The resort offers a beautiful and spacious accommodation with an excellent and friendly staff. The perfect location and great amenities such as a heated spa, sauna, and tennis court make this resort a popular choice for guests. The inviting pool area is great for lounging and relaxation, and there are plenty of activities to keep guests entertained including a gym.
Some guests reported issues with outdated bathroom and uncomfortable beds. Problems with maintenance, pool closure, and dirty carpets also affected the overall experience of some guests.

Upon arrival, reception was outstanding. We had a ground floor room, next to the lagoon pool. Room was clean and a great size. Nice to be able to sit outside on the balcony next to the lagoon pool. We had breakfast at the resort restaurant, a bit pricey but food was great. Only issues we had were; 1/ Kids in the spa’s , screaming and yelling and wearing inflatable rings and animals, no parents around to supervise, so we could use them. 2/ Plantation shutters in the room let in the morning sun. Ours was broken at the top, and wouldn’t slide properly. 3/ The most disturbing was waking up, going onto the balcony, only to see 2 Dogs on the adjacent balcony, next to the lagoon pool. Resort clearly states No Dogs. Now yes I could understand if they were Guide Dogs, but they were just the owners own dogs. If you are allergic to dogs, you could have an issue staying here.

Only 1 bedroom had air con and we ended up having to squeeze in that one bedroom as it was getting too hot at night. -It can get quite noisy even towards quite late in the night with people walking talking outside, kids noises etc. We are already on the upper floor. -we never get to use the spa pool in the 2 days we stayed because it was always occupied by the kids

We were greeted with a wonderful receptionist and were given our room promptly. We were accidentally given a room with two single beds which reception quickly changed rooms for us. We then decided to upgrade our room which they were happy accomodate. Rooms were clean, all amenities were stock up and we settled quickly in. Pool was amazing although cold but did not deter us from jumping in. Great place for couples and families. We will definitely be staying here again.

As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by beautiful, kind, and extremely helpful staff. They directed us where to go, assisted us with everything we needed, and handed us our room assignment with so much warmth. We booked a dual-key swim-out room and honestly, it blew us away. The space was huge — full kitchen, a lovely bedroom, a spa in the bathroom, and the best part: direct access to the pool straight from our balcony. Pure heaven! The entire room and the whole resort were spotless too. No dust, no funky smell, fresh linens — you can really tell how well they maintain everything. The pool… wow. The enormous pool was so calm and relaxing. People were floating, enjoying the water, walking laps around it — the whole atmosphere was peaceful and refreshing. Another great thing is the location. The resort is so accessible to activities, restaurants, and the nearby shopping centre, which made everything so convenient. We fell in love with this place instantly. When it was time to check out, we actually felt sad — so sad that we decided to extend for one more day just to enjoy it even more. That’s how good it was. Literally the best stay ever. Already planning our next visit. ❤️

“Perfect Get-away!”
We had a fantastic experience at Oaks Port Stephens! The location is perfect — peaceful, scenic, and close to everything you need. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with beautiful views that made our stay even more relaxing. The staff were welcoming, professional, and always happy to assist with any requests. The resort amenities, especially the pool and surrounding gardens, were well-maintained and created such a calm atmosphere. It’s an ideal spot for a relaxing getaway or a family trip — we’ll definitely be coming back again soon. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Port Stephens!
