Jerusalem District hotels & accommodations

The legacy and tradition of Waldorf Astoria implemented in the heritage of Jerusalem. The combination of the most modern hotel facilities in a building that preserves the styles of the multicultural heritage of ancient Jerusalem is a unique and marvelous experience.

I have been visiting Jerusalem every 6 weeks for nearly four years and would have stayed here more often had it been more central. The reception staff and those in the downstairs bar and restaurant are exceptional. The building has a great sense of history, although the rooms can be a bit disappointing and the "de luxe" rooms could do with a touch more effort on the de...

Jerusalem is NOT a cheap city, so this hotel is reasonable for its standard. It is NOT as cheap as comparable Ibis hotels in other big cities. The breakfast is quite varied and a little different each day which is appreciated. The hotel WiFi is reasonable. The staff are lovely and accommodating. Check out time is 11am and don't even think to ask for late check out...

I was surprised (though perhaps shouldn't have been from the name) that this was very clearly a Christian-based, "church" hotel. Surprised as Jewish people visiting Jerusalem. However, given other even more pricey accommodations I had stayed at this and previous trips, I found the staff more friendly/welcoming than many other Israeli establishments, plenty of cleanline...

A lovely stay in a comfortable hotel. The city of Jerusalem is amazing and the Eldan was the perfect place to return to each night as a sanctuary. It is also in a wonderful location, diagonally across from The King David Hotel and across the street from the most beautiful YMCA I have ever seen. It was a nice walk down to Mamilla Shopping Mall, with some nice restaura...

I was in Jerusalem with my wife from July 30 to August 5. In my opinion the hotel is not a 4 but 3 star. But still for its price it’s a very good solution. The rooms are quite clean and well equipped. The breakfast is quite good. The hotel is situated not far from the Old City (only 5 minutes of walk to the nearest gate to the Old City and 10-13 minutes to the Church o...

The hotel is very close to the Damascus Gate of the Old City and has the flavor of Arab East Jerusalem from the lobby to the suites. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was more than adequate with wait staff in the dining area. It was a little difficult to find in the street mosaic of Jerusalem and street parking was limited so we parked in the hote...

I stayed in Jerusalem 4 nights, 2 nights in Jewish part Jerusalem - SHANI, MONTEFIORE, other 2 nights in hotel RITZ in moslim part of Jerusalem. Perfect staff at reception and perfect waitres at Breakfast and Bar. They worked very hard and i felt like a visitor of 5 star hotel in Dubai :-) And i apreciatte cleanliness all of the hotel.

We had the best time at the Post Hostel in Jerusalem. The staff was really super cool and helpful! The Post Hostel also offers various tours in Jerusalem. We arrived on Friday afternoon and did the Free Shabbat Tour with Shahar > best tour guide ever! The tour started at 6:15 so just right before sunset. It was a really magical experience to witness Shabbat at the West...

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay at the Inbal Hotel. The hotel is very close to the main attractions of Jerusalem. It will take not more than 10 minutes to reach 90% of these attractions. the staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay there again.

We were 2 senior aged couples off a cruise ship who stayed here 2 nights while we independently explored the old city of Jerusalem and Bethlehem. Located just a few steps from the Damascus Gate, this hotel is ideally located for the Old City. And Golden Walls also is close to the bus station from which we took buses round trip to Bethlehem. We will stay here again i...

They only accept cash and not credit cards which is disappointing, so if you travelling here either make sure Agoda charges your card immediately or take enough cash with you to settle the bill when you arrive. Money Exchanges and ATM's are problematic in Old Jerusalem.

Pros: is within a few minutes walk to the Garden Tomb, The Western wall Damascus gate, Jaffa gate and many other religious sites. There are many street shops and restaurants around the corner. The food was good and the staff from the restaurant are excellent people. Cons: it is located in a muslim neighborhood, so keep in mind that in the month of Ramada the...

It’s probably about a half mile from the old city of Jerusalem. It’s probably a good fifteen minute walk. On the way back it seems all up hill! The place was great. The breakfast was good. The price in the bar for two sodas and two french fries was about $20.00. There are some good Lebanese restaurants within a few blocks. Great place to stay

This is a hotel/ event place on a kibbutz in Jerusalem-- major benefit is the ease of access, not the usual case with kibbutzim. It does not have the luxury feel of an up-class hotel/ resort but it's nice, clean, and the staff, exceptionally friendly and helpful. There is an archaeological site on the premises, and historical sites from more recent history: the kibbutz...

We had an unbelievable stay at the Herbert Samuel. The staff from security, reception, manager, housekeeping,, and others were so gracious, accommodating, helpful, and truly personified 5-star service. The location is right where all the action is, walkable to the market, old city, shops, and restaurants. The pool, sauna, and breakfast view is definitely an added bon...

While the website claims that there is free parking available, the staff later claimed this only "if it's available." Unfortunately for most of our stay it was not. Even when there were clearly spaces in the very small lot that they have, they refused to allow us to use them. Unfortunately this, together with the fact that the apps for paying for parking in Jerusalem ...

We stayed at the Jerusalem Castle with my girlfriend for one night and everything was perfect! The location, accommodation, the view, staff and everything was great. We really enjoyed our stay in Jerusalem and the Jerusalem Castle gave our trip an extra happiness!

The location of the hotel and the price were on top of our list. This is a perfect location and room setup for a big families like us, we were couple with 5 kids. The rooms felt like they last renovated in the 70’s but kept well, and and I recommend that they will need to upgrade the electric outlet to the same they have in the dining room with the USB outlets. The br...

We stayed at the St. George Hotel on two separate occasions. The staff was extremely kind and quickly attentive to every question or need. Jiries and Majd gave directions, arranged shuttles or taxis, and were helpful to every guest we saw. The location of the hotel is perfect - close to the Old City and near many shops and food options. As an added bonus, there was a p...

It was great and awesome a night to remember for days on. I spent plenty of timejust wLking around and seeing the differsnt features of the plaza and it wasnt my first time being there or second. A comfortable hotel, kind of an "oasis" in the Muslim quarter of East Jerusalem. Gated courtyard separates you from being directly on the street, but with easy access to Herod's gate (5 minute walk from front door to entering the old city). "City View" rooms are really unbelievable to first time visitor to Jerusalem - looking directly out on the old city only a hundred...

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable, had everything we needed. Rooms and bathrooms very clean, the shower was fantastic! Nice breakfast with lots of options. The hotel staff were very polite and helpful. It is an an ideal location for exploring Jerusalem. Only a 10 minute walk to the Old City and right in the heart of the social scene of t...

I reserved the hotel through Agoda whose website gave no indication that it is a strict Jewish establishment and heavily frequented by Orthodox Jewish families. I arrived mid-morning on a Saturday (Shabbat) and was required to complete the formalities in some strange back room as, apparently, the sight of Reception staff using computers would have been offensive to so...

Modern & nice with a bit of an edge. (Paid $143/night. Staff are friendly - Nella at the front & Ahmed in the Dining room. Breakfast was terrific. Rooms are cozy - mine had lots of natural light. Bring your camera to the rooftop terrace for a terrific view. Location, staff, food all make this hotel a keeper.

I had an excellent stay at the Jerusalem Hills Inn. Chaim was very helpful and kind. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a lovely & delicious spread. I took a shared cab from Ben Gurion airport which was very easy-- even in the middle of the night.

I had a wonderful experience staying at the hotel and wanted to say thank you to the staff working there. The room I stayed was spacious and very very clean. Besides the comfort of the room, what amazed me the most was how lovely and helpful the staff were. One night I came in later after travelling to the West Bank and started to chit chat with two girls in the recept...

The hotels in Jerusalem are really expensive. For this hotel, it is not really worth the money but the location is compensating well and good since the Damascus Gate of City of David is just walking distance. Breakfast is ok, but i would rather skip it if I stay another day. There is also some repair works ongoing. The staff is really helpful during my stay, though h...

If you want value for money & no fuss accommodation in East Jerusalem then this is the place. Located between the Old City & Hebrew University (walk to both). This is an authentic Arab run, 1964 built hotel - sure it is a somewhat run down (and no fridge/kettle/coffee/tea) but it is clean, the staff are friendly & breakfasts great. Also a great water chiller (needed at...

Staff was very nice and welcoming. The room was just fine.. shower had great water pressure. There was a hint of a smell but I think that comes with an older building. The breakfast was a nice array of stuff. We are American and not kosher and it was a bit different than what we are used to. It is a great hotel for our style. It was in a good location in case you need ...

I had an amazing stay in this lovely hotel. I was so lucky to find this gem of a hotel in the middle of THE OLD CITY where I wanted to stay. I found the hotel online and booked a standard room, but once I got there , I was offered an upgrade to a deluxe room for $50/night more I was upgraded to a LOVELY room with an amazing VIEW of THE OLD CITY ! This used to be an old...

The Commodore is a great hotel at the foot of Jerusalem's old town - walking distance to Damascus gate is about 15 minutes. Our room was nicely furnished in an "international hotel" way, the bathroom was well equipped and modern. Housekeeping was very good, the room was really clean. The hotel offers a good breakfast buffet (lots of fresh cheeses, salads, humus etc., a...

Me and my girl decided to enjoy a bit of the luxury in Jerusalem and this place had this vibe. we arrived to this place because we needed a parking as well which here on Agoda it showed this place has parking which it doesn't have and doesn't have any agreement with the parking places around it so we had to pay for parking. we arrived to a very nice room with huge livi...

I stayed at St Georges Pilgrim Guesthouse for 18 days, the place was beautiful and clean, friendly and helpful staff especially Garo and Issa, always willing to help, they assisted me in booking couple of tours and booked a shuttle for my departure. I enjoyed the beautiful garden, my room and my comfortable bed. The breakfast was very good and most of the time they off...

We stayed at the Prima Royale Hotel in Jerusalem in late April 2018. Very nice facility and great location. Very convenient to many bus routes, walking distance to the Old City. Hotel was clean and service was mostly very good. Only part of staff that was lacking was the front desk staff (several people), who didn't really seem engaged or interested in helping. Fortun...

Everyone needs to know how wonderful the Leonardo Hotel is. We had a very tiring day traveling and when we arrived at the front desk, Nour and Abrahem were exceptional. They were professional, friendly and went ABOVE AND BEYOND our expectations. This hotel has it all: copious rooms, strong wifi, free international home calls, delicious buffet breakfast, 24 hour gym, an...

Although I had stayed in several Jerusalem hotels before, I was concerned about staying in this one. It is close to the Central Bus Station, an area with which I was unfamiliar, and it used to be a run-down looking place. I was very pleasantly surprised to find a clean room and a desk clerk who was able and willing to answer all my questions in Hebrew, Russian and En...

We are very happy during our stay at Jerusalem Gold Hotel. We will come back to the same hotel again. We also will recommend this hotel to our friends and families in Australia. This Hotel has a specific service that others hotel didn't provided such as gave us earlier check in around 11.30 AM in the morning. We'd like to say thank you to the Manager and staff who reall...

The hotel was an excellent find. I have stayed several times in Jerusalem but this was the first time at this hotel and I'd cetainly stay again. The location is very convenient, 5 minutes by car or a 15 minute walk to the Old City, a few minutes more to the centre of town. The hotel is clean, modern and the bedrooms somewhat larger than comparable hotels in Jerusalem. ...

Our stay at Hotel Yehudah was amazing! The room was spectacular with a beautiful view. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast buffet was like if we had gone to a five star restaurant. And their Judaica/souvenir store in the lobby was fool of the most beautiful merchandise with very decent prices. We had a very pleasant, long chat with the gentleman who was working...
