Amazing experience for the family at Lotus. Although rooms are dated, it TOTALLY MAKES UP for the COUNTLESS things to do, activities for both adults and the young. We can see people playing beach volleyball at the sandy court, kids love the massive lawn area outside the restaurants and attend the line dance (more like Zumba) nightly which is in conjunction with the sch holiday period. Wish they could start it earlier say 6-7/7-8pm and wish it could a full hour instead of 50 min. The carnival is awesome. Easy to play and redeem for prizes. Kids club sounds fun with painting activities. The real treat would be the free water play at the resort’s water playground for the budget friendly. It has a nice convenience stall to buy drinks without breaking the bank. Has a smaller pool in resort but the bigger free one is at the connecting water playground. There’s a games room but we didn’t manage to book a slot sadly. Also a gym with couple of treadmills. Food is simply excellent. Had lobster thermidor (cheese) and grilled amongst all the other lovely dishes like salted egg yolk squid, butter chicken, toufu, beers, cocktails and all.. Live band needs to have more variety though. Seems to be the same singer throughout. Housekeeping is fine. They won’t help u to wash the cups u use for drinking plain water though but the rooms are superbly clean. We love our room which has tow bedrooms, two balconies and bathroom with bathtub. It is incredibly spacious and sofa is comfy. They need to brighten the room by changing the lights. Also dined at the cafe serving western food. Drinks a little too sweet for the iced teh terik. Noodles a little soggy. But kids beef bolognese and wanton soup are alright (soup too salty though/soup standard across the island somehow) Guards are friendly and professional. Accommodation feels like a chalet style so it’s not your cup of tea if you are particular or fussy on the “look” of your room if you prefer modern hotel chain style.

Booked this 3-bedroom apartment for 3 nights. 2 out of the 3 bedrooms have an attached balcony. The living room has an attached balcony too. Rooms are spacious. The apartment has 1 common washroom & a bathroom with a bathtub in 1 of the rooms. Floors weren't very clean & would be better if they could provide bedroom slippers. Kitchen area had a microwave oven which was essential. Their safe was spoilt though. Loved that they had the free buggy service. Their buggy drivers are friendly & helpful. Convenient, as they have pretty much all the facilities needed for your stay. Apart from the variety of restaurants, they also have quite a few swimming pools, water parks & slides for kids, a playground, an arcade, a PS5 game room, karaoke rooms, a Starbucks cafe & a convenience store. The beach is just a 5 minute walk from the resort. Lots of water sports available at the beach. Their daily buffet breakfast was good. Quite a spread of local & international dishes were served. It usually gets more crowded over the weekend. We stayed from Wednesday till Saturday. The crowd started streaming in on Friday evening. They also had night activities like dancing & fun fair games. The food at the Lotus Seafood Restaurant was delicious. Their seafood is fresh & very tasty. While we were there, the lift at our block was out of order from Thursday till the day we checked out. This was inconvenient as we had to either climb up the stairs to our room on the 4th floor, or walk to another lift at another block & find our way to get to our room by finding the connection to the blocks. Their lifts ought to be upgraded for the safety & convenience of their customers. Especially for those with elderly parents. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Their safe was spoilt throughout our stay. It should be repaired or replaced. Loved that they had the free buggy service. Thier buggy drivers are friendly & helpful. Convenient as they have pretty much all the facilities needed for your stay. Apart from the variety of restaurants, they also have quite a few swimming pools & waterplay areas for kids, a playground, an arcade, a PS5 game room, karaoke rooms, a Starbucks cafe & a convenience store. Excellent experience as a first-timer here. Management is very good- you can tell from how hardworking and thorough the staff are from the cleanliness of the whole resort, rooms, and facilities. Air conditioning is good, maintaining the coolness of the room, although some water leakage of the aircon happens. Staff and security guards are super friendly and helpful to any queries you have. The beach is clean and has washing area so you won’t get sand all over the resort. Beach restaurants and cafes have a nice vibe in the evening for night drinking, price is reasonable, but quality of the alcoholic drinks are just average at best. There is a dedicated area for BBQ so the smoke won’t get in the way of you enjoying ur meals/drinks by the seaside. There are resort buggy’s that operate from as early as 7am to as late as 11pm for guests to take in case the walking gets exhausting. Facilities are plenty enough for all ages to enjoy- swimming pools(3 of them), archery course, gym, Karaoke rooms, pool table, claw machines, and many others. The only downside is that the rooms’ labels can be misleading. For e.g., block B’s level 3 can be block A’s level 4. We took awhile to find our room as not all “300” label rooms are on level 3. Lifts are located only on the extreme ends of each block, so if your room is in the middle, you need to walk a bit. Staircase is also located in the middle so it’s fine if you don’t mind climbing up and down. Highly recommended place to stay for all ages. Must come back again!

I stayed at Block R Level 5 for one night during my vacation, and it was an exceptional experience. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and had a stunning view of the skyline and the beach. The bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated the fast Wi-Fi and well-stocked minibar. What stood out most was the staff – they were always smiling, helpful, and quick to respond to any request. The hotel’s facilities were equally impressive. The gym was well-equipped for a workout. Breakfast had a wide variety of options, including fresh fruit, local delicacies, and continental choices. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area, and I will definitely stay here again on my next trip.
