My favorite hotel in this area of Beijing.”
I have spent many nights at the Oak Chateau while working and visiting Beijing. I have spent as little as 2 nights and as many as 26. My most recent trip was for business and travel. As my wife often travels with me, I love the 1 bedroom apartments. I am an early riser and I am able to get up and not bother her. The kitchens have every thing needed for a simple or more complex meal preparation. If one prefers to eat out, there are many restaurants in the near area. The Oak Chateau is a great place and I will stay here again.

surprisingly good!”
we stayed for 5 nights at the oak--the longest we have stayed for a long time anywhere in beijing. we visit beijing frequently and usually stay in 5 stars. that means basically being stuck in a room. oak, on the other hand, is an apartment hotel (previously they were part of the famous oak group). their apartments are spacious, with well laid out living and dining areas (we were complimentary upgraded to 1-bedrm deluxe, which was amazing!). it basically gives you more room to move around and not feel claustrophobic. the internet is cabled, complimentary and reasonably fast. the thing that stood out the most was the attentiveness and responsiveness of the staff; the housekeeping and front desk staff literally went out of their way to ensure each of our requests was responded to and met as much as possible. kudos to the management for that!

Great serviced apartment with nice comfy location”
We have been living in Beijing for several years but we stayed in this apartment during our moving to new apartment. We took one bedroom deluxe apartment which is very nice, clean, has BIG bedroom, living room, dining room, kitchenette, washing machine which I really need since I have 2,5 months baby who produce lots of dirty clothes everyday, bathroom with shower and bathtub. The housekeeping staffs are very efficient, friendly, speak only few English but fully understood what I mean. There is a small supermarket in the ground floor but if you want to have more choice, go to the back of the hotel there is bigger supermarket there (near SF Office). Once we are in the apt you won't feel like staying in the middle of beijing city since it's in the dead end road so not many people passing by in front of the apt, however for those who doesn't know the place it might be a bit tricky to find the exact location, not a problem for us since we have been living in Beijing for several years.

Nice Hotel”
Location is great, near central of Beijing. Basically ot so far to anyplace. Coffee machine and coffee could be used for round 6 cups per day. Room size is big, many TV channels like National Geo, HBO and NHK..etc. The only weaknes is internet system. Need to login all the time and sometimes will no function if other visitor use the hub. Basically it's a great hotel if you don't need many VIP service like most of other hotel did. If you need a very good breakfast, great roomservice, big lobby..find another hotel.

Just next to commercial area and also residence area as well. quiet but yet easy to access. Big room with small kitchen and dinning area. Good for family. I am sure I will stay there again.

Reasonably priced service apartment in Beijing”
Check in was no fuss, quick and efficient. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room is spacious with all the facilities you need to make you feel at home. Found that having a washing machine and dryer is very handy especially if you are staying for a few days. Bed is comfortable and room is very quite at night, which is good to get a good night sleep. Hotel is a bit hidden away, within a commercial compound. Need to walk about 5 minutes to the main road to catch a taxi. Could be inconvenient if you have a luggage with you. There is a cafe nearby and some interesting local restaurants in the vicinity. The massage parlor next door is handy and very good. Breakfast is ok and could order home delivered meals with good selections if you don't feel like venturing out in the evening.

it's a service apartment that can be also hotel...no restaurant inside, minibar etc...but...the location (close to the exhibition area) is was very convenient for me...the room is big and clean...free internet...minishop at the first floor...breakfast ok...very fair price

Very convenient for travelling to and from airport”
It was a pleasant stay for me and I like the massage shop just below the hotel it is very reasonably priced given the good quality of the massage. I like that the hotel area is a little quiet but there are food around the area if you take a short walk. A useful advice is how to get there from the airport. I found that the google map did not indicate this hotel location correctly and would recommend baidu to find the location. It is easy to walk from the MRT station only if you know the right way but the first time is not easy so I would recommend taking a cab from the MRT station. Its really a short ride but saves you from sweating.

Oakwood Apt Beijing”
We had a great stay at Oakwood apt Beijing. The staff was suitably helpful. The place was excellent. There was housekeeping everyday. The space was big. We had a free upgrade to a 2 bedroom apt even though we booked only for one. Free internet came along as well. The only setback is that the location is a little obscure and it baffled some cab drivers. Also the train station is about 10 minutes walk away, along the airport expressway. Although our breakfast was included in the package, it was nothing to rave about. It was there to just fill the stomach.

Comfortable and convenient”
I had a good stay, no major complaints. The room was clean and comfortable, and equipped with a kitchen. The one complaint I have is that the internet was quite slow, and at times unusable. Other than that, it was a good stay, and I will likely stay there again the next time I go to Beijing.

Really like a home”
Out of the hotels main area with nothing to do around. The breakfast is like a snack bar, poor and not for a 5 star hotels. The internet connection is extra charged specially if you "have booked through agoda" as they told me and it was us $15 per day. Very clean, spacious, more than fully equipped as an apartment and with kind and helpful staff. Quality of bed excellent, the bathroom big and the living room spacious. Very quiet.

The hotel was good ; There is a small center with some shops around and few restaurants; The location is quite and no busy area near you need to take a taxi to go around; Many Taxi drivers can not find easy the location while not many taxis are available around; The staff was very welcoming and speaking well English and the room was very convenient with internet access etc;. If you need to print, but you need to send it by email to the business office/reception and they will be able to print it for you. The room was clean always with ability to open window and get a fresh air that was very good.

Well equipped rooms”
Smooth check-in and very comfortable room. Convenience store on ground florr has good selection of basic foods/drinks/etc at reasonable prices. Huge and comfortable bed, nice sofa, plenty of closets, good light tight curtains. Complete kitchen with good sized fridge/ freezer, hobs and microwave, coffer maker, rice cooker, etc. Dining table in separate nook. Bathroom is rather basic, only tub in studio, bigger units have separate shower stall. Everything worked OK, but radiator/towel rail intrudes if using shower in the tub. Location is walking distance from airport express station, but can be difficult to get to in a taxi if not familiar with the area.

Lovely hotel and service with a smile”
Got a great stayed in this hotel but on the 30/12/2012, a wedding function was held at the 2nd floor - 6.30am !!!!! This should not be happening coz it disturb everyone staying there especially we are having a late nite back to hotel. I was really pissed off with all the noise and sincerely hope the hotel management shouldn't allow this to happen. Overall, it is a very beautiful n comfortable hotel which I will book again in future.

Convenient location”
The room was nice and clean. Good location. The only claw-back is that no wi-fi is provided in the room(you do have a cable point for free internet access).
