Chilled stay ”
Hotel clean, breakfast not bad, staff pleasant and friendly. Absolutely no complaints. Pool is at a different place but only a minute away.

Vang Vieng Galaxy Hotel is pretty small and has a pretty chilled-out vibe. The best thing about this hotel (which is also referred to as 'Vang Vieng Guesthouse') is the staff. They are eager to tell you cool things to do in this adventure city of Laos, such as climbing up to the top of Nam Xai (sp?) lookout. Breakfast is a set menu with unlimited baguettes and a selection of deliciously prepared fruit. Overall, it's a solid choice in Vang Vieng.

No hot water in Superior room ”
I had the room on first floor. Hot water is enough for only one person, then you need to wait 20-30 min for Central water to heat up. Also bathroom had sewer smell whole time. The rest is ok but with hot water problem all looked like a bad experience

This hotel is sparkling clean and staffs are very helpful and friendly. Ideal location which is a little away from main street so you won’t get noisy during night time. Night market is about 10 minutes walking from the hotel. You can also use the pool at Vang Vieng bungalow near by as they have the same owner. I would definitely recommend this.

I was pretty impressed by this place. I had guesthouse expectations but this felt more like a 3-star hotel! Location is great. Everything was clean, the air-con was good, and there were complimentary bottles of water, coffee, and tea. Hot water and water pressure in the shower were good, and combs, toothbrushes, shampoo, shower gel, and towels were provided. The staff was also super friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. I would definitely recommend it to others and would stay here again if I return to Vang Vieng.

Nice place”
The manager knew English and allowed us to use her computer for a long time. She was very nice. Also gave us small waterproof bag. Nice breakfast. Location is good- not in the center but really not far. The other receptionist didn't speak English and it was annoying. The wifi didn't work at all at the first two days (finally worked at the third one). Also, they didn't cleaned our room at all during our stay so we had to ask every day for more shower gel, toilet paper, water, clean towels and etc.

Although there was little inconvenience during our stay, this place is still warm and we two love it. Nice room with tidy and neat decoration with good private bathroom attached. Yet, breakfast here has various types and the taste is also delicious. 👍

This was a gem of a find for a couple in Vang Vieng for a few days. The rooms were very spacious, the A/C was excellent and the whole place was very clean. A couple small improvements such as more drinking water and covers for the breakfast so flies to land on food would give this place an extra star rating. Small complaints though for what was otherwise a very enjoyable stay.

All good, except mattress. It had so many lumps in it we had to use it at 90 degrees, which was possible with a king size. Check it first!
