A dream holiday”
We just booked for a one night stay given the per night stay was expensive plus Desaru was new to us. It was really an amazing getaway for us because of two important thing... The breathtaking view of the property, rainforest and unpolluted sea and secondly the homely feeling because of the way we were treated by O&O staffs, simply magic! Cleanliness was the chart topper-Super clean. Above all the second day mostly was spent at Amber beach club within the property and it was the most beautiful experience by the pool and enjoying the swim at the beach. Food was great! Worth the money spent and above all my wife really loved the ambience and privacy of the suite. You should give it a try!

One & Only Desaru Coast truly live up to its name. Its an exceptional experience from the moment the gate opened for us. Great hospitality from all the staffs, amazing amenities provided in the suite, and anywhere you go within OODC vicinity, delicious spread of breakfast, fantastic facilities. We are a family of 3, with a 4 yo. We had him play at the Kids Only Club with reliable counsellors there to play and care for your child, while we occupy ourselves with adult activities not far from the Kids Only club - there's variety of activities for everyone, literally - all activities are very well equipped even provided water and towels. We would definitely love to return back to OODC. Thank you for the great 3D2N stay!

Very Nice Place and Landscape, But Dirty Beach”
The place is luxurious. You'll feel like you don't want to get out of the room. Suitable place to unwind/relax. Amazing food too! Everything is great. However, if you come for the beach, you might be disappointed as the beach is not that clean. Lots of rubbish and smelly too. Thank you.

Mother daughter trip”
Last minute trip with my special needs daughter so was a bit apprehensive about accessibility and going without support. Very well maintained and the most tranquil architecture blended in with nature. The resort went above and beyond and made our first trip just the two of us a very memorable one. Specially the spa, one of the best massages I’ve had and very accommodating and helpful as I had to go with my 4 yr old. One small hiccup right at the end with a food order and a bit delayed with getting the bill ready for check out when requested in advance, didn’t expect that. But will definitely recommend and will visit again as a family

Luxurious Escapade”
A very luxurious, exclusive, spacious, comfortable resort. The resort is very well designed, with due consideration in preserving the original vegetation on site, which is a huge plus point. Very nice main pool, which extends towards the beach into lush vegetation. The beach club has a great vibe and sits right in front of a fantastic beach. The villa suite is very spacious, in particular, the bathroom and bathtub are very nice indeed. Staff are very friendly and willing to help, service is great but not impeccable, as there are minor shortcomings (eg forgetting orders). Overall, awesome experience, but as a luxury resort one ponders some policy decisions, such as non open bar in the villa as well as the extremely exorbitant prices on foods and drinks (even for a luxury resort).

We had a wonderful stay at the resort. The resort is very thoughtful to have prepared almost all the necessary things when we said we are bringing a baby with us. Like bottle steriliser milk warmer. Higher category rooms are not worth it; the cheapest rooms are beautiful”
The property is a gorgeous sight. It is absolutely stunning though there’s isn’t much of a beach. I didn’t realise that every room would have it’s own private pool. We decided to pay extra to get an oceanfront view. Suite 16 was what we were allocated and the view was 85% trees with 15% ocean. The title and photos on the website are misleading. Should’ve been something along the lines of “ocean front with garden and partial sea view”. Almost all the rooms next to us were also empty so I’m not sure why we were placed there and why they refused us early checkin and a late checkout. We should’ve gone for the cheapest rainforest room since there was almost no difference Food was surprisingly spectacular. Chef Fendi made the perfect short ribs and bouillabaisse. A must order! Thinking about those two dishes put a smile to my face. Breakfast was delicious too. Selection is sizeable. I generally get uncomfortable with extensive food spreads due to food wastage so this was just right. I must say, inroom dining was horrible which was surprising considering all the other gastronomic experiences we had. Plus points on sustainability initiatives. Did not see any single-use plastic bottles or disposable straws. Toiletries were also of bamboo toothbrushes and no unnecessary plastic packaging. Service is obviously lacking. Staff are very junior and rather clueless. For a luxury resort, the service is pale. Not the most proactive or knowledgeable staff. I appreciate that they are helpful, friendly and are trying hard. Just that veterans in this industry are needed for the price point. We received conflicting information each time. Made requests on whatsapp or phone call and most of them were not addressed at all or not addressed well. An example, we called for help for our window and tv issues in the morning, by dinner time still no one had arrived. We had to prompt them again. Another example, was that our nature walk was booked for 5pm but it was still raining. Instead of t
