Spacious room and great view of the Mekong”
Really liked the size of the room, comfy mattress and view. Asian bathroom, a little small but good shower with lots of hit water. Midway between market and tourist area with some decent local food options close by. Has money exchange, and can arrange tours and transport. Pity they don't do breakfasts.

Ridiculously, unbearably hot. ”
The room was like a sauna in the evening. Literally like a sauna there was a blast of moist heat when you opened the door. Air con but no fan. With air con set to maximum and high power turned on and the bathroom door closed one spot on the bed was almost ok. If I stayed there again I wouldn’t take a 5th floor room. It was the room not the climate, I’m used to it and my partner’s from here but neither of us could sleep. Also the wifi only worked if you sat by the door. If the air con worked it would be a nice room.

Good spot”
No complaints. Decent facilities.

Not for me.”
It looks nice from the outside but the room was worn out and not too clean, same as the bathroom. WiFi is only available in the lobby. The cleaners are noisy in the mornings and you can hear them shouting and screaming along the corridors. It's also a bit of a walk into town and outside the hotel there are road works happening so it's not exactly peaceful. Hotel has no food options and there are better places around for a cheaper price.

Nice clean hotel on the Mekong river”
Nice hotel on the Mekong with a rooftop terrace that is great for watching the sunrise or sunset. Pakse is a small city. It's a 5-10 minute walk to the 'main area' of the city. Pakse the town itself does not have much to offer, but it is possible to get to Wat Phou or 4000 Islands pretty easily.

Price value, central location”
We only stayed one night in Pakse to continue our travel. The hotel was a good choice and offered a fair value for the money. The hotel might require some renovation but is in good condition. It features a very nice roof top restaurant with great food and a decent breakfast.

Fine for one night”
A comfortable stay in a clean, spacious room. The hotel appears new and seems to cater to Chinese tourists (or maybe it was just that we were there around Chinese New Year). Wi-fi worked but only in the lobby; the router in our hallway didn’t seem up to the job. Managers didn’t speak enough English to help us book a tour or arrange a tuk-tuk. Nice location with a view of the Mekong. We slept well; what more can you ask?

Clean and friemdly hotel well situated by the river.”
This is a nice hotel, we stayed for 6 nights using it as a base for touring the area. In the hotel descripton it was noted "no breakfast", however, you can get a morning cup of coffee, on the house, buy some biscuits your set to go. Language, if you only speak English is a problem but not unsumountable, WiFi is strong so use translate phone app. Any negative points are outside the hotels control. The river bank directly outside the hotel is used as a tipping ground by locals, this has a definite aroma when up close. Good restaurants are 10/15 minute walk away as are the tour operators and other amenities. My view is a good standard hotel, reasonable value in a nice if slightly out of town setting.

Lovely hotel with a beautiful view of the Mekong ”
This hotel was great. So much so that we went back there a week later for an overnight stay. The only thing was that it was hard to find none who spoke english in the whole staff. Sometimes we were lucky and one of the travelers spoke english. Otherwise it was great. 24 hour coffee and tea and smiling staff.

The Best View of the Mekong”
I have stayed at this hotel many times and once for over a month, just for the view you will not be disappointed. however the staff are great and will try their best to help you. They don't need a restaurant as the competition nearby is so great and so many to try too.

Quiet during rainy season”
Ongoing Maekon river work could be disturbing for some. We had 5th floor river view overlooking golden Buddha which was great to wake up to. Free coffe available in reception. Staff pleasant. Easy access to bars and restaurants and markets

Okay but not over the top”
Our stay was okay, in a room on the top floor with a beautiful view on the mighty Mekong. The shower was not great as the pressure of the hot water kept changing, so you either burn yourself or freeze... No food served at all though which is a bit of a downside. The restaurants nearby are ok, but we did find it hard to communicate with the staff at the hotel or at the restaurants even though we can speak 3 languages between myself and my partner. As we left Paksé to come back there a couple of days later we preferred to book a room in a different hotel when we came back. Overall, it's okay if you need the bear minimum, although it might be a bit overpriced for what it has to offer.
