Though this hotel is not the nicest, the service is great, the staff friendly and helpful, and the location is great. I had to call the hotel a few times to figure out the best way to get there from out of town, and they always helped as much as they could. If you don't mind a place that's past its prime, this is a great find.

Affordable price with the best location. Walking distance to malls. Long-distance bus to HK was stopped right in front of the hotel. Unfortunately, it happens to be a coronavirus outbreak during my visit. Hotel receptionist request for a body temperature check. We could only eat at McDonald's next door during our stay.

1. No free Wifi is available despite of reporting to Administration office. 2. Worn out sanitary fitting and carpet in guest room 3. Rotten smell right out of entrance of dining room on 5th floor. 4. No security control in passenger lift. 5. Slide door of cloakroom in guest room did not work properly. 6. Worn out furnitures, such as chairs, table, insufficient no. of power socket or in wrong position. Conclusion: 1. The hotel needs a grand renovation sooner.

Entrance gardman is not polite. Reception is so so. Wall papaer was dirty and broken. Bath tab drain was broken, and shower room is moldy. Some hotel is already got old, but keep clean and maintenance , still good condition. but I disappointed this hotel and no second time to come this hotel, no doubt.

the reason why i keep coming back to rosedale hotel & suites guangzhou is simply because it is 1. located above the metro station. 2. next, the buffet breakfast is way better than other hotels. fruits, yoghurt, many fresh bread and jams to choose from. noodles, rice, ham, veggies. fruit juices, coffee, milk. dimsum 3. the staff speak excellent english 4. many stores and restaurants are walking distance from the hotel. the front desk staff are very accommodating. they go the extra mile. that is the reason why the next time i am in guangzhou, i will stay in rosedale. i highly recommend staying in this hotel.

Location is top-notch now with new metro station”
i visit guangzhou almost once a month, and i always stay in this hotel. this is my 2nd review. location the location is not at the center of guangzhou (like tianhe, etc), and is in the haizhu district. but i still love the location since it is surrounded by lots of restaurants and shopping places, and is not in a touristy area. mcdonalds and kfc are right beside the hotel. and there are several chinese restaurants worth a try. skip the breakfast buffet and have dimsum and tea at the chinese restaurant beside the hotel (near 7-11). another must-try is the chinese hot-pot restaurant near mcdonalds. you will need to wait for a table though if you want to eat at peak hours. with the newly constructed metro station right below the hotel, it is now very easy to go around guangzhou. i always take the metro from the airport to the hotel, even if my flight arrives at 10pm. way cheaper and faster than taking a taxi. the airport express bus (#3 if i'm not mistaken) also drops off / picks up passengers near the hotel. rooms the rooms here are hit-and-miss. if you get the newly renovated rooms, you are in luck because they are really nice. the interiors are modern and very clean. can be compared to other more expensive 4-star hotels in guangzhou. do not be tempted though with their cheapest rooms that go on sale at agoda. i got a room for 300-350rmb only, but they gave me their oldest room - dingy and musty - with very old furnishings. tiles are broken and dirty, clogged shower heads, moldy bathtubs, dirty ceilings, old toilet seats, you name it. i just took this in stride since i know i got the room at a promo rate. good thing i stayed only one night, and that it only happened to me once. but next time i will definitely get the upgraded room. value this hotel for me still ranks as one of the best value-for-money hotels in guangzhou. that single incident will not dissuade me from staying in this hotel again.

I will stay again in Rosedale Hotel, next time I come to Guangzhou. Among all the hotels I have stayed in Guangzhou, this was the best hotel I have stayed so far. Only the check-in process too some time, other wise all seems to be fine. The room was spacious and clean. The wifi was okay most of the time except for few odd hour when the wi fi was a little slower. The metro is just outside the compound of the hotel. There are lot of eateries around. On the whole it was worth the tariff paid for the hotel

I have stayed at rosedale hotel for about 10 days, it was close by most facillities . the staff was friendly. I have stayed in a non smoking level. The room was a good size and they clean it every day. The open buffet breakfast was wonderfull, with asian and western food and drinks and an excellent coffee making machine. I have enjoyed my stay and I will defently be back again all the time I travel to Guangzhou.

Once again I was extremely impressed with the level of service provided to guests at the Rosedale. I can not speak in chinese and thus the concierge guy went out of the hotel with me to a shop to recharge my phone credits. this was unexpected service and it feels good to be treated like this. Besides this, there is a KFC, Mcdonalds and Pizza hut less than a minutes walk from the hotel. The Changgan Metro Station is right outside the hotel. Its a very good location for anyone who has come to Guangzhou to attend a fair at the Pazhou complex as its not remotely located close to the Pazhou complex yet close enough with a good neighborhood for travelers to enjoy!

No Where Better in Guangzhou!”
The Rosedale is my home away from home in Guangzhou. I would not stay anywhere else! The rooms are a bit odd and quirky, the walls faded and the carpet worn..... but after all it is a Chinese 4 star and you get what you get. The location and the super staff are the key to this amazing property. Located on Line of the Guangzhou Metro, it is just minutes from virtually anywhere you need to go. I would never take a taxi or DiDi and spend hours in traffic when I can just walk downstairs and get the metro anywhere in the city. The breakfast is what I call an "Amazing Chinese Breakfast Buffet". If you're looking for Western style breakfast, spend $400 and stay in the Westin..... But for boiled cabbage and over cooked eggs with pork and beans you can't go wrong, and it's usually another $4 or $5 to your room. Fantastic! The staff are very helpful and always give me an upgrade, usually to of or there eclectic suites. Just expect things to be crazy during Canton fair like always!

My stay at the Rosedale Hotel & Suite was very good. I really like the location of the hotel just in front of an MRT station. It was very convenient to go around. And there are many food shops near the hotel, including western food restaurants. And the hotel room price was still reasonable.
