Where to stay in Makkah
Makkah hotels & accommodations

Pros: Very close to the Masjid Al Haram, very convenient for the elderly people. Taxi service to the airport from the reception desk was phenomenal! Iftaar buffet was delicious. Cons: Bathroom was not as clean as expected. Obviously the price is in the higher range. The receiption desk was way crowded, should engage some seasonal staff during the rush period. The worst...

The hotel is ideally located and closest to the Haram. Even if compared with the budget hotels around, the price difference is bearable for a short pilgrimage stay. The budget hotels are atleast 500m and farther and if travellers are elderly people or someone travelling with younger kids, the hotel is best located. The breakfast is sumptuous (if one opts to take with ...

The room was clean. 35sq.m but the bathroom is not clean, very very narrow I xan't even stretch, seriously. The breakfast was the best. Outdoor tables in the fresh air looking at Almasjid Alharam. Indoor tables too. 2 floors for breakfast and a big choices of food. Easy to check in and out. Helpful people in Makkah. I recommend it. The location is the best in Makkah it...

One of the best hotels in Makkah in term of money and quality of staff. Checkout is very fast. And I got upgrade to suit room which was amazing. The room was clean, just need to clean kettle or replace it to new one due to smell of coffee. Restaurant was excellent. I recommend everyone to try to eat there( many choices). For sure I will be back inshallah

Very clean hotel. Check-in was smooth. however had issues at checkout. make sure to keep your printed invoice with you. I along with my wife stayed for 4 night. It was the best experience of our life at Makkah ( already performed Umra 6 times before). The facilities, friendly staff, very close proximity to Haram and a very reasonable package too. All these made it our best experience at Makkah. Not to forget the most lavish breakfast. I rate it 5/5, Thanks to Agoda.com for helping me ...

Stayed three nights while performing Umrah. Very clean and modern facility. Did find an English speaking person in the check-in counter. Room was clean and nice with all the amnesties expected from a 4 star hotel. Daily cleaning was also available. Overall, everyone liked the hotel. Moderate 15 minutes walking distance from the Haraam. Last hundred yards or so to the ...

This is the best 5 star hotel I have stayed at in Makkah. It is modern and clean with a surprisingly good customer service (something very rare in Saudi Arabia!) -Very good breakfast -Beautiful prayer room/mosque overlooking the ka'bah. Location: It is 5 minutes walking distance to Bab-e-Abdul Aziz entrance but during Namaz times there is shuttle service which runs to and from the haram. To actually walk all the way to the Bab-e-Abdul Aziz gate and then all the way to the actual Sehan(Mataf) ground or 1st Floor where you could actually be close/see the Kaaba it will take you good 12/13 minutes. Given ...

We had a great stay in Conrad Makkah. It was my 4th visit to this hotel, and we picked it for its beautifully designed & spacious rooms, the comfortable beds, the cleanliness of the hotel, great breakfast options and most importantly its closeness to Alharam! Literally you are 1-3 min away from the Al-haram Al-makki. Rest assured that you are going to have an amazing...

Makkah is the place where people offer helping each other, but same place hotel employee didn't give me water when i was very tired and thirthy, he said to me go baqala take water, i can bring water for you, also rude really, if hotel did not servce the water than what is the use, i am dibetic patient, any thing happan hotel management would be resposible, pilgrim comi...

I've been to Makkah 3 times within the last few years. This hotel is without a doubt the best hotel if travelling with children or elderly parents like I was doing. Never had to wait longer than 10seconds for a lift. You can get to the haram from your room within 5 mins. Clean rooms, excellent service. Amazing breakfast. Will def stay here again on my return InshAllah....

My stay was mid June with a %67 discounted price through agoda. A friendly staff from trolly guys to manager. Very supportive and quick in service, clean rooms. Areas of improvement could be in the maintenance side, knowledge of reception staff of online booking and extention n try not to blame customers for their own mistakes!! I wanted to extend my stay but they ref...

Since all the big players are absent from Taif, I did what I dreaded the most and booked with a local brand hotel. I was shockingly pleased because it exceeded my expectations and by a mile. Great rooms, great services and the shipping centre is down under. I liked it.

The lobby is very good and spacious. There are multiple eateries nearby and makkah mall is also not that far. The room was not that good as expected and as it should have been after seeing the lobby. Quite a bit small. The bus to haram drops at a far away point but all the buses drop you off there so it balances out.

the makkah hilton towers is somewhat less flashy than its sister hotel, the makkah hilton and the different entry points was a bit confusing for first time pilgrims like us. towers reception area is located in the basement carpark whereas the latter is on the ground floor. we booked a tower family room for four nights in august this year through agoda. check in was qui...

I stay for 1 night here, i catch a very good price for the room, compare it's 4 star hotel, it was a brilliant price, this hotel not close to "Haram" you need at least 10 minutes by taxi or car to reach "Haram" but the hotel offer free transportation (BUS) going frequently to "Haram" every hour and 24 hour, which is great, bus will drop you in a point need to walk anot...
Cheap places to stay in Makkah

When i want to check in,they said my name not in the list from agoda and when i want use hotel from hotel to call agoda, they dnt allowed it and ask me to call by myself. After everything settled, i can checkin. I book for 6 day n after 3 day,the hotel ask me to check out because they said i only booking for 3 day only. Again,i call agoda to solve this stupid problem.

Hotel is good and clean, Staff is very polite and helpful, 12 minutes walk to Masjid Al Haram No buses on the way Taxi taking 5 to 10 sar to Masjid Mr. Shahid is very nice, polite and helpful man on counter, Shared kitchen, all rooms wifi but very slow, tea maker, cleanliness, free water for all over all very good hotel.

The staff did not know English so it was extremely difficult to communicate. The walk to the Haram was a mission going up and down a long steep hill. There was only one place to eat nearby which you had to run across the dual carriage to get too. The rest of the food places were around a 10 minutes walk. There was a grocery shop in a nearby hotel otherwise you also had...

Didn't accept agoda booking. And started call bad names on agoda. Asked me to cancel my agoda booking and they will give me the same for the same price. My booking were for 3 bed room. They gave me a two bed room and remover some furniture to squeeze additional 3rd bed. We waited for long time to get our room although we arrived to hotel at 10 pm. Even though the room ...

I booked hotel from 22/03/2018 until 24/03/2018. I already mentioned that i will arrive at 6am on 23/03/2018 but when i meet with receptionist. They informed us that there is no KEY available as you booked through online. You have to wait until 2pm. I had to stay until 10 am then they provide key after long discussion with management. Also shuttle service was not good ...

Everything is excellent, the rooms are very clean and spacious, there is all you need inside (such as kettle, dishes, cooker, fridge, tv...), wi-fi signal in room is good, air condition is good, staff is very kind...There is a gorcery inside hotel... Welcome was very bad. Check in was very pathetic. Lock was damage of offered room. Staff insisted me to upgrade the room to get a good lock for door. They gave me other room when I asked I will call to Agoda about this. Location on Agoda site isn't correct. When you click from Agoda on directions it gives you wrong location. But in searching on Google you reach to the ...

As soon as we arrived we were told that we have not made payment although we booked via agoda and paid, we were waiting around for 3 hours trying to deal with this at last we were told that they have received the paynent but due to checking in late we have to pay for one day, eventually we were given our rooms. Hotel is spacious, sehri is nice, location is about 4-5min...

Excellent hotel, Excellent service, very good transportation to Haram Problems Shuttle Buses are crowded before and after prayers immediately Long time without buses in Maghreb and Al-Ishaa prayers time although their drivers are cooperative Bus parking location is about 300 meters from haram , opposite to Shohadaa Hotel Bad mobile signal in the hotel area , the b...

The place had a good atmosphere and house keeping actually exists which is very rare in Makkah and Madinah. The staff was helpful. My room had 2 bathrooms and a separate sink and a small kitchen. The best thing is the hourly shuttle service to Haram (extra shuttles during prayer times). If you have 3 pin chargers make sure to bring your own adapters. My only complai...

The management is quite polite and will respond to your queries. Only problem is the size of washroom shower which is a bit short especially to accommodate a fatty person. Otherwise, it is a good choice and market is also nearby. Bus service to Haram and back to hotel is also available.

Please tell your most reception staff to return salaam. never a single time I heard them returning salaam. not me alone but other Turkish customers were unhappy. salaam is the best greeting and covers everything one would expect from the reception. it is very ugly to maintain such people in the faces of clients.

My stay was fantastic, when I first arrived at the hotel I was meant to get a standard room but the staff upgraded me to a suite which was awesome, I ask the staff what time is the check out they said 12pm but I forget to set my alarm for that instead I checked out late about 3pm and they welcomed me with a smile and not asking for extra charges... There's no reason fo...

Pros More parking space Big room complete with all ameneties Cons Sound proofing is not good.. You can hear the sound from outside the door or and nearby room Leaking water in the bidet/hand spray I stayed for 3 nights but my room was not cleaned or made up at least once. I tried to call the room service and they told me to attend my request but when i came back, my r...

The hotel is very good, well maintained and relatively newly built. The furniture and the flooring all look new and clean. It is highly recommended however only if you have your own transport. It is at least a 15 minutes drive from the Masjid al-Haram. That is not very convenient when you have to pay SAR 15 five times a day to reach the Haram to say your prayers and th...

I booked a double room for one night through Agoda website and paid the bill in full. However, when I arrived the hotel it took them a long time to sort out my booking. It seems that they are not getting a lot of bookings through this website, since they were even surprised when I said I already paid for my booking. After almost half an hour waiting at the lobby, the r...

The room is spacious and clean enough. The internal design is very cozy and comfortable to stay. The breakfast provides variety of choices which are fresh and taste kind of good. The breakfast shall start earlier for business person to enjoy their meal. 7am is a little too late. Corn : During the check-in, the staff couldn't find the booking reference from Agoda. Seems...

This is my fourth stay at this hotel. The hotel is in a good location in Mahbas Aljin with a great value for money, clean, steps away from the public transportation which makes it easy for you to move from and to the Haram. There are some remarks to mention : 1) It is very difficult to find a parking. 2) The room facilities including cleaning, water, tea, and coffee,...

The overall stay was very comfortable. This hotel is a new property inaugurated just a month ago. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Value for money. The check-in took a long time as the rooms were not prepared when we checked in the hotel. We had to wait for around 1.5 hours to get our rooms. We actually went in around 13:30 while the check-in time is 16:00. ...

Everything is fabulous, the staff is so friendly, the room is very clean, moreover their fast services, and I like even their security system which reflect how value their customer is, when I order a meal from out side they don't allow them to come to my room, they pick the meal themselves and bring it to me. But there is only one thing if they did they would be perfec...

I checked in on 16th Feb and check out on 23rd. First complain I booked a room Duplex Suit with 3 single bed and got the confirmation of the same but they gave me a 2 single bed duplex suit which they called twin duplex suit. And when I complained they gave a lame excuses and ask me to pay 1000 riyal more for the same room which I booked. Mr. Abdul Razzaq is very non ...

This is newly built 5 star hotel of Millennium Chain of Hotels. It has all facilities which you expect from any 5 star hotel. If you are coming to Makkah by car this hotel would be the best choice as it has free secured parking space for 200 cars. Per night rates are very less as compared to other 5 star hotels in Makkah and the reason is its location which is 2.3 kilo...

Location - excellent-2 min walk from King Fahad Gate. Hotel Room- Very nice room (adequate size) with all the latest facilities. Elevator- unlike all other hotels with Malls this hotel has no issues with the lift even during peak hours 10/10. Breakfast: I doubt if any other hotel can give this much variety of breakfast, One word only, unbelievable!!, don't miss it. Ove...

Very good location to Haram, but we only have the hotel restaurant no options, we need to get food from outside if we want to change. PROS: - The price was great with these facilities - Though on Agoda it says that internet is only available in lobby but in fact internet is available in room too. - Bus/Shuttle service available from hotel to Haram. This hotel is generally good. Classed as a 5 star hotel, would say that it probably just meets those standards, in reality 4.5 stars Positives: Location is good easy walk to and from the Haram. Everything was extremely good starting from facilities, staff response, care, breakfast, to location. Though it is in aziziya shumali, hotel has regular schedule for buses that is provided to guests. The buses drop in saptco bus station and haram is a little far but hotel has to do as there is no other way. We used to hire taxis at SR 15 just that drops under king fahd...

It's one of the well-known hotels in Jeddah, you cant go wrong with the location and the view. I just noticed the cleanliness of the room and the facilities has decreased since last time I visited in 2015. Nevertheless, it's still one of the best hotels in Jeddah, highly recommended.

An amazing hotel. Just book the hotel and you will feel that you have booked yourself a room in paradise. Bravo! 15-20 minutes walk to Masjid Haram; rom the hotel main entrance take right, go straight and there you are. Located on main Ibrahim Al Khalil street. Welcoming, honest and hard working staff and very helpful. Choice of breakfast is too much as you won't be ...

This is really a great hotel. The check-in was fast. The receptionist was polite and helpful. The room is spacious for both of us. It is clean and tidy, the beds and linens are perfect.
