Sleepy Pundaquit”
Only stayed for one night in Pundaquit but wish I could of stayed for a couple more days.One of the nicest untouched beaches that I visited.Quite a sleepy place but good surfing and some nice islands reachable by the local bankas(boats).Small place but very friendly people in the main village.Just don't expect a fancy beach resort.

My stay at Nora's Beach Resort Oct 11-14”
Our stay was good in that the room was clean and there was hot and cold water for showering. There were no towels in the room until I asked for them on the last night of our stay. There was no refrigerator although the a/c worked perfectly well. This was definitely a no-frills room which I felt was over priced at $47.00per day. I feel that I may have found the same type of accommodations for less. I will probably look for other accommodations upon return visits. I would rate this hotel as a 1-2 Stars.

Very difficult to find with very poor directions in the back roads. I tried to call to confirm but they did not answer - apparently the brother in law had the contact phone and they had not topped up the balance. They did not have a confirmed reservation from us and were surprised when I presented the confirmation for Nipa Hut accommodation. The hotel was full and all they could offer was some rooms 100m back down the street - not the Nipa huts we had paid premium for. No offer of refund etc. The rooms we had were clean but very basic - no table, no chairs. The food was OK and the owner hospitable, but basically they are completely out of their league with Agoda qualification as a recommended hotel.

This hotel is right on the beech. The owner runs a restaurant in the local town and the food is low cost and of a good standard. It is definitely a two star hotel in the Philippines tradition, but tht being said it has its acceptable for the price. The owner is a nice person and the staff are ok.
