Decent hotel”

Nothing special about the hotel, breakfast was good. Room fixtures are old, and pretty out of place. For example, socket is not near for the kettle, and shower head is at an awkward position for shower. Shower strength is good.

Plus point is the location, services just ok but can be improved. Security guard stop our car from leaving and hold us until the front desk clear. We were two rooms together. I contact reception to c/o and paid for both room, my friend came down at later as he was having issue with safety box has to wait for front desk to open. After got the safety box open and my friend returned keycard to Front Desk that open Safety box for him. My friend came down to lobby and went to restaurant at 2nd floor for coffee after that he went straight to pick up luggage at Bell counter and we both carry our own luggage to the car which the driver is ready to take us to our meeting. But can not leave as security ran to us stop our car and talk Lundy with Reception on walkie talkie that we are not allow to leave and insulted that we have not contact Front Desk to Check out. I have to show the receipt I paid but he still need to wait for permission from Front Desk. what an EMBARASSMENT...

Great Location for Telco Guys.”

Other than taxi and tuk tuk, no public transportation is made available in Vientiane. Surrounding the hotel are the HQs of some of the major telcos in Laos. The rooms itself are clean, maintained and quite old-fashion. This is not the chic type of hotel. Food was good, especially the pho. Staff were great and very helpful.

Excellent quality, no complaints”

Was just here for three nights on a short-term stay. Found everything to be very modern, clean, and well looked after. The staff are very helpful. Free WIFI available on every floor, and fast too, which was important to me. There's a great restaurant and coffee shop downstairs which sells some really good food. No complaints.

New Hotel and Great Location!”

this is a new hotel owned by vietnamese. considering that it's a new hotel, some inexperience staffs is understandable bu it's balance with a very good manager level on each department. some details on the hotel room amenities may be need to be improved but overall it's a good quality hotel for vientiane standard. i asked for a one-day transportation and the manager gave me a good discount! one more thing which is remarkable, the reservation team is very responsive to email before & after my stay and deserved a big thumbs-up! i left something in the hotel room and just realized when i was already in hanoi. the hotel was not only keep my stuffs but one vietnamese manager brought my stuff to hanoi from vientiane on the next day!!!!!! :)

Very good firm hotel””

Positives: This is a relatively new hotel. The rooms are nice, spacious, and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Location seems relatively safe. Not So Positives: It is a distance to get to the river area and good restaurants. The restaurant was so so - breakfast was horrible but our dinner the night before was good. Staff doesn't speak very much English - be prepare or you may be frustrated.

What to know about V-plaza ”

It was average at best. The best thing about this hotel is the location. It's in the center of town and super convenient for tourist. You can walk to get a massage, eat, and shop. Laos people are super nice by nature but the staff needs professional training. I understand the language very well and can hear them speak to each other. They lack tack, proper chain of command and just simple HOTEL professionalism training. The rooms were decently sized, the TV a little small but the repairs were tacky. Holes in the ceiling and just make shift repairs, not worthy of a nice 4 star hotel. We stayed on the 3rd floor, which is one floor above the dining area. Every time someone moves a chair, we hear the scraping on the floor noise. It's quite irritating and wakes you up every morning. Also, the Chinese guest are so loud in the hallways. Also, they charge us an additional $10 for bringing in guest. I think that's unnecessary for a 4 star hotel.

Not as Expected”

My first experience was wonderful. The staff were great. This time around was totally different. Although the staff and room condition remained the same, the hotel was filled with smokers. I was not able to enjoy the hotel as a nonsmoker and had to remain in my room the entire time.

This hotel is located near the heart of action. Room is big and clean. I enjoy the breakfast very much. Staff are friendly. Even though the hotel is nice but it is very business type that you wont feel warm here. Overall, it is a good stay.

The rooms are quite spacious, equipped with a working desk, hi-speed internet, TV, minibar, safe and air-condition and dryer in bathroom like a normal 4-Star hotel. Breakfast is good, there is a variety of food like a standard 4-star hotel would, but its the same menu everyday. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Overall this is a good place to stay for business traveler. The room is big, has good amenities & well maintained. The staff is very friendly and will try their best to accommodate your request. I would definitely come back on my next trip.

I think it is one of the best location in town. The rooms are specious, equipped with desk, hi-speed internet, TV, minibar, safe and air-condition and dryer in bathroom. You can also find bathrobe and slippers. The breakfast is very good, there is a big choice of food: chicken noodle soup, scramble eggs, omelet, fried rice, pork/ chicken sausage and toasts. Unfortunately every day is the same choice but taste good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Sometimes we had difficulty with the communication in English but there is always somebody who can help with the translation. We are not very happy about housekeeping. They do not clean room like in 4 star hotels. Sometimes they forgot to leave drinking water or towels, shower gel etc.

“Good location, New Hotel and nice rooms””

This Vietnamese managed hotel is situated in the city centre; and it is one year old. It is in a complex that also comprises office and retail units. The hotel is within a ten minute walk to the river front where there are a lot of cafes, bars and restaurants. It has a beautiful, spacious and modern lobby. The front entrance area is made of glass. As you enter, the cool interior makes you feel like you have entered an oasis of tranquility. The bathroom was a bit on the small side. I could smell cigarette smoke from other rooms which comes in through the ventilation duct in the bathroom. If you are not happy about this – you can request a change of room. Unfortunately, the hotel is not yet a “No smoking” hotel. The bathroom had the usual amenities like shower gel, shampoo, shower cap, tooth brush and paste, razor, etc. Breakfast is buffet style. There is an egg station where you can request how you wish your eggs to be done. Almost all the hot buffet dishes contain pork. The fresh fruit is a delight. Pastries and different kinds of bread are available. There is also local beef noodle soup available. Cold salads and slices of meat are also available. I did not have lunch or dinner at the hotel restaurant because there are cafes and restaurants not far from the hotel. This is a good hotel for business people. It is in a good location and room prices are competitive. It is a good place to meet for business meetings.

Great location”

While location and facilities are generally good (I like the gym), I lie almost everything about the hotel. Service is good. However, the food quality is really bad. Breakfast is ok, do not order dinner or ala carte!
