No geral o hotel oferece todas as comodidades de um hotel de topo, porém o preço é um pouco elevado para a realidade do mesmo. A piscina é uma boa maneira para relaxar da agitação de Mumbai e o pessoal é simpático e prestativo! A zona de Colaba é sem dúvida a melhor zona para se ficar na cidade, segura e um pouco menos stressante! O restaurante perto da piscina é uma óptima opção para o jantar.

Taj hotel employees are absolutely fantastic, they sincerely look after you and take care of every small things to make sure that you have a good time during your entire stay at the hotel. Rooms are clean, decent size and have good views of the Arabian sea.

Value for money but lacks exclusive 5 star treatment ”

Check in could be better, had to wait over 10minutes and room was not ready so had to wait a further 10minutes, even though we arrived at 14:30 and our check in time was 14:00. Massage at the spa was one of the best we have ever had, but again at check in we were not given out discount voucher so had to go chasing this. The swimming pool and gym is of good quality. Great attentive staff in these areas including spa. The winks bar was good. The room quality is okay. The bathroom could be better it is too small and no where to hang your clothes in it overall the cleanliness is good and the room cleaners are fantastic. The Thai pavilion is good, but again not able to apply discount as they don't have access to this information on their system. It was our parents anniversary and I do have to say they did make it special. The location is good. I would come back.

Really great hotels ”

We stayed here three nights when we arrived in Mumbai. The first mention would have to be the staff. The staff were absolutely amazing. Every single one of them were so helpful and polite. The rooms were getting a little old but still nicely appointed, very comfortable and absolutely spotless. The buffet breakfast was outstanding, the choice was phenomenal and food delicious. We ate one night in their Indian restaurant food was good there too. Pricey of course conparws to outside but you expect that. My only complaint would be that the pool was under renovation and couldn’t be used and I wasn’t aware of this. I specially chose a hotel which had a pool so this was definitely a dampener on our stay. However after all the other good things I just can’t complain.

It's a 5 Star Charges -But Wondered why Pickup and Drop service is Not free from the Hotel to Airport Also when requested the charged very high double.

Hi I got a good deal at the taj vivanta n my stay was very nice The staff being very friendly,specially Ms pooja chavan at the reception helped me with a smooth and quick check in It was a decent size room,and the all day dining food was nothing exclusive but ok. Over all it was a comfortable and joyous stay THANK YOU,,.....TAJ

Lovely stay in a lovely hotel”

The rooms were clean and properly appointed (I enjoyed the bathroom very much—especially the shower and the toiletries), and we received excellent service from housekeeping, including a complimentary shoe shine. The room phones could benefit from upgrading though. The front desk staff were also extremely nice and very accommodating, except for one woman, who, while also courteous, was not as quick in addressing some of my concerns compared to the others. The staff at the hotel restaurants were also very good and attentive. I had enjoyed my stay at this hotel, and will recommend it to friends.

I am not satisfied with there reception attendance i told him i paid my room charges to agoda he said but it was not reflected to us so u kindly pay the same and he wasted my 1 hour so i paid and tomm they were saying yes we received it that means they dont trust on coustmer.so i am not happy with there behavioer .

My stay was a good one. It will be a very memorable one. We were on a short holiday with my daugther whose holiday will be her last one with both me and my wife. We were doing her wedding shopping. She will getting married on the 22/03/2014. She always accompany us on our yearly holiday to India. She is my only daughter. So this will hold plesant memories.

I had a very comfortable stay at Vivanta by Taj President. The breakfast is great at Trattoria. I would suggest going here for breakfast instead of Konkan. Konkan is good for lunch and dinner. The room sizes are good and the bed is very comfortable. Overall a very good stay without any complaints!

i enjoyed my stay. i will definetlty comeback. i always take my leave during january and i spent 5 weeks with my family travellling in india, whioch i love. my children always want the taj to stay. i am an attorney and i enjoy teh relaxation in this luxury hotel.

Great Valuable Place to Stay in Colaba Mumbai”

i stayed 3 nights, checked in friday 16th, checed out monday 19th. took a prepaid taxi from the airport.- rupee incl. airport taxi charge (15.- rp). taxi drove thru the middle of mumbai to hotel, spent exactly 1 hour! i stayed in the room 310, pool view. i took the taxi with meter to gateway about 15 minutes and about 30.- rp. i even walked to gateway and walked back to hotel, about 45 mins (for each way). i took a ferry to elephanta cave, but had to get the from gateway area. you go to the front area of gateway entrance, and will find 2 companies for elephanta cave ticket ferry. they provide.- rp for round trip ferry. it will take about 1 hour by ferry. entrance fee at the island for foreigners is 250.- rp, and 10.- rp for indian! you should go in the morning time, coz ferry last trip is at 03:00 pm. i also walked from gateway,..just went to the northern part according to street with street shops around, and among europian architechture, then almost 2 hours, i found chhatrapati shivaji termunus or indian railway. and also walked back! it's about 30 mins by taxi meter to marine drive, and about 60-70.- rp. but the beach is not clean at all. there is no metro in mumbai, the best way is by taxi with yellow-black (no aircondition) or cap with blue-white (with air-con). first night at 10:30, i wanted to sleep and open my blanket, and found hairs!! was really shock!, tried to clean, but they were not few, but more and i moved and checked blanket, i even saw more. i ring immediately "ask" call and made changed all my bed stuffs! it was a big surprise to see that things at a famous 5 stars, but i did not really feel bad. on sunday, there was a politics event, so hotel kindly requested all guests stayed at the hotel. no any transportation, no shops at all. but i still walked to gateway and back, and no problem. there were many indian guests at the hotel. in the evening, i spent my boring day at the bar "wink". very cozy, nice, polite.

Indisputably the best Hotel with excellent staff”

I stayed from 24th July to 28th. I extended to 31st because making a total 7 nights. The staff were excellent, right from security, main entrance, front office and house keeping. The hotel is clean, and homely. Every staff at the hotel wants to assist. It made me feel I want to go back soon!

Good business hotel in nice location”

Very nice hotel in a nice residential location. Excellent service and good restaurants offering Thai and Indian food. Bar also nice with good vibes in the evening. Service is excellent and rooms well equipped. Recommended for business travellers.

First time in Mumbai, a very good experience with Vivanta President Hotel”

Our experience with Vivanta President Hotel in Mumbai was the best, most of it thanks to Mr. Ronak of reception. From check in till check out he personally took care at us and did his best efforts to meet our needs, doing it from his heart and with a lot of good spirit. Unusually, Mr. Ronak even refused to take a tip from us when he got out from the reception desk to the taxi waiting outside to take us to the airport. As we are going back to Mumbai in two weeks, we have already booked our stay at same hotel.

The entrance was grand, however the experience was very unpleasant once you get to the room. The room and bathroom is quite small and the room had a very odd smell, like moth balls. The constant check in and scanning of your bags and each and every time to return to the hotel was annoying. The breakfast restaurant was so small and the waiting time to sit down was too long. The food was excellent though.
