Melifluous fluvial geomorphology”

If you think that's a nice mouthful wait until you see what I have served up in the morning - the breakfast is worth fasting for IMHO. The location on the riverbank is lovely with less than 900 metres picturesque stroll to the nightmarket and central Vientiane. Staff are great - no problem too small and all sizes accommodated without a problem. The newly built hotel is well- designed so the rooms are easily navigable and feel spacious. All the important amenities provided and good: air-con, megacomfy bed, secure safe, fridge with minibar and snacks, kettle, free water and toiletries, daily room make-up and towel replenishment, wonderful shower and bathroom, good desk with fast WiFi and LAN. Downstairs a bicycle is available for errands and tables within and out for breakfast and drinks. Well stocked drinks selection including 30 year old single malt. Only slight issue is the swimming pool is more Jacuzzi sized, but then again I've never seen anyone actually do anything resembling actual swimming in any hotel pool in Vientiane.

In addition to all previous information about the splendidity of this hotel, it's location is perfect for pootle along the bank of the Mekong past the vivid flowers to the soundtrack of the Wat on the ' wrong side of the tracks' in Nong Kai. Blooming lovely. It's almost physically exciting.

Pretty much the nicest hotel I have stayed in , in the centre of Vientiane. Wonderful new rooms with: Aircon, safe, kettle,fridge, reasonable minibar , excellent bathroom, with free toiletries including a shave kit and toothbrush. Very comfortable bed , blackout curtains and quiet at night for a great nights sleep. Daily housekeeping with fresh towels and water. Staff very helpful and friendly and dedicated. 24hour reception and breakfast 7:30 to 10:00. Several choices and freshly prepared for you. Staff have fresh eggs. Great coffee and hot. BTW visit next door shop and ask about their taxi. Close to some lovely Riverside restaurants and bars. Walkable to the night market. Got to tell Hammy the hamster about this one, it's a gem.

Well-designed, with every amenity, friendly and good value. Just watch out, it's triky to find if you pick the wrong Google business entry.It is not near the Aliiance hospital, its by the riverbank. So spent an evening going round in a tuk tuk. Breakfast has nice options. Minibar in room. And 30 year old Ballantine's in bar. The pool is more 'Hot tub time machine' size, but otherwise well-endowed.

This places turned a tiny room (square footage wise) into a kingdom with it's incredible use of space. We got the room with bunk beds for our family of 4 and it was ideal! Plenty of cubbies for storing clothes, a closet, a balcony overlooking the pool and comfortable beds. There were even plenty of towels (which is rare at even 5 star hotels in Asia)! The pool is tiny and shallow (just up to my shoulders -about 5 feet deep) but it matches the quaint feel of this boutique hotel. we had planned to skip the free breakfast because our favorite bakery (Common Grounds) was about a 15 min walk or a 6 min drive, but after seeing the menu we decided to go for it! It was filling and decent. For the price (free) it was great! We even decided to order lunch at the hotel because we were enjoying the pool and didn't want to leave. Chicken fried rice was okay and spaghetti was the typical Lao sweet spaghetti sauce, but the price was low and it filled our bellies. Will DEFINITELY come back!

I was disappointed in the size of the swimming pool, because it's not big enough to actually swim in. The room was clean and the staff was friendly.

This little hotel is a nice place for your stay in Vientiane. Rooms are very clean and everything is brand new. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Viryla Boutique Hotel is located in a very quiet area, just a 10-minute boardwalk along the Mekong to the main tourist area of the town.
