Location was convenient ( 2 min walk from high speed rail ). Breakfast was sumptuous and free late night meal was absolutely delectable (we had local Hsinchu rice noodles and meat ball soup before getting rest, really tasty). We had a very relaxing and quiet stay in this remote hotel. It is on a mountain and quite remote. We drove straight there from Taoyuan airport in about 50mins. The dinner and breakfast was very good. There is a friendly dog and a cat on the compound and they were a joy to be around.
I personally think the hotel room and the facilities are quite out-dated. The breakfast doesn't taste good. Unless you really want to enjoy some fresh air and natural scene otherwise I don't recommend this place much. I admit their room charge is pretty cheap and the room is big, and this is the reason for me to have a try.

i stayed for 2 nights in this lovely hotel. conveniently located in the heart of hsinchu city, the train station, shopping mall, fast food stores, convenience stores etc are just a stone's throw away from the hotel. the room isn't very big, but the bedding is comfortable and the room is clean. my only complaint is there was no window in the room.
should state that the hotel is near the popular "miaow cheh". quite a distance from the bus station - it will be good if transport is provided. to offer 1 day trip to places of interest in hsinchu especially for foreigners. include in the website, places of interest in hsinchu as references for customers.

Check in is only at 3pm.. I arrive at 2pm but was informed that i can only check in at 3pm.. Was carrying a luggage at the time, the staff refuse to let me check in 1 hr earlier or put my luggage at the counter so that i can have my lunch nearby.. The place is fine and breakfast is great! The facilities were excellent, breakfast was good, only 100 m walking distance to department store but unfortunately the whole place is full of smoke smells. Door is hard to open.

This is a great place for stopover if you are not planning to go into Hsinchu city. We heard it serve great breakfast, didn't believe it until we tried. Really is something to look forward to when staying at this place.
