Nice hotel in good location”
Stayed 5 nights here, location is great just 2mins walk to the Chung Wen Men MTR. Many shopping stores around the vicinity and also a 24hours convenience store within the hotel itself. Overall stay was good and will consider coming back here again.

Great location. Nearest station is just few steps away, surrounded by a few shopping malls. Friendly and helpful staffs who can speak diff languages and helped us to book entrance ticket to some tourist spots. Breakfast was okay. Overall satisfactory stay.

I vistited in Beijing for 4th anniversary after me and my gril-friend was met. we booked this hotel because it's location is nearby ten-an-men. when we check-in that hotel, we felt cozy because of staff's attitude. they were so kindly. we had a fantastic trip in Beijing, thanks to this hotel.

It doesnt look like a four star hotel”
We experienced road blocks during the rehearsal of the china national day where main roads back to hotel are all blocked. However, hotel frontdesk didnt inform us at all about the condition which made us nearly caught up outside on the street. The toilet door cannot be locked and the bathroom is rather small for a four star hotel. The bathing area also extremely small. The location is extremely convenient with lots of shopping mall around it while MRT station just across the street. Could reconsider if have other better options.

Front desk staff needs more training”
The hotel was located at a convenient location within steps to the closest subway station on line 2. Breakfast had a decent variety which suited us. The main downside is the front desk staff was not able to advise that there was a holding deposit upon check-in and when asked how much the deposit was, he could not provide the exact number but instead gave a rough figure. Also when picking up the luggage which we left after check-out, the front desk staff did not bother to retrieve the luggage but instead us to pick it out ourselves.

A Decent Option”
The room was difficult to keep cool with the a/c unit, thankfully the windows could open and it was cool enough in the evenings that we could sleep well. The bed was not the softest but certainly not the hardest I have experienced. Styling was... interesting. The breakfast was decent but nothing to write home about. For the price and the location, I would say this was a good choice, and overall we were happy with our stay.

Initially wanted to cancel the booking as seeing too many bad reviews on the staff not being friendly and showing long face. However, could not cancel as cancellation is not fully refunded. Hence, we proceed for the stay in this hotel. We booked standard king size bed room but have been upgraded to their so-called family suite cuz the hotel booking was very full. However, the family suite is big but smell of musty even though they provided the air purifier in the room. My partner complaint the sofa and mattress full of mites And caused him whole body super itchy. Besides, The design of the wardrobe is super duper old and the toilet flush is very weak, had to try many times then only can get it cleaned. Not a very satisfied stay tho. Besides, noted all front desk staff really never smiled to their guest, staff should be trained to be more friendly and customer feel they are welcomed.

Location, Convenient, Clean, Staff performance”
I am regularly stayed in this hotel since years ago while it was named courtyard. I like the location, it is one minute to subway and easy to go anywhere by subway, shopping area close to KFC, McDonald. The hotel is nice and comfortable, room is nice, modern equipped, simple room design and I was able to work in my room. I extended my stay at the same hotel without any further thoughts. I will book Pentahotel again for my visit next March. Cleaning staff are perfect, The Stuff at the front desk has less experience Check in/out was efficient and staff is generally helpful. The breakfast is good, offering both Western and Chinese Style but there is no many options were available but it is much better than many hotels in Beijing. Hotel also has coffee bar right at the lobby.

Courtyard Marriott”
After a long check in process we got our rooms. Both were a nice comfortable size room with nice bothroom. Hotel provides good amenities. It was my birthday during my stay at the Courtyard Marriott and they delivered a surprise cake for me. A nice touch from the hotel. The location was excellent. Close to the metro station and Tiananmen square and Temple of Heaven is only a walking distance. A great hotel to stay at and value for money for sure.

Grand Location, Cozy and value for money ”
First I like to thank to miss. Summer, our check it process are very fast and Summer speak very well English, she is very informative, and very friendly. All front desk staff are very professional, no conscience available. We must carry our luggage to the room, but they provide the trolley. Fair enough. The room is very nice, huge king size bed and very clean and comfortable. There are a long cushion for 3rd person. WiFi works very well. One thing I am not happy with the lights in bed room, too dark, I hardly can see clearly, the bath room is perfect, lightening, shower and amenities all super. Size of the room is quite large. Penta hotel didn't serve breakfast but they have two nice restaurant located on ground floor, noodles restaurant and pizza restaurant. Best thing I love of Penta hotel is the location were surrounded by shopping center, 100 % all of people's need are there. Subway are just 5 minutes walk to the left side of the hotel and bus station as well. Miss. Summer introduced Da Wan Ju restaurant for us, for this I thank to her, we eat our lunch and dinner every day there. She really have a good knowledge of her city. Just walk about 10 minutes to the right , after the shopping mall turn to right and walk straight to the restaurant. I strongly recommend Penta Hotel if you visit Beijing, aether for business, honeymoon, families trip or with friends. Thanks to Penta Hotel

Great Central Location In Beijing”
This hotel was recently renovated so the rooms are clean and well designed. Renovation still ongoing in some parts of hotel between 8:30AM and 6:30PM for those afternoon sleepers. Some comments indicate hard beds (and they are) we mentioned this to the front desk and 10minutes later a nice foam pad was put on our bed. The price was great for the standard of hotel. It was centrally located to all the tourist sites and subway was only 200m away and very convenient (line 5 exit D be prepared for a few steps). Staff was very helpful and efficient at checking. We arrived at 7:30AM and room was ready, also they were accommodating to late checkout. Maybe the staff has changed since prior reviews mentioned slow checking. Great food court and supermarket in mall attached to hotel. There are also some great restaurants within a few minute walk. Breakfast plenty of options outside hotel (supermarket opens at 8:30AM). Nice spa 50m from hotel out hotel to the left. Taxi ride to food street, Sunday market, and most other places all cheap. Watch out for black taxi's parked in front of hotel they seem to be more pushy and seem to take the long way (we compared between green/yellow taxi to same place). Taxis are frequent in front of hotel or just around corner from hotel.

Booked 2 rooms, arrived in the morning but luckily hotel allowed me to check in earlier as rooms were ready. Hotel lobby is located behind the shopping centre which I didn't find it and walked further. Rooms were clean and location is excellent. Room will be makeup everyday, towels were clean and water pressure is high. Great job to their housekeeping department. Lobby's staffs r helpful. Shopping centre below ( hotel 5th floor connected ), it was easy to find restaurant on that floor too. I recommend 八斗鸡 （ 8th Douji ) on 5th floor. Department store and supermarket had lots of choices. Opposite the road ( use underpass ) is another shopping centre where food n clothes n other funny things can be found too. Subway is about 200m from hotel, but prepare to walk a lot of staircases when u use subway in Beijing. Chongwenmen station is convenient as it has 2 interchange which traveler mostly used. Overall, I will definitely stay in this hotel again for my next visit.
