Pazhou Exhibition Center Area hotels & places to stay

Really new hotel opened January 2018. Beautiful high ceiling lobby, comfy and luxurious rooms. A+ service from staff, notably Charlie Chen. Complimentary shuttle to the fair available. Cons: Nothing much to do in the area. Not walking distance to the fair, shuttle still takes around 10 minutes. If you want to save some money per night and have something to do after the fair, might be better to book a hotel in the city center.

About as close as you can get to the convention center. The hotel is actually very hard to find at first with no signage. Best thing to do is go to the Pazhou metro and go up the stairs in-between C and D escalator exits. Then follow the long underground tunnel to the very end and exit into an underground garage and take the elevator up to the ground level. The entrance to the hotel is about 15 feet away from there. The room itself was very modern with a nice view of the river. There are only a limited number of in-room safes so you have to call and request one. My shower head was broken and they fixed it the same day I reported it. The kitchen facilities are nice but there are no cookware or tableware. Be careful of the refrigerator, I accidentally froze my bottles of water! Wireless internet was strong but service would come and go occasionally. The biggest problem is the lack of dining options in the area. You can either get fast food at the metro station, walk two blocks to the Westin hotel, or take the metro to Kecun station. But nothing nearby.

I have booked this apartment 4 year in a row and seems now new company is in charge. They are doing some changes and replace some furnishing items and furniture. I think a lot more must be done but anyhow still good place to stay. The rooms still clean including bed sheets and cleaning room service is also good. Only missing the safety box in the room. The staff is friendly and helpfull. Very convenient if there is any exhibition taking place nearby. Also PWCT area each and every year there are more coffee shops or place to have breakfast or lunch and just some meters from Pazhou Metro Station.

This was my first time to booking this hotel. Because a checked it is near the PazHou exhibition center. And I amazing think is this hotel provide shuttle bus to exhibition in the morning. MTR station is so close so very convenient travel to other places. Hotel with breakfast that mean give us KFC , Mcdonald vonchor, wet market & hospital so close to us . I booked standard room with big bed. it's about 100 sq feet. I think is OK but the WIFI is not work. I will book this hotel next time

The room : I stay in 2 double beds room (for 3 people). There are 2 Double beds in the room but one of them is too hard but it's not too bad. Toilet is super clean more than Chinese standard. The hotel provide free water bottles and breakfast everyday. Breakfast is so so , They will give you a coupon for simple breakfast and then just walk to 4 or 5 blocks from the hotel and you will see the restaurant. Internet is too slow. If you stay close to a router, maybe it will be more fast. Well, I have to sit at the corridor or front of my room for wireless. Anyway, after you walk in to the room, no signal immediately!. Yes, There is a computer in the room also but useless, maybe just word or excel. Moreover, if you stay near the window, you don't need to set up your alarm , you will wake up suddenly after 6 - 7 am because you will heard horn every morning. Location : It's good. There are many convenient store , drug store and bus stop. You can walk to subway in 5 mins. it's very close. BUT it's hard to find a taxi. If you want to go the airport , just let a staff know, they will call a taxi (250 RMB including toll way charging) Staff : Nice! They try to help every guests, Mostly, they can speak English . Even maids, they are so nice too.. Tip : If you come here for Canton fair, here is a good place for staying . it's just 3 or 4 station from Chigang station to pazhou station. Moreover, they provide a car for sending and picking up to-from canton fair 4 times per day for free BUT i recommend you should go by yourself because you need to wait and their car is too small (only 10 or 13 persons / car) Oh. yes.. there is foot massage on this hotel as well.

I travelled for the Canton Fair; great location - 5-10 minute walk to subway; two minute walk to buses. Hotel is in an IT park and was very quiet. No bugs, room was clean, everything worked. A bit tricky getting to hotel until you know where it is. Bonus was western breakfasts (bacon, ham, eggs, toast) and fruits. Free transport to and from fair also a bonus. We were treated well.

Enjoyed staying at this hotel, not bad value for Guangzhou and close to the canton fair complex. It is not far from chigang metro station on line 8, only 2 stops from the trade and exhibition center and 3/4 stops to the mall of the world in downtown Guangzhou. The room was large enough, clean and tidy with a great shower (rain shower or you could change to the hose nozzle shower). Did like that the music started playing as you came in, nice touch and relaxing easy to listen to music choice. Only found 1 English Channel and unfortunately no window however this didn’t bother me as the room was adequate. Food street a couple of blocks away 15min walk and kecun station plus other choices near the hotel with a cha time down stairs (which seemed to have a dog group meet most nights of the week🐶). In room WiFi also made it easy. I would recommend this hotel if you need easy access to both the trade and exhibition center and main part of the city. It was a great base.

I and my colleagues went to Guangzhou led Fair during June 8-12,2013.When I go to the hotel I felt that it is very nice and good area because Lingwu Hotel is located is nearly the exhibition center with also there are shuttle bus go to the exhibitions during the day.Besides, the rooms is so wide and clean,the staff is service mind to support us for travel as they help us to contact with the courier to pick up all cataloges when we got the fair.finally, if we will go to Guangzhou I decide to resevered this hotel again.

The service personnel are friendly and willing to go out of the way to assist you. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, though it is a bit old. The only con is its distance from the city centre. Taking cab to city centre can be costly (approx 40 to 60 rmb one way). I would recommend to take cab to somewhere nearer (eg. exhibition centre) and take the metro, if time is not an issue. Its proximity to the exhibition centre is a bonus though, if you are attending conferences and events.

Hotel staff are quite friendly. However, if you are a traveler without knowledge of Chinese, you will have a hard time communicating because the staff do not know English. Since we can communicate in Mandarin, I am quite happy with the hotel and its staff. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Also, if you are going to Canton Fair, the hotel offers shuttle service to Canton Fair so it is very convenient. The hotel is located inside a small street so it is hard to walk into, but I can say, it is also part of its charm. Once you walk out of the small street, there is a large mall with MRT station so it is still in quite a convenient location. Rooms are also spacious compared to Hong Kong hotels.

first time arrived in guangzhou it took us 40 minutes from airport to this hotel.I recommended u print the chinese address because taxi driver doesnt understand english address. We arrived and check in. The room is small and quite clean. The staffs are nice and the manager also very nice but cant really speak english. The hotel is quite new. Beside the hotel there are some restaurant as well. If you are planning to take the mtr. U have to walk around 10minutes.Chi Gang station. If you want to visit Canton Fair in Guangzhou this hotel is not near Canton Fair. Its far but yes you can take the MTR but not walking. It the same line with Pazhou (line 8). For me, I will rate this hotel 7 out of 10. The hotel is quite clean. Staffs are nice. Mtr is quite near and you will find in front of the hotel accros the street good food (steamboat). Value of money is cheap too.

Perfect budget hotel near Kecun Station, just 3 station from Pazhou station (Canton Fair).. Outside hotel there's many restaurant and also street food. Beside hotel there's a Pizza restaurant that sell Durian Pizza if u're interested.. And at morning when u go to the Kecun Station, you can buy breakfast like Bakpao , Siomay, and many traditional Chinese breakfast along the street.. If u want to go to Canton Tower and Pearl River, u can walk around 15-20 minutes from this hotel, quite near for me..

Look the place is close to Metro station Wenshengwei and only one stop from the Pazhou convention centre. But the two young blokes at reception took forever to check me in. Then they told me they had to cancel my Agoda payment and pay directly to them for the room. I have used Agoda for a few years and knew this want the case. I refused to accept that and after a half an hour of me not wanting to give them my credit card to charge me for the room again, they relented. The room is large and spacious, and a usual Chinese apartment style setup. Live amongst permanent residents. In a university area. Plenty of food. Takes about ¥9 to get from Guangzhou Baiyun airport (1hr) and needs one line change.

Good place near underground station and there are many shops and fast food outlets. This hotel is close to Pazhou exhibition complex and only 15-20 minits by taxi. They provide bus to exhibition as well. Staf is kind and helful. But hotel itself and rooms in disrepair. One wall was mouldy. When you take shower you have to stand in "pool" as water does not soak in quickly. No window in room. There is no breakfast at all. I will not stay here again.
