Good place with good service”
A really nice place in the little town of Khao Sok NP, next to shops and restaurants in the street. Quiet place though because the bungalows are on the backside so you will hear nothing from the road. Nice swimmingpool, good restaurant. The service is really great. There is a large choice of rooms. We had the riverview bungalow with airco. Only one bungalow attached. The others are mostly stand alone bungalows. Some have airco, other do not. Went back after staying one night in antoher place that was no so good. Then it turned out they do not (always) put the last free rooms online, because they still want to keep some rooms for people who walk by or want to change their room. So our room, room number 1, was still free. Excellent!!

Wonderful place to stay ”
We had a fantastic time staying at Morning Mist! Our room was very comfortable and clean and we loved having a pool to cool off in in the afternoons! The staff are lovely and they were so organized and helpful when we wanted to book a trip on the lake and arrange onward transport. We accidentally booked our stay for the wrong month through Agoda (May instead March) but Morning Mist waived the cancellation fee without a fuss which we really appreciated!!

Real nature's beauty with balcony on riverside”
it had beautiful balcony with river flowing right down and mountain view in the side. Was amazed with the experience, loved every bit of it.. must stay long if plan to visit.

Great place for nature lovers who are not too demanding ”
Pros: • resort occupies large, beautiful and quiet area with lots of all kinds of flowers and some tropical fruits. Nice view from terrace. We could hear gibbons singing in the morning • short walk to stores and restaurants • professional and quick staff, they answered all our questions as we were planning our activities. • they offer full range of activities and tours in Khao Sok. • the room was simple but nice, had comfy bed, clean towels, bath amenities and terrace to relax in the evening. Cons: • the rooms are a bit worn out and socket was too high on the wall so we couldn’t plug in a kettle while it was on the table. We had to put the kettle onto bed to boil some water • there was no fridge in the room Altogether it was a great value for money, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely book this place again

Our favourite place in Thailand”
We were met by a very competent helpful and friendly lady at the front desk. She arranged everything for us. The bungalow had a wonderful view which we could enjoy while relaxing in good chairs. The restaurant and the corresponding staff could have been better. One waitress was directly murmuring and unfriendly.

Beautiful Khao Sok”
Set in beautiful flower gardens on the scenic Sok river our little riverside bungalow was reasonable accommodation for the setting. The newer riverside room 3 provides a better view and is a little more spacious but the view over the river is spectacular and we enjoyed watching the monkeys during the day and fireflies at night. The view from the restaurant over the pool to the cliffs is also beautiful. Well positioned to visit the national park for a great scenic walk.

Beautiful grounds, odd experience”
One of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed. Flowers, river, monkeys… stunning. But advertisement said wifi in every room, host waited until after I paid to tell me only wifi in common area (which is a walk from where I was staying). The wifi was less of the issue for me than his dishonest approach. When I asked about one of the shorter walking tours to the “big flower” he quoted me 50% more than the book he had showed, plus entrance fee. But this was the feeling I got throughout Khao Sok. Beautiful area but dishonest people look looking to trap tourist. It’s a shame because the area really is beautiful, but I won’t go back.

Nice garden, lazy staff”
The garden is nice with a lot of flowers and the bungalows are ok. But the staff is so unwelcoming and lazy that you almost can’t believe it. The feel is a bit of a tourist engine just waiting for you to waste money and not ask questions before check out. Also remember to get your key deposit back it will not happen if you don’t ask for the money... Breakfast is expensive and boring. But still a nice garden with all the trees and flowers.

lovely place in the forest on the river”
Morning Mist resort is in beautiful Khao Sok which we will difinitey return to and spend more time exploring the area. They are doing a lovely job with the little resort, everything they have planted attracts the most beautiful butterflies, beautiful trees and flowers everywhere and the restaurant area overlooks dramatic cliffs. Our cottage was on the river and we had visiting monkeys from the forest on the other side and at night the most awesome sight of fireflies flashing through the rainforest. It was good to have a little pool to swim in next to the restaurant and the food was delicious and well priced. The minimart is also very good and had some lovely batik and thai silk cloth very reasonably priced. We could spend 4 or 5 days here very easily which would allow time to explore the dam area as well as wandering around the village and enjoying the forest environment.

Our stay at Morning Mist Resort was fantastic. Nid and her staff were so welcoming and they take care of your every need from tours to the basics of delivering you luggage and belongings to your bungalow. The restaurant has superior service and excellent food and drinks all located in a tropical setting with flowers and birds everywhere. The Morning Mist Resort is just a fantastic place to stay for relaxing or as a staging base for touring Khao Sok National Park. R
