Great location! Situated between two MRT red lines stops - Shunglian & Zhongshan stations, at least four convenience stores just a few meters from hotel entrance. Nice neighborhood and near Zhongshan Linear Park. They don't have complimentary full breakfast but they make up for it w/ unlimited coffee & tea, biscuits cookies & ice cream 24/7. They also have instant soups & oatmeals. They do have toast, butter & jam from 8am-11am. If travelling and you're often out early for sight-seeing these are great options for a light meal before heading out. The staff were nice and the bathroom is clean. My only suggestions would be: 1. If they could give at least two pillows per person. I don't know about the other rooms but in our room we only got one each. 2. It'd be nice to add a couple english books and magazines for foreign guests to read at their 2nd flr dining area, currently all books there are in chinese.

We were very very grateful to have found this hotel. The location is very good to taipei main station, ximending and dongmen. There is also a pharmacy, supermarket and convenience stall (7-11 and family mart) within 1 min walk. The room was big and clean enough. Bed was a bit hard and we had to request for more pillows cause the ones given were too flat and hard. Overall a small thing. We enjoyed our stay and would keep this place in mind for our next trip to taipei

Pros - Decent location 5 minutes from MRT. - Good value for money. the room had a bath tub. - There’s laundry room on the 3rd floor - Free flow drinks ie coffee, tea, instant soup and oatmeal, ice cream, biscuits and cookies throughout the day - No complimentary breakfast but they offer toast with butter and jam 8am-11am. There’s a breakfast place just around the corner. - Decent eateries nearby - Mandarin books to read around the snack bar - Able to store luggage before check in time and after check out time - 711 & Family Convenience stores just across the street. - Basic amenities provided ie towels, toothbrush, razor, room slippers Cons - Exterior is under renovation. The guys were walking about outside our 10th floor window 8am in the morning - NTD300 deposit required for a second room card. Will be refunded upon checkout. - The checkout time is 11am. They would call the room to remind if you do not check out by 10.30am. - Currently under renovation so no car park available at the premises - Quieter neighbourhood as compared with XiMenDing Conclusion: Definitely come back if the price point maintains.

Room was not cleaned properly and housekeeping staff not the most diligent (left cleaning objects on our personal items, hair on bedsheets). But once we alerted this to the counter staff, it was rectified immediately and room was in good shape. Thanks very much to the reception for this.
