Good Location ”
This hotel is in an excellent location. It is less than 7 min walk to the one part of the North gate where you can get taxi / and buses. This is also the waiting area for the day trips to Tiger Leaping Gorge or Snow Mountain. They provided a van service to get us at the train station to the north gate and then we walked in with one of the Hotel employees. We ate our breakfast at the local shops at the north gate as the hotel breakfast starts at 8am and our day tours set off at 7.30am. There is a convenience store next to the hotel to get drinking water etc. and a tour agency 2 doors away. It is about 12 min walk to the Water wheels where you can get to KFC, MacDonalds, and Pizza Hut. It is also about 5/10 min walk thru to get to the local cuisine "food courts" and other restaurants. We travelled with haversacks as the old city is a town with cobbled streets so trolley bags are not encouraged.

Good location to set off on Day trips”
It is less than 5-7 min uphill to the north gate to get to the tour buses. Our family of four took a tour package from the agency recommended by the hotel staff to Yulong Snow Mountain. This was a custom tour for 6 pax in a mini van. As it was under a specialized tour group, we had to head back to the tour agency office at the end of the tour to sign off our tour service before the mini van dropped us back at the north gate. No tour guide. Just a driver to bring us there and back. We also tried the local chinese tour package. This consists of a mix group of local chinese travellers - 20 of us in a tourist bus. We went to see Tiger Leaping Gorge and this was led by a local tour guide from Shangrila area. Both driver and tour guide in both tour packages spoke only local chinese.

I recommend to stay here because all of people that working in here are good service. I contact with them before i arrived in Lijiang by wechat, they can give many help for me. The location is inside the old town. If you want to join the jade dragon snow mountain, you can contact them. I will be back to stay again next time.

Good overall, but lacking some attention to details”
I like the contemporary design but practicality is lacking; (1) it was difficult to walk on the pebbles and noticed that there are debris/hair in between which haven't been cleaned; (2) toilet roll is hard to reach), (3) Lack of door for the toilet area is unwise; smells travel across the room. Bathroom door does not close properly and needs repair. Service is great and responsive. Considerably good toiletries are provided (e.g. environmental friendly wooden toothbrush and comb). Couryard is rather boring compared to many other inns around the area.Breakfast is tasty but not served until 8am, a bit late IMO. I stayed in the "comfortable room" range, which I felt is rather small, so take a bigger room if you can. The walk to main area in old.town is pleasant, takes around ten to twenty minutes depending on your speed. Cars don't reach the front door, we hired a bike porter for RMB20 as it is difficult to carry our bags on the cobblestone road (hilly at some parts).

All the facilities were quite new and clean. Staffs were also nice and they kindly helped to make a reservation for a day trip to Jade dragon snow mountain. This hotel is very good to look around Lijiang old town.

The hotel is quite new with a unique style of decoration. It's located in Old town but the Chinese traditional hotel style was combined with modern loft. The room was clean and spacious. There're many amenities but lack of refrigerator and ironing facilities. Since it's quite new, you may smell something like wet cement.

The room is pretty minimalist. Compared to the other hotel we stayed in Lijiang, this place is extremely overpriced for what it offered. Our room is right in front of the lobby by the side street. There’re people walking in and out the entire night. Super noisy. Honestly won’t recommend at all

We offer HansGeya bathroom,Golden Kerr mattress,AXENT toilet，Walch's wash underwear,breakfast,air condition and you cost almost 250RMB for all of that,Our glass is the only soundproof glass in the whole street,i don't know what you want,you choose to live in the old town rather than a hotel,and you say there are so many noises,i can tell you that the whole old town is like this,i suggest you go to the hotel outside but not in the old town,wish you come here next time go to outside. 非常喜欢的民宿，我跟我媳妇是刚结婚新婚夫妇由于时间紧张，选择了去丽江旅行，去之前在网站上预留了新婚夫妇的备注，到了酒店直接给我升级成了豪华大床房，很贴心，当天下午在古城转了转，老板给我们介绍了几个性价比高的饭馆，吃的也是非常好。由于我俩提前没有做太多的攻略，店里的阿禄给我推荐了家旅行社，带我们去了玉龙山还有看大型表演千古情，路程安排的很满，很充实，两位老板每天都会问我们的需求，真是服务很到位，真心谢谢，平时没事的时候也会找他们聊聊天，都是有梦想的年轻人，为他们点赞👍，希望你们坚持自己的初心，越干越好，有机会还会去丽江找你们。

第一次到达丽江，带着老人家和小孩自然会担心有诸多的不便，高铁出站后客栈人员安排车子接我们，登记入住后会告诉我们这里的注意事项，如果需要周边旅游计划，他们也会贴心的让旅行社人员上门帮你安排沟通，买东西也有快递上门服务，简直不要太好了…… 几天下来的住宿让我和家人很舒适，因为古城的路比较难找，他们只要有空都会带我去，还给我推荐好吃好玩的地方。老人家走路不方便，早餐还给我送到房间，我们都不好意思了。感觉这几天的旅程下来过得特别快，希望我们下次还能见到美美的姐姐，和亲切健谈的小陈哥哥哟。
