Great value good location clean and peaceful”
Stayed one night with my wife during our visit to guangzhou. The hotel room we booked has a fully equipped kitchenette and even a washing machine and dryer. That is very impressive for me personally because I love to make tv snacks and the fact that i do not need to pay extra to get my laundry done is very big value for me. The room has big windows and very clean. The bed is awesome, huge and high. The location is not that far from metro and there is a shopping mall just across the street. There are lots of restaurants and a supermarket there, which makes it even more convenient for us. Guangzhou is usually busy and noisy but in the hotel room you just feel very quiet and peaceful. Also the gym is proper and breakfast decent.

Good service, great location ”
It’s located in the center of the town. Nearby has many eateries and big malls. Walking distance to many subway line. Room are big and clean. I must give compliments to all the staff. They are friendly and helpful. And they went extra miles. After check out, we depart to airport. Then we found that a bag with passport, money and mobile was left at hotel lobby. The staff rush all the way to airport to meet us with no extra charges ask from us. We are amazed by their excellent service level. Thanks to all the Oakwood hotel staff. Will come back and stay again

I CHOSE THIS HOTEL BECOS OF THE ROOM SIZE AND LOCATION. IN THE END WE GOT MORE. ROOMS WERE SPACIOUS AND CLEAN AND SERVICE WAS PROMPT. SMALL REPAIRS WERE DONE EVEN WITHOUT OUR COMPLAINTS. Wouldn’t agree with “5 stars””
I don’t agree with the category of 5 stars hotel... it might be a 4, if so. The gym is indeed great as some other reviews have stated; but the room was not the greatest, bathroom had some mold stains and smelled HORRIBLY like drain. The WiFi NEVER worked at my room even after complaining. For the price, wouldn’t recommend. The neighborhood is nice and pretty, but I think there are better options for what I paid.
