Everything was perfect. It was our first time in the island and I’m so glad I chose this hotel for this trip. The staff were amazing - from the hotel manager (xx I know you’re the person behind the room decor and the birthday cake hehe) to the housekeepers, everyone was so kind and accommodating. What I appreciate the most was that they made my birthday extra special - from the room decoration to knocking at our door to sing me happy birthday 🥹 (refer to photos), it was so touching. We booked one of their garden rooms which have this interesting concept of outdoor shower. The room was clean and practically everything (bedsheet, pillow cases, duvet, towels, even the lobby!! hahaha I love coming in every single time ) smelled so good!! I also loved that they got everything you would need in one place - restaurant, pool, spa, gym, bar (and soon a yoga place). Small area for improvement from my techy boyfie: internet. You might want to consider getting mesh units (e.g TP link) to have a more reliable connection on all parts of the resort. Your main Internet is strong (starlink) but only on some parts of the resort and your solution of using range extender will really slow down the connection from the main router. Mesh network will fix this and much cheaper to maintain. Overall we had an amazing time!! We’ll come back hehe

If there are 10 stars for review, I will give 10 stars! Everything is perfect. The resort is exemplary! Very clean to begin with. Very beautiful interior design. I love their rooms ang omg their bathroom! It's a garden bathroom! The bar has the perfect ambiance with a sea view! The dinning has a very cozy ambiance over looking the biggest pool in siargao! The cavana has a thick mattress that you can have a relaxing massage over looking the sea and you can hear the sound of the wave! They have the gym also over looking the sea. The spa! The spa! It's perfect. I can stay there all day. It's located on second floor where you can see almost the whole resort . What can I say! Take me back! And Of course The resort manager , Ms Merriam was very attentive and warm to her guest. She sees to it that I am enjoying my stay and have everything I need. Mr Alvin the front desk personnel solves my wifi problem instantly. Mr Niko another front desk personnel who is also very friendly and helpful. Last but not the least Ms jocelyn David! We become instant best friend. She help me with pictures yey !!! And also very helpful with everything since I travel alone.

The hotel itself is excellent, the facilities and dining are very good, staff are amazing and the location is great. Rooms are well kept and clean the only issue we had was the shower head had seen better days but the lack of hot water was an issue. Staff tried to address the lack of hot water but did not really resolve issues and get proper hot water. That is really the only fault I could find with this hotel.

booked floating cottage at a discount rate of 340 euro per night (62% discount!). Luxury expectations web site declares 112 sqm room, terrace, balcony and private pool. You get a (large) junior suite which is 112 sqm INCLUDING terrace and pool deck. NO PRIVATE POOL, just private access to the hotel pool Buttler service: from 10 am to 7 pm, when you are visiting the island No WiFI policy, BUT you need your phone data to communicate because no land line in the room, only a hotel provided tablet which is working with your phone data. Globe connection random, so you have to walk to the lobby to ask for service or to use lobby Wifi (Butler same issue since you contact him only by whatsapp) Nice pool but it close at 9pm. (you were even supposed to have your private!) Nespresso machine available in the room, only place where to plug it: the toilet! Missing in the room: iron, hairdryer, bottle opener - you have a first minibar complimentary provision - ash tray - they bring to you a dirty broken one upon request (evidence available), no body mirror in a large room and toilet, small wardrobe with 3 hangers only in the toilet, no cabinet or drawers or desk in the room, only a small bar very long but 30 cm deep, a place where to drop your keys/phone/ some accessory) Cleaning just on demand, if you forget they don't even inspect the room, in 3 days we got only 1 pool towel, cleaning accurate but they forget to refill the shower soap, some of the towels, forgot to clean terrace table. Toilet: large with large tub. We have evidence of broken shower faucet, broken toilet seat, broken shower floor Breakfast (we have evidence): 4 selection of meals, one day pancake not available, preparation time of yogurt/oats bowl more yìthan 20 minutes, buffet: 2 fruits, 3 kinds of bread, at 7 am the dessert was the left over of previous day cake, toaster very old, ugly and not automatic, one juice available, on demand you can have a mango juice which is canned and not fresh You expect a luxury treatment for the advertising and the price you are paying.For comparison purposes, at Marriot Manila for the same rate you get a 98 sqm suite, including lounge access (free foods and cocktails) large breakfast buffet, twice a day room cleaning, responsive attendance. Obviously the environment is different but we have checked a number of luxury other resorts in General Luna, similar location, cheaper price Last but not the least: no beach available, just a cement pier facing the sea Only very good thing has been the room set up to celebrate my wife birthday

My garden deluxe room were incredibly comfortable, and the shower, i love the style and the ambience. The Sunset bar offered drinks and stunning sunsets. The food was delicious, the resort staff were friendly and helpful, especially the staff in the restaurant - going above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable.
