This resort is a private island, with all the facilites well managed, temperature controlled pool, clean beaches, good food with amazing variety, lots of activities/adventure sports (paid). I Love This Resort. After Visiting this Resort, My Dream Came True Sea plane landing & Take Off from sea waves in front of Medhufushi Island was an awesome Experience. The views Of Lovely Resort from Window Of Sea Plane was a Heavenly Experience. I'll never forget the Fried Prawns and Grilled Fish served by the caring staff from Medhufushi Island. I Highly & Strongly Recommend This Resort for Every One. I .Love You Medhufushi. It's really a new World.
Contrary to some bad reviews, I experienced the other way around, there is daily complimentary water, tea and coffee were provided, I have my own wifi in my water villa although a bit slow sometimes but manageable. Room service was top notch. Food in the restaurant could be improved and menu should be different daily but the service they provided is what matters most. They have their own airport lounge so you can stay there while waiting for your scheduled speedboat transfer to the island. The speedboat transfer takes almost 3 hours and I don't mind at all but they only have 2 schedules per day which is a bit hassle for me. The island itself is beautiful, could use a bit of cleaning especially on the seaside but it's still so relaxing and serene. On my birthday, they surprised me by decorating my bed, and during dinner my table was decorated as well, the highlight was they have provided a cake with my name on it for me the blow the candles and make a wish. I really appreciate all the staff who went beyond and above. Choosing Medhufushi Island Resort was one of the best decision I've ever made. No regrets just love.
The island is a bit further away from Male, took us 3 hours boat ride. But it was worth it. We stayed in the beach chalet and had the beach to ourselves as it was off-peak season. The place was very serene. Staff were excellent and friendly. Food served was good and plenty of activities to do. Wonderful place

The staff is what makes this place fantastic for a relaxing stay. The chefs at the Buffett were so friendly and helpful and food was amazing every night. Our waiter Sajet was friendly, professional and learned our specific routine through the week and made sure we didn’t ask or wait for anything. All the staff did that. It made it so comfortable and honestly made our trip as special as it was. The location is a bit far from Male and sea transfer by speed boat is 2 and half hours, so it’s worth the extra money to get the seaplane. The resort is beautiful, lagoon swimming in the morning and sunset snorkling and 7 Dives at Werner Lau Diving centre right on the premises is was our routine. Dive centre like the hotel had a great team and they made our activities so memorable. Drinks on all inclusive is limited and cocktails had cheaper alcohol mix than the paid cocktails which resulted in me choosing to pay for cocktails by day 3, but there were discounts and happy hour specials everyday to mitigate the additional costs and the paid cocktails were delicious. Water activities are extra, except snorkelling… so plan extra spending money. I loved our stay and would go back in a heart beat.
