in the 2nd level as there are less privacy and may be quite noisy for those rooms on the ground level.

Super comfortable, can't be better located”
Our experience with the hotel starts with phone confirmation, they call a day before the arrival and give you essential information on arriving Lijiang, plus answering any questions you may have. Upon arriving the town, the hotel staffs have been very welcoming, due to the hotel itself is located in the center of the old town where cars are prohibited, they had a push trolley out to the main road to pick up our luggages. The room itself is a semi-detached ancient Chinese two storeys house with very nicely decorated, retro in the style yet modern in the functions. Room equipped with bath tub, Japanese style butt washing toilet seats, has all the gadgets you may need, air-con, humidifier, computer connected to a 50 inch TV, and the best part of our room is that the TV is rotatable, it can be turned around so that you can watch on the bed or on the coach on the other side of the room. Location wise, it is in the very centre part of the old town, like 10 mins walk to anywhere in the area. Cant be much better. Out of the five different places we have stayed in the two week trip, this one is no doubt the best in any aspect. although the most expensive one, but value wise, well worth the $.

Lovely hotel and service with a smile”
When we arrived to Lijiang we called the hotel and within short arrived a rikshaw man and took us tho the hotel. The hotel is located in a quiet place near the center, decorated with ethnic furnitures but new modern facilities. Nothing is missing. Yulia a charming young woman helped us in any question/problem we had and this made our visit very pleasant. At the end of the visit she sent a driver to take us to the airport, not charging us.

Magnificent!”
Without any doubt I'll recommend this hotel to every traveller who comes to LiJiang. It's not an international chain hotel but a homesty with all you need from a good hotel. Very well located with beautiful house, rooms and garden. Very thoughtfully converted from a traditionaly Na-Xi local house with modern and nice designs with pools and fish underground. Very attentive personnel and warm service made us feel at home! Definitely will stay here again next time!

Staff are Brilliant”
I have traveled to many countries and stayed in many hotels but the performance of the staff in this hotel was amazing. During our stay in Lijiang i was hospitalised. The staff assisted my wife to take me to the hospital and even made sure she had food to eat. We didn't have enough cash to pay the bill but the management loaned us 3000RMB to cover the hospital costs. I have never experienced such a wonderful situation like this. I will definitely be returning there. As for Julia the lady who helped us so much i can only say that if there are angels on the earth she is one. Thank you Julia and i hope you are blessed every day

Fantastic styled traditional old building”
We stayed for our wedding anniversary in this wonderful hotel, situated in the old town of Lijiang. Rooms are nice furnished, location is great and the service too. Be careful about the sudden altitude change if you arrive with an airplane as Lijiang is on 2,500m and the air in May was quite dry. However very recommendable stay.

Comfortable stay”
We stayed in the Songyu and Yinzhu Rooms during our stay there. Both rooms are fine, but we preferred Songyu because Yinzhu is located nearer to the walkway outside. If you are a light sleeper, you will be disturbed by the noises early in the morning, not from the people in the inn, but from the people outside the inn going to the market or out of the city. To us, Songyu is a much better choice. The staff were great. They would usually make us a pot of tea and have a chat with us when we came back from our day trips. We got to understand more about the culture. Give us more of a homestay feel rather than a stay at those commercial hotels. If you are sick of going out for meals, you can request the aunt to prepare a meal for you by giving the inn one day notice. let them know what you would like to have and the aunt will go to the market to get the ingredients for you. The inn will charge you the cost of the ingredients and a small sum of handling fee.

Perfect stay in Lijiang”
Perfect stay for a couple of days in Lijiang. The service personnel ist extraordinary polite and service oriented. You could ask for anything (if you speak Chinese), the manager will take care. Transport from and to airport was organised and included in the fee, free coffee and tea ceremony at all tume. Room was nice, spacy and clean. Absolutely recommendable.

Service Excellence & Well Equipped Inn”
We would described our whole experience as wonderful n a very pleasant one. Beginning from arrival at the airport to departure. Everything was well taken care of and thoroughly thought. Imagine going to a place the very first time not knowing how to navigate. The Inn arranged FOC pick-up frm airport to d Inn. The room was well furnished and equipment were fantastic and working fine esp On cold weather . The service staff were warm and very willing to assist in most of our request. We will highly recommend to people who want to have peace of mind in term of services assurance and lodging needs. It is value for money and worth while 'investment'. We would say tat we gain more than we paid.

nice hotel within the ancient township”
the hotel is situated within the ancient lijiang township. close to shopping area and restaurants. if you are first time there, you might be lost as the roads are not symmetrical. the staff are friendly. One thing I dislike about the hotel is that they are close by midnight and you have to call them up to open up the entrance if you decide to stay late. The breakfast is bad, one morning i was served with stale milk. you should just forgo the breakfast, its better to eat outside on your own.

Beautiful room/place. Great customer service - whenever we are back to the hotel, we'll be greeted with friendly smile and offer of fruits & drinks. And these would be promptly served, totally complimentary. Hotel is within Ancient Town and convienient for sightseeing. Airport transfer from airport was complimentary. Hotel could arrange for shows at discounted price. And could arrange for transport too. Breakfast was generous though range limited. Internet did not quite work. A memorable stay and a place to return again.

Boutique hotel with great personal service by the Manager who serves you tea and mandarin oranges and tells you about the culture of Lijiang. Very friendly people.Only 9 roooms but personalised. Many return visitors stay here.

Nice inn converted from ancient naxi house”
It was a very nice experience staying in the inn that was converted from ancient Naxi house. Room is spacious though there is room for improvement in the maintenance. We have a great time staying in the hotel for 7 nights. Breakfast is nice, the auntie prepared delicious noodles soup. You can also buy food from the market and get auntie to prepare for you, with additional handling costs of RMB 30 per pax. Whenever we came back in the late afternoon, the staff would make chinese tea for us and we would chit chat in the yard and sometimes other guests would join in and that's when we got to exchange our experiences. Overall it was great. There are two rooms that are next to the street, though. I won't recommend these two rooms for people who are afraid of noises.

Wonderful hotel with most helpful hosts”
My friend and I fell ill due to food poisoning on the day when we checked into the hotel. The staff were extremely helpful,collected our lugguage and sent us to hospital. They looked after us over night and even got up at 5: 00 a.m. to collect us back from hospital to the inn. The next day they arranged us medecine, car and lugguage services to the airport. We cannot thank them more of the service and warmth.

great experience staying in this hotel, staff are very helpful. getting around the ancient city is easy, near to the local market where you could get fresh ingredient and cook your own meal... very small hotel with only 9 rooms so it was very warmth and very comfortable and relax after a long day walking around the ancient city. I specially enjoy the chinese tea made by the staff and connecting with other travelers. To show our appreciation we tip the hotel staff and they refuse to accept it....really unconditional and it touches our hearts.

Modern facillities in ancient building yet Delicat”
I stayed in this hostel for three nights. This is definitely not the cheapest hostel in the Lijang ancient town but u will get wt u paid. It is not located in the heart of the town, on the other hand it provides the peacefulness which is something rare in the crowded town. The staff are helpful and friendly and would be pleased to provide every information u need on the road. The garden is very impressive, i guess it is something i would only see on tv. The room has every modern facillities u can imagine, eg. Lcd tv, electrical tooth brush..... The only downside is that the wooden building has almost zero sound proof. But i guess it is unavoidAble if u wish to stay in the ancient town.
