Hotel foarte bun, situat putin in afara zonei turistice. Camere frumoase dar cu multe urme de folosinta. Raport pret calitate foarte bun. Curatenie 10 puncte. Mic dejun foarte bun.

Da evitare”

Se c'è stato qualche raro effetto positivo è stato cancellato dal furto che abbiamo subito in camera dalle ragazze delle pulizie!!! Siamo scesi 15 minuti a colazione...e sono entrate!!! Purtroppo ce ne siamo accorti solo in aeroporto che i nostri portafogli erano vuoti e con l'aereo in partenza!!! A Vientiane vi sono tanti hotel: evitate questo!!!!

Great location near the middle of the city center and the river area. ”

These rooms are nice, but would be lovely with some updating. The lobby is very nice, as is the pool area. The pool was not lovely though, as it seemed to have been some time since the pool was properly cleaned. Breakfast was nice. Decent location, decent value. Again, with some updating and a bit more attention to detail, this could be a prime spot to stay in Vientiane.

Great Value”

Fantastic rooms, big size, decent bathrooms, great balcony, decent breakfast, nice reception area for less than 30USd per night it was one of the best budget hotels I have stayed in, and I have stayed in many. Only slight safety concerns with the height of railings on balcony and corridors. Also the pool badly needs the water changed, I dared not swim in the dirty pool.

I stayed in five different hotels on this trip this hotel was in the top two. The rooms are comfortable, staff amazing. The Internet is not so good in the rooms. The location is not awesome, but it’s OK. If you’re going to the night market for something like that be prepared for a bit of a hike. However, the hotel itself is very nice and I recommend it.

Need to upgrade on room interior”

First and foremost, we are happy with the staffs for the excellent service especially the front receptions always give good smile. But room equipments like taps, lightings, etc. are wears and tears and must improve immediately.

If you could wind the clock back when this hotel was at its prime it would of been a great hotel. It’s just so tried but it wouldn’t take much to put it back to its prime. Staff were very friendly , if you take time to get to know them. If wanted to use the ground floor pool,you will be disappointed as my wife was. It’s getting a revamp may be things are looking up.

Gimme food ”

Dated property that needs upliftment. The lady receptionist was helpful. She gave us an early checkin. Nice pool to chill but hotel needs a restaurant, as places to eat are 15 minutes walk away. So for lunch we had to step out in scorching heat.

Not what I expected”

No water in the shower or sink in the mornings. No telephone in the rooms so you have to go back and forth tot he front desk. Desk staff does not provide correct information needed for a tourist. Cable was out for half a day. The driver of the hotel spoke the best English and was able to explain or inform me about where to go and what to do. I was suppose to stay for 4 nights l, end up leaving after 3 nights.

Hotel which used to be nice hotel ”

Hotel definitely needs a refurbishment. No gym and no swimming pool on the ground floor. They offered gym in their other hotel 10 minutes away which was very basic. Breakfast very basic. Cleaners knocking to the door despite No Disturb sign...

Nice rooms, nice breakfast”

The hotel is a little off of the main touristy roads, but if you are ok with walking 5 mins then it's no problem. Good parking lot if you drive as well. The pools were nice to cool off in and the breakfast was better than your average hotel breakfast

Great hotel. ”

Location is good, staff are friendly, It's a little hard to find. Rooms are really really big and furnished in a French style. Great views of Vientiane from all sides, balcony safe large, bike hire available from the hotel is great, and short day trips are easy to organise through this hotel. Definately will stay again

Hotel with great staff and ammenities”

Stay at Vientiane Golden Sun Hotel for 2 nights. Warmly welcomed with the hotel staff, who brought me out to money changer as all the banks have closed by the time I've checked in. Nice quite hotel to unwind and relax.

Great location, friendly staff.ideal for Laos ”

I stayed here while getting my visa. The hotel was undergoing a refurb but it was still lovely. Attentive staff always on hand to help with directions, recommendations etc. 2 nice pools, good wifi, nice big rooms with a bath tub, seating area, balcony, safe,fridge etc. Everything you needed. Cleaned daily with fresh water and refreshments. Good tv choice. Great location for the markets, temples, restaurants etc.

Charmingly Flawed & Nice Staff”

It's a bit run down, and it's a bit out of the way — but I like it. Massive bath tub is a plus. The breakfast isn't bad at all (someone gave it a bad review, and I don't know why). My room is spacious with a big balcony, hot water, great maid service... The pool is serviceable. If you don't mind being in an older place with noticeable aging, it's got charm and the staff is sweet.

How can such a hostel listed as 4 stars?”

Old,rotten and poor facilities.Reception with poor English.Smelling toilet and no air fan....Dry swimming pool.Electric lines without protection.Only one thing good is the location (have some distance from the main road and can enjoy a quiet night).很烂，别住。

Very good hotel”

Casually i wrong the date of booking so i try contact the agoda center but have just someone talk bla bla bla and then i call the hotel and they change the date for me. I really thanks them so much for this. This is my favourite hotel in Vientiane because is very nice with low price.

Excepțional”

.First of all let me say that the staff were very helpful and the most friendly in every way. The breakfast (included) was a buffet style with a cook standing by for you to order eggs cooked your style.I booked the Hotel Golden Sun after reading the reviews from other travelers on line and I am glad that I did. The hotel may need a bit of an upgrade by replacing the old carpets in some areas but as I was there they were upgrading many of the old style areas including the carpets' will be staying there again in January or February. I give it four and a half stars.
